Kelley Family #2

Unstoppable Love

Rate this book
A sizzling, small town, enemies to lovers, sports standalone romance from bestselling author, Stacey Lynn.

Ava Decker has hated me for just as many years as I’ve spent loving her.

I made a mistake pretending our night together never happened. For pretending I forgot. But we were young and I was getting ready to leave for college with big plans for the future.

I had no plans to return to our small town in Colorado anytime soon and Ava never wanted to leave. That alone was enough to keep me away from her while we both grew up.

And yet, I never forgot about her and what she means to me.

Now eight years later, imagine my surprise, when I come home and find Sleeping Beauty asleep on my couch, thinking I wouldn’t be back home from my off-season vacation for a few weeks.

As a professional football player, I know all about grabbing an opportunity and running with it. This is my chance to finally convince the girl of my dreams to stay and to tell her the truth about that fateful night years ago.

But getting Ava Decker to not only forgive me but to give me another chance comes with a whole new set of plays I’m not used to.

I’ve got all the time in the world to convince her. I’m committed to showing to her that she is my endgame. I let her go once before and I’ll stop at nothing to prove to her that my love for her is real and an unstoppable force.

** Readers should be mindful that Unstoppable Love contains multiple descriptive scenes of attempted assault that may be sensitive and triggering to some.

Unstoppable Love by Stacey Lynn

3.5 out of 5 stars

Unstoppable Love is the enjoyable story of Cameron and Ava. It starts with them being teens and their first time together. They have a magnificent night. And even though Ava whispers it's a one time thing. She is incredibly hurt when Cameron confesses/acts likes he doesn't remember their night at all. And she harbors that hatred for 8 long years.

Then we we have an 8 year time skip. Ava is dating Kip. She cares for him, but doesn't truly love him. And when she sees Cameron again she hates his arrogant posture and throws a beer in his face. While Cameron thinks she is pissy. But Cameron means it in positive way. He is still drawn to her and he is ready to tell her the truth about what happened 8 years ago.

When Kip asks Ava to marry him and she is unable to answer him he knows she doesn't want to and they break up. Her brother Isaiah tells her she can stay at Cameron's home because he is away for two weeks. But once she is there Cameron does come home and they instantly bicker. And when she leaves and Cam cannot find her. Well that is what kick-starts the story.

The first half of the book, was the weakest part of the book. I didn't really connect with Ava. And I found her rather unreasonable. She wasn't that likable in the first part of the book. I liked Cameron a lot more. He is open and honest about his feelings and Ava is kinda stuck in them.

Their families are very close and they come from a small town called New Haven. The entire town knows another. And Ava's Grammy is also Cameron's Grammy in her/his heart. I loved Grammy so much. And at first she plays a rather significant part in the story.
And then she poof disappears. That was such a shame. Grammy had such a great heart and she is so feisty. Cameron even says he still needs to talk to her. But that just never happens. And that bothered me quite a bit.

The second half of the book is much better. But it was also a bit strange. Because Ava just seems to drop her hatred when lust takes over and her previous hatred is never really mentioned. And that felt strange and like a plot-hole as well.

But once they are together and they connect and have that passion. That was really the heart and strength of the story. I love their burning passion. The love, lust and companionship. I love how their families accept them instantly. And root for them all the way.

Stacey did nail the character Jeremy. I instantly felt how nasty he was. How eerie and creepy. He was such a despicable character. That was a really strong part of the book.

I did enjoy the ending. But I felt quite rushed. I also didn't really understand or feel if Cameron liked his position in the football team. In the past and present I didn't really feel much passion from him for it.

Overall it was an enjoyable story. But I just missed things here and there.

So I am rating this book between 3.. 3.5 stars overall!

Багато було не зрозумілого трохи
То вона ображається на нього, і за дві хвилини вони разом, якось дивно
А в кінці отого козла додали
Але мені все одно сподобалось!
Дуууууже хочу вже про інших братів по читати

Тропи:
- найкращий друг брата;
- другий шанс;
- від друзів до ворогів;
- від ворогів до коханців;

ARC Review

Rating: 3.5/5 stars
Spice: 2/5

This was a good read, but not a great one. It was a lot of repeating of the same issues, Ava would get mad at Cameron for something stupid and run away. This was the majority of the book and it got old fast. The book's first half was a slow burn but with Cameron groveling, (even though I don't think he needed too much). Ava holding a grudge for 8 years is insane and hating Cameron despite how much he tried to make it up to her was annoying. It was like whiplash with that, running away from her problems was very immature which seemed to be a theme for her initially. Cameron was the boyfriend we all want in our life, he knew when to take accountability for his actions and knew how to talk things out which was something Ava learned from him eventually.

After Cameron and Ava got together the story got better overall. Both Ava and Cameron had character growth that was needed for me to enjoy this book. Cameron helped Ava become less negative and have a better outlook on her life and Ava showed Cameron that he can love football and people at the same time. The chemistry between them was great, I do think it could have been better but I felt the tension most of the time.

The one small thing that turned me off was the use of the word "invalid", it is a harmful term used to describe people with disabilities. In the story it was "Don't treat me like some invalid", it was gross and so uncomfortable for me as someone with a disability and a special education teacher. For that reason alone I have negative feelings towards reading another book by this author.

Just finished this book and oh my heart! Ava and Cam have my whole heart, let's get that out of the way. I'm a sucker for stories where the main characters have harbored secret crushes on each other forever, and this one totally delivered! Cam is genuinely nice, but his regrets over what happened between him and Ava after that unforgettable night add such depth to the story. Ava, on the other hand, is a total firecracker! She's not about to let her heart get broken again, so watching her make Cam work for it was pure joy. The tension between these two? chef's kiss And let's not forget about the scorching hot spice! But what really sets this book apart is the depth it offers alongside the steamy romance. Thank you, Stacey Lynn, for giving us such an addictive and satisfying read! Can't wait for more!

Another small town, second chances, brothers best friend romance. The story moved along with Cameron and Ava trying to figure out what they mean to each other. Cameron knew of Ava’s crush, and knew she was off limits in high school. But now they are older and there is the night he claims not to remember.

I love the small town part of the story, the way word travels, and the meddling. How Cam listens to Ava, and how he knows what she needs.

All in all, this is an easy read, one to get lost in. There is a bit of suspense, as the spots do not change for a person from their past.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

Unstoppable Love

📚💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💕📚

The always should’ve been love?

In book 2 The Kelley Family Series we get Cameron Kelly and his best friends baby sister Ava Decker. And let me just say this book was a rollercoaster of ups and downs. The way each character is written gives them so much depth that you can’t help but root for them. The authors writing is flawless and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shockingly intimate I have become a huge fan of this author. The author writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

Authors Blurb: Ava Decker has hated me for just as many years as I’ve spent loving her.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in single POV this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Ever since the first book, I’ve been waiting for the next book in this series. “Unstoppable Love” is a heartfelt, romantic and steamy enemies to lovers small town sports romance that pulled me in with Ava and Cameron’s connection.

Ava and Cameron have known each other their whole lives and have been crushing on each other for most of it. And one night when they’re younger changes everything. Fast forward several years later, Cameron and Ava are back in the same area. And Ava is still upset over that one night and Cameron is one hundred percent set on winning her back.

These two had a deep past and it was apparent right from the start. And when they finally saw each other again, it was definitely not instalove. Ava had a lot of feelings from the past from being hurt by Cameron and she didn’t make it easy for him to get immediately back into her life. Cameron was great at pushing her buttons and while it seemed somewhat immature, it was somewhat fun and helped him get through the walls she built around herself. Once they got through the feelings through the past, their connection strengthened and the chemistry sizzled. They really worked on their relationship once they are a couple, with Ava staying in her small town and Cameron playing professional football. The added drama of a key character from their past added some suspense. I loved that we get appearances from the best of the Kelley family and I can’t wait to read the rest of the siblings' stories.

Ava Decker is the little sister of Cameron Kelley’s best friend . Ava may be off limits but that doesn’t stop them from having one unforgettable, AMAZING night together right before Cameron leaves to start his college football career . But Cameron pretends like their night together never happened which has now made him enemy number one . Now 8 years later Cameron is back and he will stop at nothing until he gets his girl back .. but Ava is ready for a fight to keep her heart safe .

Wow some of the twists and turns in this book I did not see coming ! They are truly enemies to lovers and are carrying some pretty heavy baggage from their pasts . Ava is a runner and boy oh boy did she keep on trying lol but Cameron was never going to let he get too far again . I can’t wait to see what Stacey has coming our way next with the rest of the Kelley family in this cute Colorado small town .

This is book two in The Kelley Family series and it can be read as a complete stand alone .

This book was given to me for honest review by Valentine PR + Literary Management .

Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

After feeling guilty about his one-night stand with Ava, his best friend's sister, Cameron Kelley, pretends he doesn't remember their night together and leaves their small town to play college football. After eight years of Ava's resentment and Cameron's goading when they run into each other, it doesn't take long after forced proximity makes them confront their past and longing for each other.

Cameron and Ava's chemistry and banter were amazing. Their tension and spice were so well written *chef's kiss*. Cameron Kelley is a top-tier dirty talker! While this book can be a standalone, I suggest reading the first book, Unending Love, as it was nice to have the foundation and connection with the Kelley family. I am so excited to read the rest of the Kelley Family series!

Even though it has been years Ava hasn’t forgotten the way that Cameron treated her after their night together. He may have left her to pursue his dreams of playing professional football but now that he has returned looking for a second chance she wants no part of it.

After their night together Cameron believed he made the decision that was best for both of them as their futures were taking them in different directions. That doesn’t mean that he doesn’t regret what happened and how he will do whatever is necessary to prove that she can trust him with her heart.

Emotion and romance combine as Ava isn’t about to just forget what happened between her and Cameron after that night or since then but Cameron knows who he wants and he is determined to help her heal from the past so they can have a future together.

Another absolutely amazing book from Stacey. I really enjoyed how the story started off in the past and how it set up the book in the present. It made the budding relationship between Cameron and Ava more realistic to me with the struggles that they faced. And by that I mean with Ava putting her heart on the line because Cameron had totally obliterated it eight years ago.
But once they took that next step as a couple to me the story really took off. Both their families added so much to this whole story as well. Add in Cameron’s career as an NFL quarterback, plus something that involves Ava which I won’t say anything more about and what you end up with is an incredible book that I was sorry that it had to actually end.

This story was so amazing! I loved it from the start! Cameron and Ava will take over your heart, and never let it go! 5 stars for this one!
Cameron has the world at his fingertips, he's playing football and loves it, he's only got one regret, how he treated Ava all these years. When he comes home early from his trip, he finds the woman of his dreams sleeping on his couch! When he wakes her up, the fireworks start between them, but not the ones he was hoping for!
Ava just needed a place to stay for a few weeks till her new apartment would be ready, and her brother insisted Cameron was away and wouldn't be home. When Cameron wakes her up, she's surprised, and annoyed, and is ready to get out of there, but he say's he's sorry and it's ok to stay.
These two, the attraction between them is off the charts, he just needs to prove to her that he's not the jerk he's been all these years, and that she is more than unforgettable!
Grab this one asap!

ARC REVIEW

I thought this book was a sweet, easy read that really spanned the gamut of emotions. Heartbreaking in many ways, the full circle way in which Ava and Cameron came together again was compelling to see.

There was lots of tension, so much past baggage to unpack and latent trauma between them that it seemed almost impossible that they could see their way to finding each other again. But the way they overcame it all — which involved mending some deep wounds and rebuilding trust — was really heartwarming.

I appreciated that there was no third act breakup and though the plot tensions near the end really ramped up the story a lot. All in all, this was an enjoyable book and I’d definitely continue the series!

This was a quick, cute small town romance.

I fell in love with the Kelley family in book one so was very excited to continue my journey!

Ava and Cameron had one night together eight years ago and the “it’s always been you” vibes are strong in this one! Even if Ava’s love is blinded by hatred for a bit.
Cameron will do whatever it takes to prove his love for her and I love his devotion to Ava.

Pick this one up if you’re lookin for a cute:
-Best Friend’s Sibling
-Small Town Romance
-Enemies to Lovers
-Football Romance

Oh i am so sad it’s over. I’m a huge sucker for a small town romance so i was immediately hooked from the very beginning! The angst hurt so good with this enemies to lovers trope especially with each MC dealing with their own personal angst as well. We really got such a deep dive into Cameron and Ava’s relationship stemming all the way back to when they were kids. AND THE SPICEE??? Whew, I could not put this book down for the life of me. Also i love the Kelley family so very dearly and I can’t wait for the rest of the brothers stories!!

After I was lucky enough to receive the ARC for Unending Love, I was SO EXCITED to receive the ARC for Unstoppable Love and jump back into the Kelley family!

Cameron was just as sweet (& spicy 😏) as I was hoping he would be 🤭 Cam and Ava’s story was a rollercoaster I was happy to be on!

I’m convinced there’s nothing better than a protective MMC. The way Stacey weaved in their present and future with their past was so well done. You can’t help but be invested in them 🥹

A must read if you’re a fan of:
🏈 brother’s best friend
🏈 enemies to lovers
🏈 small town romance
🏈 football MMC
🏈 no third act breakup

Haven’t read Unendjng Love yet? Get to it before Unstoppable Love releases!

This is the second chance love story of MMC Cameron and FMC Ava. Cam is Ava’s brothers best friend, but she’s got a crush on Cam and wants him to be her first. After that, Cam decides that rather than being a good guy to lie to Ava and pretend he’s forgotten. Ava then goes from love to hate. But given their background and history, they are put in situations where they are forced to be in proximity to one another, which leads to verbal sparring and banter. Cam is a professional football player and still keeps close to his family, small town, and roots. Ava was feisty and spoke her mind. I didn’t spend a lot of time yelling at these characters (in my mind) to knock it off! The “heroine in peril” element seemed to be thrown into the story and I didn’t feel that it added anything.

Overall, I was entertained and listening to this audiobook helped pass the time during the day at work. That being said, the story didn’t really grab me and get me excited to get to the office (or get in the car) to listen.

ARC Review

If you love small town romance then you’ll enjoy this book. I really liked the small town aspect but it didn’t blow me away like other small town romances have.

Twists at the end of the book had me shocked and I never expected how things would turn out.

The small town aspect of the book kept me going, as at times I found the story to be a bit slow but other times the timeline just didn’t seem to make sense, Ava was so angry at Cameron but then in the next chapter everything seemed quickly forgotten.

Overall, would I read it again? Probably not, I wouldn’t however turn down another of Stacey Lynn’s books. I liked her characters and think she writes sweet stories, plus no third act breakup will always pull me in.

I would have liked the ending a little longer, to explore what happened after the twists and the epilogue to be a bit further into the future.

wow, this is for sure what a small town romance should be. I had a hard time putting it down.

she's my best friends little sister, and what I want to do to her is not something I want him to know. but let's fast forward 10 years, and ava is still the most beautiful woman and only woman I want. especially after finding her on my couch after ava breaking it off with her former boyfriend.

but let's just say this is the start of how things go for ava and Cameron, and well, the ride is just starting.

there should be a small warning if you have triggers to assult/sexual assault please take caution, but don't let that turn you off from this story. it truly is a coming of age love story even if there are a few bumps along the way

I'm sure you're going to love this one, and I can't wait to see who's next of the Kelley boys to fall head over heals in love in this small town

I have been waiting for book two in this series because I wanted to know what romance Caleb's twin Cameron's book would be like.
Unstoppable love is an ememies to lovers/best friends sister story and was an enjoyable listen.
I LOVE small town romances too they are my comfort books..Stacey Lynn did a great job at writing a captivating and interesting tale of forgiveness and second chances.
Cameron and Ava have known eachother for a long time because of Isaiah,Ava's brother and Cameron's best friend.
Cameron has been attracted to her since she was a teenager and Ava has crushed on Cameron but nothing happened between them.
Until one night when Ava snuck into Cameron's bedroom and asked him to take her V-card.
They had a passionate night together, but the following day Cameron ignored Ava and pretended that he didn't remember what had happened, because of the fear Isaiah would find out what happened between them.
Years go by were everytime they would meet they would argue and bicker and Ava now has a boyfriend Kip.
They act like they hate eachother well it more of Ava hating Cameron.
The relationship with Kip falls apart and she needs a place to stay and she ends up staying in Cameron's house...with Cameron.
But that doesn't work because when Ava discovers that Cameron lied about not remembering their night together..She leaves and runs away unable to forgive him for years of hurt.
Cameron now has to explain and trys to win back her trust and forgiveness.
I did like Cameron he is a Football star and he was so honest with his feelings and in some ways he was patient with her...But he wasn't patient with being intimate with her.
The spice between them was off the charts and Ava surprised Cameron with her willingness to be BAD in the bedroom.
Ava was a little bit childish at first but she seemed to grow in character as the book went along, and she did forgive easily. But she has also encountered something as a teenager that traumatised her,and she was finally able to confess to Cameron what happened with Jimmy, and it ties in with that unforgettable night they shared.
The Narration was fabulous from Amelie Griffin and Lance Greenfield, they performed an excellent rendition of Ava and Cameron getting all the emotions right and bringing out the character in both Ava and Cameron.
I enjoyed their storytelling it was wonderful to hear.
I am enjoying listening to this series and I am looking forward to listening to all of the Kelley siblings books.
Unstoppable Love is a sweet, romantic sexy and emotional story and I loved the ending. These two are perfect together.
Wonderful 5 Stars.

This is book two in The Kelley Family series and it is Cameron and Ava’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Ava and Cameron have history because not only have they known each other al there lives but also years ago they spent a explosive night together only for Cameron to say that it never happened and then he left for college leaving Ava behind, heartbroken, angry and vowing never to forgive him. Cameron is now a professional football player and every time that he returns to his hometown he makes Ava’s life a living hell and they get up each others backs because that is the only way that he can deal with what he said and done years ago but he never stopped loving her. Eighteen years later Cameron has come home for a break only to have a big surprise waiting for him in his house and on his couch which he definitely wasn’t expecting but determined to make things right with Ava and then hopefully he will get a chance to prove to Ava that he has changed and also how he has always been in love with her but he knows that it will not be easy. Ava has had the most amazing night of her life with the man that she had loved for years only for it to end in heartbreak and since that night years ago she has tried to avoid Cameron as much as she can when ever he comes home but today she and her parents are going to Cameron’s family ranch for a Easter gathering which Ava was dreading because she knew that she wouldn’t be able to keep out of his way because he had the habit of always finding her so that he could rile her up and make her annoyed. When Ava and Cameron eventually communicate with each other and realise that they were still both in love with each other even after all these years they decide to start a relationship that gets stronger as time goes on and they fall even more in love but will this eventually be the second chance of happiness and a future together that they both want and always deserved. Ava and Cameron’s connection and chemistry is off the charts hot and strong that sparks fly off the pages when ever they are near each other and they are so perfect for each other and together. This book will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and so much pain with everything that they had gone through and endured throughout their relationship and they had so many ups and downs and I really loved there outcome in the end. This book is a real page turner and so addictive that you will not be able to put it down and I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series.

This book was good and a nice, quick read. Eight years ago, Ava and Cameron spent one, unforgettable night together. But with getting ready to leave for college and big football dreams, Cameron thought it best to act like that night didn’t happen at all. However, when opportunity presents itself Cameron realises that there is no better time to come clean about that night and convince the girl he’s loved for years that she is his endgame.

If I’m being completely honest I liked Cameron a lot more than I liked Ava. Especially at the beginning of the book I thought she was getting mad at him for no reason 😭 I know he was meant to be perceived as ‘annoying’ and ‘rude’ but it came across more as banter which made her reactions seem immature. I understood why she wanted to keep her distance but I feel like a lot of her actions towards Cameron in the first half of the book were rash and unnecessary.

HOWEVER! Cameron might possibly be the king of communication!! Did he lie about remembering that night? Yes. But apart from that this man knew how to use his words in both the important conversations and the…more fun conversations 👀🤭 He told her what he wanted while still giving her space to figure out what she needed as well and took the initiative to have some difficult conversations with Ava that were definitely needed.

In saying that, the way Stacy Lynn handled these difficult topics I think was done really well. I like how it was emphasised the importance of reporting when something has happened no matter how “small” because it is always the “little” things that end up becoming “bigger” later on. I think she incorporated the importance of not only speaking up but starting conversations as well.

I enjoyed the second half of the book a lot more because I thought Ava and Cameron were soooo cute!! It was so domestic and I loved that. One thing I also really liked was the length of the book. I think it was the perfect length for a quick cute read without dragging anything out. I do think though that the ending was a bit abrupt but other than that I really enjoyed it!!

You should definitely read this if you like:

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧 Riveting & Emotional!

Unstoppable Love
Kelley Family, Book 2
By: Stacey Lynn
Narrated by: Amelia Griffin, Lance Greenfield

Stacey Lynn pens another winning novel, a small town enemies-to-lovers sports romance, a stand-alone set in her fabulous “Kelley Family” series. This second book of the series is just as amazing as the first book and is Cameron Kelly & Ava Decker’s story, a story that captivated my attention and tugged at my heartstrings the entire time. Ava is Cameron’s friend’s younger sister and they have secretly held crushes on one another during their high school years. Ava made a move on the night before he left for college, only to have her heartbroken after, because he left and did not recall what happened. He became a professional football player, and she moved on with someone else, but she never got past her feelings for Cameron, not for the lack of trying. Her life takes a turn after breaking up with her boyfriend when she needed to a place to stay until her new apartment was available, so her brother suggested staying at Cameron’s place since he was away at training camp. Except he shows up unexpectedly and the two have a face-to-face that was years in the making, which she is not wanting to hear, but he is determined to let her know how he felt and why he did what he did. This wonderfully written and plotted story had the perfect balance of drama, angst, some heartwarming moments, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. The characters are likable and relatable, a delight to spend time with and to fall in love with. I was rooting for these two the entire time and was happy that they got their chance to fall in love. Stacey Lynn, thank you for another fantastic story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Amelia Griffin and Lance Greenfield were fantastic voicing the characters and delivering a perfect portrayal of each. Both nailed it as the two leads, with Greenfield nailing it as Cameron, and Griffin doing the same as Ava, showcasing every aspect of their personalities, grasping their every emotion, having you feel each one. They were just as amazing performing the roles of the secondary/side characters, too. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and their performance rivets you to the story.
