Do you get defeated when someone criticizes you? Is there a secret to self-confidence? These questions are universally asked and the answers can be found in fruit. That’s right, fruit. The fruits of the Spirit make up the most beautiful, endearing, courageous and confident character. We each bear something, what kind of fruit do you bear? In Meekness, book one of the Fruits of the Spirit series, Gina explains the many ways humbling ourselves leads to immovable security and self-confidence, to joy and peace that nothing can disturb. The surest path to protection from rejection and criticism is found in humility. If we allow our hearts and minds to be watered and cultivated by God, we will be blessed beyond all measure. We will take on a confidence no one can shake, for we become more like our Creator, and that is the most wonderful character we can have. A collection of insightful thoughts and inspirational quotes, this book will challenge you to look at meekness in a whole new way.
When I was five years old my kindergarten teacher asked the class to write a poem about our favorite color. I looked up from my paper into the blue eyes of my first crush and wrote my first poem.
At ten years old I decided it was time to write a book of poetry. I wrote my poems in black marker, made copies, stapled the pages together and passed them out to whoever would take one.
In 2005 I self-published a book of my poetry with the Canadian company Trafford Publishing.
My accomplishments include a B.A. in Rhetoric/Communications from University of California, Davis and an M.A. in Education from San Francisco State.
This book taught me much about what meekness really and why God desires it for us! The only question I have is “why did THIS author write THIS book? The research I did on her talked about her life as an actress and mentioned very little about her spiritual life. The research mentioned that she grew up Catholic, had some Jewish influences and now goes to a Christian church in Hollywood. It also included the quote “ I’m all over the place right now.” In my humble opinion, those facts don’t match the person who wrote this deep insightful book. Are there 2 Gina’s?
