From the Wright Flier to the F-35, this includes the most influential and iconic aircraft of all time, and includes fascinating modern photos of restored/recreations, life size models and re-enactments. Some entries are for a "group" of aircraft (eg. The Cessnas, and Boeing Airliners, Short Flying Boats and Moths), and some aircraft of WW1 and more from WW2 feature prominently. Not a great many Soviet aircraft, just the MiG 15 and 21. The Spitfire, Hurricane, Bf 109, Mustang, B-17, Mosquito and Lancaster all make the cut, as does the Me 262.
