Open Me First: A Revelation Cove Valentine's Novella

Rate this book
Love is in the air at Revelation Cove! But Hollie Porter’s romantic Valentine’s Day plans with her hot hockey hubby hit the ice when Ryan injures his arm during practice and needs some XL TLC.

Nurse Hollie springs into action, eager to play doctor with her man. But between Ryan’s recovery, running the resort, and guests causing chaos from a few too many Cupid’s Cure cocktails, Hollie’s patience is tested. Things go from bad to super awkward when Hollie literally discovers her dad has a little somethin’-somethin’ going on in his boudoir too.

Despite the mayhem, Ryan won’t let the holiday pass without romancing his beloved. He sends Hollie on a treasure hunt around the resort, offering clever clues that lead to heartfelt gifts. But when the final present opens a new door to their future, Hollie has to decide if she’s ready to step out of this comfort zone into a grander adventure.

Spend your Valentine’s Day with Hollie and Ryan and the gang up at Revelation Cove. Just be sure to pack Band-Aids and aspirin—that Cupid is a sneaky fella.

Hollie's life usually has some sort of disaster effect in it. This time around, it's Ryan who gets hurt and Hollie runs to see how bad things are. Of course the only place to recover is Revelation Cove. With it being close to Valentine's Day, there are all sorts of things going on at the resort, often with Hollie at the middle. Most of the time things are good, but Hollie does end up with a black eye and learning/seeing far too much of her father and his paramour. Then there are cougars abound, ruining fun and getting everyone excited. All about par for course for this crowd.

"You're my Valentine, babe. Always and forever and every single day."

No one makes you laugh and swoon like Hollie and Ryan. If you adore the Revelation Cove series, you will be ecstatic for another surprise novella!

In true Hollie fashion it comes with a whole lot of laughs, near disasters and extremely embarrassing moments. If you thought Ryan was swoon-worthy before... oh my goodness your heart will overflow with how adorable and thoughtful his Valentine scavenger hunt is for Hollie. *SWOON*

I absolutely adore these characters and am overjoyed to get little surprise moments from one of my favorite series.

Another hilarious Hollie Porter story. Over the top, in a good way, Hollie is such a relatable character and I appreciate seeing the continuation of a love story- it gives me hope that my own marriage can continue to be sexy and swoony, And can I just say, well done Ryan Fielding; I kind of want to make my husband read this so he can get Valentine’s Day right next year, lol.

This is the perfect short read that hits all the rom com feels with a group of characters I care about.

This mini-novella is like icing on a cupcake- the perfect sweet little topping to a great series!

I loved being back in revelation cove with these characters- I’d say that this is author Eliza Gordon at her finest: witty banter, sassy, spicy, and some awesome west coast goodness.

Read the whole series- then dive into these novellas… and then keep asking for more!

Always good for a giggle Holly continues to make us smile with a Valentine’s Day adventure. Between Ryan coming home temporarily, the holiday weekend packages, her adorable niece and her father there is never a quiet moment for Hollie. But Ryan makes a huge effort for the holiday and guys should take notes.
