Single Dads in a Small Town

Rate this book
Living with three bosses who I can't resist might be my downfall. Hired as the new nanny, I work for three men committed to raising their best friend's orphaned daughter. I have a past filled with struggles, but now I’m living in lavish surroundings with a very unconventional family. I love the little girl as if she were my own. And the men? They awaken passions I never knew existed. With his strong presence, Flint anchors me, his intensity igniting unexpected feelings. Pike, a sizzling hot artist, speaks volumes in silence. His fierce protectiveness draws me in deeper than anticipated. Caden’s easygoing nature offers a reprieve from the complexities of life. But when we’re alone, he pushes boundaries I thought were unbreakable. But good things don’t always last. I’m caught in their world, placing me at the center of a storm. Hidden agendas and unspoken truths emerge, and I find myself in a heart-pounding dilemma.

I loved Single Dads in a Small Town. Aspen can’t believe her new nanny job, for three men and the child they are guardians of, it’s too overwhelming but she can’t say no. Especially after meeting Lily. Flint, Caden and Pike’s lives are a mess. Aspen brings a sense of calm to all of them that they have been missing. Unfortunately, someone is trying to take Lily and Aspen has a secret that may come out. I loved the storyline and the characters. Each man has his own issues and their stress is causing problems but Aspen calming presence is benefiting everyone. I would definitely recommend this book.

Single Dads in a Small Town by Molly Eden was beautiful story with these single dad's having this beautiful love for a child that they cared for even when they thought otherwise with their prior relationships. It was beautiful to see them finding themselves and learning to enjoy life after falling head of over heals with their daughter's nanny. It was love at first sight, but they need to learn to find themselves and learn to live life again.

The Missing Piece They Weren’t Expecting

This was a sweet & spicy story full of entertaining drama. Our story starts with Aspen getting a job as a nanny for 3 men who are guardians to a 4 year old little girl, Lily. Aspen is amazing at her job, and soon Lily isn’t the only one who thinks that the nanny is the best thing that ever came into their home. Lily’s 3 guardians find themselves quickly falling under her spell too. We have Flint, the serious workaholic who takes on everybody’s problems. Caden, the deeply emotional cinnamon roll daredevil, who feels things more deeply & is more serious than people realize. Then there’s Pike, the brooding artist who’s not a fan of people, but soon realizes how big of a muse he has in Aspen. Unfortunately, things take a serious turn when a long lost family member shows up wanting custody of Lily. It doesn’t take long for the stress of possibly losing their little girl to take a toll on everyone. Aspen knows things will never work out that way though. Her biggest priority is keeping her new family safe AND together. They all have one common goal, doing what’s best for Lily, no matter what, and that’s exactly what they do! You won’t see that ending coming 👀🤯 I kind of guessed some of what came out, but not all of it. It was the perfect twist 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 An entertaining read with plenty of spice, a wide range of emotions, just the right amount of drama to keep the plot steadily moving, and a story that centers around showing just how much found family can mean to a person. When you’ve found where you’re meant to be, you’re willing to fight for that family, no matter what it takes. Don’t hesitate to grab this heartwarming story ❤️

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and found myself laughing so much during the reading of it. Aspen is a nanny who gets a job with three men, Pike, Flint and Camden, to look after their daughter, Lily. Lily is a delightful four-year-old who calls all three men papa as she has been raised by all three of them since her parents passed, they need Aspen to look after her so that they can get on with doing what they need to do so that they can give Lily the life that she needs. Suddenly a cousin shows up and wants custody of the child and Papa Flint feels that the only way that they can make sure that she is forever in their lives is to adopt Lily, just when they think that everything is going fine, the cousin starts legal proceedings, then makes Aspen think about the upbringing and conception of Lily, they do a DNA test and find out that Pike is her father, which then enables them to go onto live happily ever after as a complete family. There is a lot of heat between the four adults and a lot of love for a little girl who means the world to all involved.

The writing itself wasn’t terrible. It was honestly fine. But at no point did any of the characters become better people. There was almost no growth in any relationship, and when the “I love yous” came about I was genuinely surprised. At no point did it feel like a group of people in love. And holy mother of plot holes, what judge in their right mind would allow guardianship of a toddler to a bunch of guys who don’t even live together and who collectively have less time than the rabbit from Alice in wonderland? I got this book for free on stuff your kindle day and my expectations are usually pretty low for those. This book didn’t even attempt the limbo. I feel like if the author went about some of the twists and turns in this book a little differently, it would have been so much better. I’m giving two stars, but know it’s actually one and a half stars and the half is wearing lifts and stuffs its bra with tissues.

Aspen desperately needs a job and is willing to relocate to become a Nanny to a young girl who lives with three men. Flint, Caden and Pike are three highly successful rich men who are the guardians of this child. Aspen finds herself attracted to all three men and before you know it they have all acted on this attraction. But unfortunately as they try to figure out their relationship there are other things going on. A long lost relative suddenly wants to meet the child. Aspen has a secret she hasn’t told the men about. Can this relationship work with all the strikes against them? This story was interesting and engaging. I liked how each man had a different personality and attitude but yet they all seemed to care for Aspen

1 star and a half

I didn't expect much, and I received even less.
The story starts with Aspen, a young nanny with a "big secret" who is hired by three mens to became the nanny of their warded daughter (and this is already pretty strange). There's no growth between the charachters, they simply start to fooling around togheter. No depth in the story, the "problems" are total BS and for 3/4 of the book I was totally bored and desperate to end it.
I tought of giving 1 star, but at least the writing per se wasn't horrible.

Special mention goes to this bit:
"You're a good man, Pike Hartley. With all your talent, compassion- and sexiness, too!" the FMC says right after one of the MMC spokes about an ex who ended her life after mentally abusing him. Well done girl.

3.5 Stars

Aspen Palco is a young woman on the way to a job interview for a nanny job. She had grown up in the ‘system’ for children who are orphans and never get adopted. She loves kids and enjoys working with them. This job is something a little different though. There is one little girl and three dads, Flint, Pike and Caden. No, it’s not based on that old ‘80’s movie. The three dads are all good friends, and they all have custody of Lily, the daughter of two friends that died in a car accident. The gentlemen need a nanny because they are all very busy and can’t quite manage to spend enough time with her and get their work done too.

I tend to like reading Reverse Harem stories by different authors though I haven’t read anything from Author Molly Eden before. The dads are, of course, millionaires…billionaires. They have done a background check on Aspen, Lily likes her, and things start well. There are two major issues that pop up, one having to do with Lily and the other to do with Aspen. I did like this story and Ms. Eden’s storytelling pace was excellent. The reason I am giving this 3.5 Stars is that I don’t feel that the dad characters are as well written as I’d like them to be. They were entertaining and all, but I just wanted to know a little more about them.

What a great read.

This has angst in it but not where the FMC is debating if what she is doing is wrong or if she should walk away.

This has OW drama but NOT in relation to the FMC and MCs relationship… she probably could have tried to use it against them though.

There is a bright little girl that 3 grown men will do anything for and a Nanny who becomes more and is the glue that keeps them together.

A bunch of giggles …
Men catering to a little girls whims…
Hot steamy times …

A family being created….

When Aspen accepts a nanny position, she had no idea what was instore or the feelings that would develop between her and the three dads. This intriguing story kept me glued to Aspen and her three dads and all the drama surrounding them. It is a heartfelt story filled with warmth and love for a little girl and the woman that became her nanny.

Secrets, learning to accept and willing to open one’s hearts. This story is filled with all the feels, struggles and ultimately a HEA.

This is just what I needed. Laughing and reading is a good mix right? Well this is just that. Pike, Flint and Camden do their best in raising their daughter, Lily. Aspen now comes for a job interview and she knows a lot through experience being in the system herself. She loves working with kids so now it is just one and three guys. So now things are bound to happen right? Good one but I do think the dads could be a little bit better in character development but otherwise a good story.

Single Dads in a Small Town is a reverse harem novel that leaves you with a feeling of unexpected love. These three men love deeply and protect fiercely not just the woman they share but also the child they are devoted too. An easy-to-read, passion filled novel with a HEA.

This was a good storyline and I’m giving this a 3.5/5 for now. Though I enjoyed the storyline, it was instant lust to instant love with very little development in relationships. I wanted to see more relationship building between them and when it happened, it was very brief. Overall, fast read and cute story.
