This is an easy read but with subtle impact. It helps us rethink how we live overall but especially how we live with the elderly. It makes perfect sense, we get it deep in our soul. It can be so hard to slow down in our culture but it is so life-giving. Spending time with very young and elderly force us to slow down and if we are present to build important relationships that have eternal meaning. Those days of truly relating are those days that we treasure.

Fabulous gem of a book! William has used a story or parable to tell the his and his wife's story to envision and create the Eden Alternative, where we can be kind and inclusive to our precious elders. A huge shift.
