I really enjoyed this book as far as it goes. It gives a lot of great doctrinal and practical help to communicants. The only problem is that it says little about what it is to spiritually partake of the body and blood of Christ. You could be forgiven for thinking that the author was a memorialist, though that would be a mistaken reading as he does recognise that it is more than a memorial. The problem is more one of emphasis.
