The Talking Room, a small collection of poems, is B. Medina's first book. This collection is not only written in English and Spanish, but also takes free verse to another experimental level. B. Medina treats conventional punctuation, capitalization, and typographical arrangements as poetical components fully capable of artful manipulation. Unlike other forms of poetry, B. Medina's pieces, perhaps, are more fully appreciated visually examined rather than solely read aloud.
