This Arthur Ellis Award winning account of the bizarre saga of Helmuth and Hanna Buxbaum was a fascinating read. Despite what looked like it was going to be a rather long book, the pages seemed to turn themselves as Harris walked his readers through the strange personality of Helmuth and the impact that it had on his family. This is far more complex than a simple story of a man hiring someone to kill his wife, it is the sex, drugs, religion, money, brain disorders, legal legends and murder.
