This version is designed as a kid's introduction but gives a good brief history of Rachel, her family background and work, including published books

This was a very informative read for my daughters Scientist of the Month featuring the remarkable Rachel Carson. We had read several other books but I noticed this one provided the largest quantity of additional information for her scientist summary paper. The layout is done well with lovely photographs, interesting facts highlighted in the margins, quotes and a detailed timeline.
