The Gift for All People is a celebration of God's gift of salvation wrapped in a collection of inspirational stories. These stories will help Christians comprehend and treasure the assurance of their salvation and will help non-Christians realize and embrace the gift of abundant, eternal life in Jesus Christ. The concluding story, written especially for this book, urges readers to give their lives to Jesus Christ and shows them how to do so. This book will provide Christians with a unique, warm, and attractive presentation of the gospel to give to non-Christian family or friends.
More than anything, God wants you to be with Him. The God who designed your world, the God who placed you on the planet, simply wants you home with Him. And to bring you home, He offers you a gift...the gift of eternal salvation.
My prayer is that through the pages of this book you'll see his gift like you've never seen it.
If you've already accepted it, you'll thank Him again. And if you've never accepted it, I pray that you will. For it's the gift of a lifetime. A gift for all people.

Farewell, manger's Infant. Bless You, Holy Ambassador. Go home, Death Slayer. Rest well, Sweet Soldier. The battle is over.
~ quote from pages 68-69, (some capitalization added by me)
Deep, yet simplistic. Relatable and personal. Touching, encouraging, and inspiring. Ahh, this book was amazing. <3
Max Lucado paints the story of salvation and the majesty of the old rugged cross in such a way that I found myself considering things I'd never thought of on my own. He speaks of grace and redemption in ways so clear and personal, it caused me to sit back and ponder -- to have a deeper awe of Christ's sacrifice.
One thing that did bother me was that pronouns were not capitalized when referencing Jesus or God. This isn't the first book I've read that's like that, but seeing as how I'm used to His Name always being capitalized, it stood out to me.
All the way around this was an amazing, thought-provoking book. I definitely recommend it and I really need to read more of Lucado's books. :)
**I received a free copy of this book from Blogging for Books in exchange for this honest review.**
This may be a small book in length, but it is so full of promises and reminders of what Christ sacrificed for us. “The Gift For All People” is aptly titled as Max Lucado takes up through various scriptures to illustrate what that important gift was and what it means to all humans. Many have accepted that gift. but it does not mean that a book like this does not have any new messages. It reminds up of what a wonderful gift God gave us through his son. This book would be a great devotional book as most of the chapters are only a page or two and give the reader many things to think about. It also gives many scripture references that the reader can follow up with. Lucado's writing is very lyrical and easy to read. A great book for any Christian or someone who is exploring Christianity.
I love this author, what ever he writes, I want to read. What a beautiful different way Max uses words. This may be a small book in length, but it is so full of promises and reminders of what Christ has done for us. The title, “The Gift For All People” is unequivocally perfect. Through out the chapters Max paints word pictures to help us better understand what “The Gift” was that Christ gave us. Many, like me have excepted that gift. But some times we grow lax and need to be reminded. Max has been blessed with a unique gift for sharing God's word in a wonderful thought provoking way. This book can take you to gut wrenching lows and emotional highs. But if you read it with an open heart, you will cherish each moment and be changed by it. “The Gift For All People” would make a great devotional book. The chapters are short enough, but deep enough to take one at a time. You do not want to rush through it. It's a book you will want to read over and over. It would make a great gift to give for any occasion. There are so many wonderful quotes, I could highlight the entire book. But one of my favorite quotes from Max, “If there's a tree in heaven, He's carved your name in the bark. We know He has a tattoo, and we know what it says, “I have written your name on my hand,” he declares in Isaiah 40:16.” I would highly recommend purchasing this book. But do not buy one, buy another for a friend. They will thank you for it. I am reviewing a copy of The Gift for All People through Multnomah and Netgalley:
This book is a celebration of God's gift of salvation told in a series of inspirational stories. These stories will help Christians comprehend and treasure the assurance of our Salvation and it will help non believers to realize and embrace the gift of abundant eternal life in Jesus Christ.
The concluding story in this book urges non believers to give their hearts to Christ. This book would make a wonderful gift for Christians to give to their friends and loved ones who are not believers.
We are reminded too that Jesus knows how we feel whether we are struggling at work or dealing with family issues.
This book reminds us too that more than anything God wants us to be with him. The God who designed your world, the God who put you here wants you home with him. And to bring you home, he offers you the eternal gift of Salvation.
I give The Gift of All People five out of five stars.
The Gift For All People Starts off with an amazing word for You - it says "how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. And" Romans 10:15 and" now that is the best way to start off the book - or any book for that matter. It talks about GOD about my GOD who pursues me - who wants me - who longs to be with me." surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and will I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalms 23:6 " and isn't that what you want? GOD pursuing you who wants you? This book is unreal - I love it. I received a copy of this book from the Publisher and Netgalley; all of the opinions expressed in this review are all my own.

Had Jesus been forced to nail himself to the cross, he would have done it. For it was not the soldiers who killed him, nor the screams of the mob; it was his devotion to us. So call it what you wish: An act of grace. A plan of redemption. A martyr's sacrifice. But whatever you call it, don't call it an accident. It was anything but that.
A small devotion of the gifts we have in Christ. The gifts of mercy, grace, salvation and of himself. Each short chapter reminds us how he pursues us even when we don't recognize him. It also serves as a reminder of the goodness of God that we can be so blind to.
I am very thankful for this book and how it ministers to the weary.
A Special Thank you to WaterBrook & Multnomah and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.
*A Gift for All People* by Max Lucado is a heartwarming collection of devotionals and reflections that center on the profound love and grace of God. Lucado masterfully captures the essence of the gospel, reminding readers that God's gift of salvation is available to everyone, regardless of their past or present circumstances. With his signature blend of storytelling, scripture, and personal insight, Lucado offers encouragement and hope, making this book a comforting reminder of God's unfailing love. Ideal for personal reflection or as a gift, this short yet impactful work is a beautiful celebration of grace and redemption.
This book was really good and very inspirational. This book is a collection of important points made from other books by Max Lucado in short sections that are very easy to read. This book would be a great devotional book as most of the chapters are only a page or two and give the reader many things to think about. I enjoyed reading this book, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to grow closer to God and wants to better understand the gift that He gave to all people by sending His son to die on a cross for all of the world's sins.
One of my To-do list was to read a book that would make me look at the world differently. I was never a fan of religion, so I thought, Hey, I need something short and sweet, something that is not trying to sell me Christianity. And this was it. Mr Lucado was able to take a religion at its core and break it down into relatable and engaging short stories. It didn't felt forced, I may not personally dwelve in religion but this book has made me more accepting of those who do.
Max Lucado is well known for his ability to combine scholarly wisdom with everyday stories as a means of emphasizing and encouraging people to embrace all that God has for us.
The Gift For All People focuses on the wonder of God's grace. Through anecdotes and scripture, Lucado provides an uplifting message to those who need encouragement, and a reminder how God is always there for those who might become so busy with life, this wonder is momentarily set aside.
I received this book from Net Galley and all opinions are my own. I love this author and anything he writes. This is a short book but it packs a powerful punch. It begins with the Verse from Romans 10:15 How Beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. The book is well written and you can easily get it read in a days time. Short stories collected from Max's experience and focusing on grace.
Max Lucado always helps you see the things that you don’t even know that you are looking for. Here he is speaking about Grace but it is done in a way that is short and sweet. You can read this each day a little at a time and just reflect and then maybe throughout the day something you read will take hold of what you read and it will make sense. That was the way it was for me and it is for most of his books. I found this to be a good read. I received this book from Netgalley.com
I absolutely love this author! He manages to teach about faith in ways that are easy to understand. This book may not be long but it is packed with wisdom and amazingly touching stories. It teaches about the gift of grace and salvation that Jesus offers us all. He paints such amazing word pictures to help us really understand scripture. There are so many wonderful quotes that I almost wanted to highlight the entire book.
Small in size, but very commanding. Inspriing using very quick chapters. This book proves you do not have to have hundreds of pages to reach a multitude. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publsiher for the ARC of this book in return for my honest review.
As a compilation of "greatest hits" from earlier books, I found this one difficult to read, and not very fitting as a devotional. It seemed like many of the daily readings were incomplete thoughts. Several lacked any specific biblical reference. This is definitely not one of Lucado's best works.
Fans of Lucado will enjoy this brief devotional and may decide to share it with others who are interested in finding out more about Christianiy. Last chapter is the Gospel presented in simple terms. Some will find this very helpful.
The short chapters lend the reader a great opportunity to read one chapter and meditate on it each day. This small book offers the reader to experience how much God loves us and wants us with him on this journey called life and to accept His gift of eternal salvation.
What Mr. Max Lucado is urging everyone to accept Jesus as their Savior. in all of his books and l have read A lot of his book. This book was no different from the rest, but it was too short!! Still a good and timely message put Jesus in your life.
What an inspiring book that lit my soul on fire. On fire to become a better person, on fire to be a child of God, and on fire because God gives us free will and I am choosing to belong to him forever...amen.
