It was quite an enjoyable read! Anthony Horvath seems like a really nice guy too. I decided to read it initially since I am a superfan of a musician I would like to see reach greater success, TK from Ling tosite sigure.
He's the greatest guitarist that has ever lived most people just don't know it yet.
My job as his superfan is to get his name out there. This provided me with more insight on how to make it happen.
A quick read packed with useful tips for the adoring supporters of indie authors & artists. I'm going to have to figure out how to fax w/o a land line! This also sparked two ideas, one involving authors teaming up to be each other's Superfans on heavily syndicated places like Examiner.com, and another involving adding local media contacts as subscribers to a local author's press release newsletter (with the option to unsubscribe, obviously). More great ideas in the book :)
Outstanding "how to" book for writers and artists. Horvath encourages and instructs in how to navigate the clutter of the writing/publishing world. A quick read that leaves you believing it can be done.
