This is a book about developing more peace and happiness in your life and connecting better to the world. Divided into 3 sections corresponding to Peace, Power, and Purpose, the book does offer interesting and helpful insights into how to overcome suffering in our lives. The most valuable aspect concerns his section on emotional intelligence (Peace) and the others are sort of rehashes of those ideas. The book needs better editing, and I didn't enjoy how sentimental and New Agey it reads, but it does contain some wisdom to take away.

This didn’t really hit the mark for me however there was a fascinating segment about birth trauma and its potential long-lasting affects (i.e. anxiety / depression). Just for that chapter, I’d recommend reading it.

A bit nihilist, but still serves to the purpose of raising some interesting reflections.

“If you live for truth and love, you will be provided for” – The Freemind Experience

There are many self-help books that promise a sure-fire way to create happiness and contentment in your life. The premise of this book is in that case no different.

Written in a conversational style, this book did not create a different experience for me, than the masses that already overflow the genre of self-help books in their various forms. In order to stand out, an Author has to deliver something either new, or in such an interesting style that it gets the reader’s attention from the beginning, while this book only produces a smile and a yawn, as the Author shares through many – and not very interesting stories – how he teaches his clients and himself to become a better version of himself.

Instead of creating happiness and contentment, I was left with the feeling of having lost precious time, I could have used in a more productive way, then reading this book. If you are looking for a high quality, and informational wake up call, to serve the reader to better understand oneself and to grow through that experience, you are better off reading a different book of this genre. There are many of them out there, this is not one of them.

Given To Me For An Honest Review

The Freemind Experience by Tom Fortes Mayer is a must read. It is a page turner and as those pages turn before you know it you will be at the end of the book.
It gives three pillars of what is needed for all lasting happiness and success to be built. The first pillar is PEACE (emotional intelligence and deprogramming fear) - this is when one needs to let go of what's holding you back in order to go forward. The second pillar is POWER (success psychology) - this helps you learn how to relate to life in new ways. The third pillar is PURPOSE (unconditional love) - teaches you how to enjoy everything that matters most.
With these three pillars one can live a life filled with happiness, satisfaction and love unconditionally. This is a book that can be re-read and re-read again. It would look good in any bookshelf. I recommend this book to everyone. I look for more from Tom Fortes Mayer.

Mindfulness, positive psycholgy, being present in the moment, re-parenting, etc.etc. As would Remarque say: Im Westen nichts Neues.

Mindfuless, psicologia positiva, essere presenti nel momento, rigenitorializzazione, etc.etc. Come direbbe Remarque: Niente di nuovo sul fronte occidentale.
