With a serial killer on the loose, Langham and Oliver have their work cut out finding him before he kills again…
Detective Langham has had a case on his desk for a while, but there have been no clues, no leads, and no damn break to help him find a serial killer. That is, until his psychic lover, Oliver, hears the voice of someone he knows—a woman he works with at the local newspaper who has been abducted. When the woman is dumped in the stream, with the readers thinking she’s dead, Langham decides to goad the killer via a press release and put one of his female sergeants out there as bait. He can only hope his team remain vigilant as the time draws near for them to catch the killer…
David is that killer. After growing up in a dysfunctional household, he has very important reasons for abducting then killing women. He’s on a personal journey, intent on understanding why he does what he does—why he enjoys dressing in women’s clothing sometimes and why he doesn’t have sexual feelings for either gender. With his doll, Sally, by his side, David is convinced he will find the answers he seeks…
Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of violence and abduction, descriptions of crime scenes, and the perspective of a serial killer, which some readers might find distressing.
Publisher's Note: This book was previously released at another publisher. It has been revised, re-edited and given a new title for re-release.
Sarah Masters is one of three pen names I write under. Sarah mainly writes m/m. Natalie Dae writes het erotica, while the third, Charley Oweson, writes thriller/horror/suspense books with no sex.
Keeping by Sarah Masters Book 3 in the Voices Series Damn have I told you how HOT Oliver and Langham are? I about burnt my fingers reading about these two at the end of this story. Ok, so in this story we have a crazy, psycho killer killing woman because he is all jacked up in his head. He had a rough childhood and it carried into his adulthood. He does make one mistake though. He ends up taking a friend of Oliver’s and that just doesn’t happen! Oliver discovers that he can also talk to people who are still living when they are in trouble. Kinda scary but how awesome would that be. Anyways if Oliver and Langham are on the case you know that it is going to be solved. There may be some deaths on the way but these men are really good together. This was another great story by Sarah. How does she come up with the crazies for her stories? I have no idea but I am ready for the next book in this series called Aching. I received this book as a gift from the author.
