Sex for the Soul humbly aims to go where no book of Tantra has gone before. For those who know nothing about Tantra, this book is bound to profoundly change your life. For those who have started down the path, it will deepen and enhance your knowledge. This perfect system – conceived with so much insight and wisdom thousands of years ago – is presented in a practical, step-by-step approach that guides newcomers as well as more experienced practitioners to reach a coherent understanding of sexual Tantra. Sex for the Soul reveals all the tips and secrets to realize accurate practice, the remarkably multiorgasmic horizons that await, and Tantra’s exceptional potential for health, healing, and higher consciousness. While in today's environment of neo-Tantra, the spiritual aspects of this system have become lost and superseded by the spectacular sexual results of tantric practice, Sex for the Soul does not waver from its commitment to a sacred approach that honors the revelations of the authentic Indian and Tibetan tantric traditions. This book – supplemented with many personal testimonials – guides the reader through the ins and outs of all aspects of fundamental principles, energy and its control, sexology, men's and women's issues, individual training and techniques, relationships, lifestyle, tantric massage, and much more. Genuine in his commitment to share this lineage with modern seekers, Somananda Moses Maimon provides readers with one of the most comprehensive books available on this subject. You are hereby invited to explore the mysteries of Tantra – an invitation to discover the soul-touching depths of your own being and the beautiful heights of ecstasy accessible to everyone.
Somananda is the main student of Swami Vivekananda Saraswati, ex guru of Agama that is now closed down after too many women accused him of rape. Somananda is accused also. Full story here: https://medium.com/@bescofield/women-...
Tantra on tantra.
They cooperate with a spiritual institution and Somananda Tantra School sells them in bundles.
Applicants must first take "Taste of Tantra" before they can apply for "Tantric Remote Energy Healing Therapist Training "
In "Taste of Tantra", only do 2 simple meditations and experience "Tantric Remote Energy Healing" Somananda has been boasting about it. Sincerely, only a tiny flow of energy is felt (obviously felt in many other distant energy systems, and most of the students don't feel it when it comes to his "tantra energy")
They also boast that only their school is the only correct way to learn spirituality, and you can study for more than ten years until the end of your life before they can ascend. (very typical brainwashing sales)
I enrolled in both courses from the beginning, Somananda cancelled the course 2 days before the distance tantra class due to the insufficient number of students.
Originally it counted as a refund, but later I found out that Somananda forced the institution to pay them over price for the "Taste of Tantra", because the course was cancelled, I researched a lot of about Somananda Tantra School, it only charges 95-115 euros for the "Taste of Tantra", but it becomes more than 4XX euros at the partner institution.
After they got the money & finished the "Taste of Tantra" class and cancel "Tantric Remote Energy Healing Therapist Training" directly.
I hope no more people will be deceived in the future.
I like this book for being really down to earth and simple to follow even for the people who have no previous knowledge about spirituality. Author explains ancient terms and provides understanding that spirituality could and should be a normal part of our everyday life, not something only view holy people practice.
Thanks for pointing out two crucial things for me. Firstly, that tantra is all about admiring feminine aspect of the creation and women. Secondly, that people, especially men with sexual dysfunction become evil. I believe this is exactly the kind of book the world craves for right now!
While the book itself is an introductory piece, I have to admit that I am left with a sense of frustration with it. I personally would have wanted to see more quotation of sacred text, to put it into better context. I would have also like to see better integration, as to how others who already have a core spiritual framework could apply the subject within their own traditions instead of limiting it. More direction at the end of the book as to what a person could do next, would have been helpful also. Some people simply may not have the ability/means to find a guru and start work. So yes, as good as the book was, I think it could have been better.
