This is the last book in the Maclaughin series. I think this is the best . Lizzys is one tough cookie and Ethan is her hot ex military man turned FBI recruit. . They are young and ln love with each other . But poor lizzy has a secret and Ethan has some darkness in his past . Will true live survive.
I think that Krystal saved the best god last . You really feel for these two and you feel sadness when Lizzy tells Ethan her news. You cheer for them and weep for them . The ending s so good I didn't want it to end . So if you want a great series of books check out the Maclaughin series . You won't be disappointed

This is the 4th and sadly last book in the Maclaughin series and in my opinion the best. Lizzy is a beautiful, strong, sassy woman with a painful secret. Ethan is a hot, caring, drool-worthy man who is determined to protect the woman he loves. Will Lizzy’s secret break them up or will Ethan’s past destroy their future? This was a great, quick read and I found myself invested in the couple right away. I highly recommend this series; my only complaint is that it ended too soon.

This was a wonderful ending to a great series. Lizzy was such a sweet young lady who has fallen in love with Ethan, the FBI heart throb.
They show that true love can withstand almost anything. I really enjoyed this book and I love how all the characters in the series were included. It will make you laugh, make you cry and having you sitting on the edge of your seat. A wonderful novella that I highly recommend.

booklovin(dot)blogspot(.)com Lizzy , oh beautiful as a secret that might destroy her love with Ethan , and Ethan yummy , sexy Ethan loves her but he also his hiding something. Can they over come what they are both hiding from each other? Or will it divide them apart. Wonderful , amazing, remarkable, Krystal has done it again and again and again and yes AGAIN with Lizzy! Great ending to this wonderful Family series.

Lizzy and Ethan. This one is on Goodreads by Krystal Shannan, but I bought it on Kindle by Emma Roman. Just FYI.
Anyways, Really short sweet romance with a bit of action and a little tear-jerking. It was very predictable in a 'well written', 'satisfying' way. At the start Ethan and Lizzy are already an item but haven't quite come out as a couple to her family. His family is something to avoid, but unfortunately that may not be possible.

Good read
For being a short book it was a complete story that flowed well. Takes up with an established romance in its early stages, add in a couple of secrets on both sides and it’s pretty good. Couple of typos but otherwise good read.

Lizzy A MacLaughlin novella
I was given this book to read and give an honest review I have read this series and enjoyed all the book, but this one is my favorite.
Lizzy is the sister of 3 brothers all of which I feel made her into the person she is. Lizzy is a sweet, smart person and has been seeing Ethan as her love interest for awhile . The way the author has written this series it is not a must to read all of them . Each carries it own story, but I suggest you do read the series because this is a great family and each book is about a different member of the family , and is nice to follow the brothers and their life. With all her brothers getting married or in serious relationship Lizzy has been following her goals, but is head over heels for Ethan. He has been in and out of the picture for a while but seems now this relationship has come to a point where happy ever after is in the picture. BUT Lizzy and Ethan have secrets that stand to make this relationship go adrift. Will they overcome and have happy ever after ??????? The story line of this book is very potent, there is humor and a good storyline but still made me cry . Please check out this book and the whole series , it is so worth reading I give it 5 stars

The fourth novella in the MacLaughlin Family series is an emotionally moving romance that captures the heart.
Lizzy MacLaughlin’s secret caused the last man to leave without a word, now, utterly in love she hopes her relationship with retired army ranger Ethan Hart won’t end the same way. With warring schedules making time together precious, Ethan’s taking Lizzy for a weekend getaway at his grandfather’s cabin. But Ethan’s past is coming hell-bent on destroying what Ethan hold’s dear.
This fast paced plot grabs a hold of the reader and doesn’t let go. The vivid imagery, details and wonderful characters bring this romantic drama to life. The reader can’t help but get caught up emotionally in the unfolding drama and the author causes a few quite a few tears as well as smiles throughout. The romance is hot and the sex scenes steamy, and the action and drama of this romance keeps the reader on edge.
I don’t know exactly how Krystal Shannan packs so much punch into such a short novella, but I was totally caught up in the story and couldn’t put it down. I have read each of the four novellas and I must say that this is my favorite, even if she did make me cry.

This is the final book in the MacLaughlin family series and I can say without a doubt that the best was saved for last. This is quite a terrific read.
The characters were quite realistic. It was quite easy to relate to Lizzy as it relates to the secret she was keeping from Ethan. She was a bit fearful to tell Ethan her secret as the last guy she dated left her because of it.
It is clear from the get go that Ethan was totally and completely in love with Lizzy and he was not afraid to let her know it. He was not afraid to show is sensitive side. There were a few emotional moments that may have you reaching for some tissue.
I loved how the author incorporated the action scene. It was quite unexpected but it fit into the story quite neatly.
If you are looking for a short yet exciting read then look no further. Just like the other books in the series this is a definite must read.

Lizzy is Krystal Shannan's fourth novella in her MacLaughlin Family series. Each book can be read as a stand alone book.
I have enjoyed all the books in the MacLaughlin Family series but I must say Lizzy is my new favorite in the series. Lizzy is the sister of the three brothers in the previous three books. Lizzy met her current boyfriend Ethan in the previous books so this novella is different in that it doesn't start with new love...boy meets girl, etc. Ethan and Lizzy have already been dating for around six months. I actually enjoyed that. Krystal Shannan wrote a great story so I didn't feel like I was missing anything by not reading about their first meeting, date, etc. The author is excellent at packing in so many great details in a small space (novella format). Just amazing! I don't want to spoil the story so I will just say I loved it and a tissue or two might be needed. Highly recommend!

Two words... I cried.
I was fortunate enough to be given an ARC of Lizzy by the author in exchange for an honest review and I do mean fortunate. Having read the previous books in the MacLaughlin Family series I was already vaguely familiar with Lizzy. She does not make a very big appearance in the previous books, so if you have not read then, no worries. She does however dominate this book.
Lizzy begins with a bit of humor and playfulness between Lizzy and Ethan. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so I'll leave it at that. But things get very serious, very quickly. Shannan managed to fit a whole lot of story into a small amount of pages, yet the story itself does not suffer for it. This story spoke to me in a way no other ever has before. The emotional and heartrending topic will touch many readers and I hope everyone loves this book as much as I did.
Fair warning... make sure to have a book of tissues handy before you begin.

Book 4 in the MacLaughlin Family Series is Lizzy's story. This one was my favorite. It was another short, erotic story, but it also had a lot of action in it, and I love that.
Lizzy is the sister of the very protective MacLaughlin men. She is sweet, strong, spunky and fun. And she is inlove with Ethan. Ethan is an ex military man that now works for the FBI. He is a very strong, but caring character, and he is inlove with Lizzy. Lizzy has a secret that she needs to share with Ethan. Ethan has a past that comes back to haunt him. But together they can make it through anything.

This is the 4th and final book of the MacLaughlin series and this is Lizzy MacLaughlin's story. She's in love with her brothers friend, Ethan Hart and doesn't have any easy time of it, between three protective brothers and a secret she harbors and knows she's going to have to tell Ethan. Ethan Hart is an ex-Army sniper and is now in the FBI and is so in love with Lizzy and they manage to get some time together despite the overprotective brothers. He has a secret too and his will cause problems. However, they will survive despite everything. This story was the best of all of them between the twists and turns, the suspense, drama and hot romance. This one even made me cry some and you'll have to find out for yourself the outcome. I'm so sorry this series has come to an end - I just loved this family and so will you.

I absolutely loved this book... Lizzy is the fourth and last novella in the MacLaughlin Series. This book personally touched my heart and Dammit Krystal Shannan made me cry as I can relate to Lizzy.
Lizzy one strong lady and is the only girl of the MacLaughlin Clan which means she is much loved and have those who want to protect her. She has a heart breaking secret and Ethan is the perfect hero for her, in every way. He easily accepts her secret but knows that their could be something else going on with her.
There is so much that happens in this book I have a hard time not spoiling it. Lizzy will invoke every feeling you have, desire, anger, fear, sadness, happiness and love.

This is my favorite of the series. It is also the last story, I highly recommend reading this after the first three for better understanding and appreciation. Although, these stories stand on their own.
What to say about Lizzy? Her story is, in my opinion, a powerful one in many ways. There is just so much in this short story. For me this was an emotional story and even after reading it more than once, I still find tears in my eyes by the end. Very unusual for me. Lizzy and Ethan are so good together.

The fourth book in the MacLaughlin series is Lizzy's story. She falls in love with her brothers friends friend Ethan and she has a secret that may just tear them apart like it has every other relationship she has had but Ethan is hiding things from Lizzy as well. What happens when the truths come out and the past catches up to them is absolutely heart stopping. This story had me in tears sad and happy ones this is by far my favorite of this series.

I received this book for an honest review from the author. Lizzy and Ethan can't seem to get enough of each other. Even at her brother's wedding they sneak off for a quickie in the closet. Both have things in their past that could either make or break them. Can they trust each other enough to let them in? Will Lizzy's issues affect whether or not Ethan wants her in his life. Same goes for Ethan, what happens when his bad to the bone half-brother shows up. Will they survive?

Krystal Shannan can sure write emotional romances. I thought this story had it all. Emotion, suspense, some humor and lots of sexy. I thought the characters were great, Lizzy and Ethan are trying to get what time they can together, some stolen moments (they can't get enough of each other) Ethan's past comes to haunt him and there's mystery and intrigue involved. This book needs a warning that you will use multiple boxes of tissues and snot cry all thru the end of the book. Esh I could hardly keep myself together in the epilogue. And talk about frightening experiences at the lake house. This is one book you do not want to miss. It is a short story, but leaves you lacking nothing. It’s a true talent to write a beautiful short story like this.

Lizzy is one tough girl and Ethan is a true hero: strong, protective, understanding. They make a wonderful couple and face many tough obstacles, but they face them together. This book really hit close to home for many people I know. Well done Krystal. :)

I loved this whole series! Awesome set of books about hot, alpha brothers and a head strong sister. Lizzy and Ethan's story was hot, sweet and endearing. I just wish there were more books in this series.
