Rebecca has just moved out of the home she shared with her ex-husband and has moved to a small rural ocean side community. She almost hits a loose horse and in the process meets a horse trainer named Ian. He is a dominant male and he recognizes Rebecca as his. She is oblivious as to why she can’t stop thinking about him. He haunts her dreams after their first meeting and she feels as if he is watching her.
As a rule I avoid all these incredibly short free books which just give you a taster of what's to come and then charge you way too much for loads more little books, each just giving you a taste so you'll carry on buying. I made an exception in this case because firstly I really liked the blurb and secondly instead of lots of overpriced books the complete collection is £1.87 which I still consider a bit much for only 71 pages but at least you know in advance how much it's going to cost. Anyway back to the book, I really enjoyed this I will most likely download the complete collection, not sure how accurate the cover is since the main character has a fifteen year old daughter but I suppose it's possible. Rebecca is moving, her daughters off chasing her dreams and her husband's busy with another woman so Rebecca's starting her new life and after settling into her apartment, finding a part time job she meets Ian......and on to the next book.
Omg. Could it be?! Have I finally come across a book by Natalie Wild that was decent?! Hold on, a moment of silence is needed.
* Silence *
Okay, so I’ve tried reading a couple of her books and to say that I haven’t been impressed is an understatement. Hence why I haven’t posted any reviews on my blog about them! Her books normally lack character development, have stupid scenarios, and are just completely unrealistic.
This book was decent. I actually like the storyline, and found myself giggling at poor Rebecca trying to handle how Ian acts towards her. While this was a slightly interesting read, it was way too short. I would have preferred if all four novellas were just released as one complete book. I haven’t decided yet if I’ll continue to read the rest of this series, but there is a high chance I will.
Don't normally read stuff like this, but was a free download. Seemed like a good idea at the time!. It's about a middle aged mum to a teen daughter who's marriage has broken up, so yeah, cover doesn't really look the part. Didn't mind it, but it's only about 17 pages long. The catch is you have to buy the full thing, which is in 4 parts. Admittedly it's only about $4 total, but then again, it's less than 100 pages too. This was fine for a quick read. At the end of this she meets a man, which is what you would figure. I looked at the blurbs for the other three installments and it does take a turn I don't like, so doubt I will read on.
A good story of breaking free from old habits. New home, New job, New love interest. I think the character of Rebecca is perfect for this story, obviously compartmentalized her life with ice type behaviour. Meets Ian, horse trainer who is free & uninhibited. I scored 3* because it feels to me as though this was a few chapters taken from a book & split up for the purposes of making it a series, on the plus side all other parts are available if you wish to.
Ridiculously short. The book ends at what I would expect to be the end of a chapter. This story is simply the first quarter of a full novel, which has been split into four sections, then disguised as a series. Utterly disappointed. The female lead is flat, and two-dimensional. First time I've written a bad review, but I struggle to find any good in this buy.
This is an extremely quick read that seems as though your in fast forward while reading it. I wish it was set at a slower pace. Everything happened too quickly! I wanted to know more about the characters, the story line had me hooked. But I don't want a story that should have taken place over months literally put into a 48 hour time span. (Maybe a 15 min. Read)
Rebecca is packing up leaving the home she had once shared with her now ex-husband, Jim. Their marriage ended for two reasons, she was a control freak and he was a cheater.
After nearly hitting a horse in the street, Rebecca stops and steps out of her SUV to make sure the horse is okay, this is where she meets Ian, a handsome cowboy. What happens next, you will have to read to find out.
3.25 stars. I liked it but it was kind of creepy, especially at the end. Not your normal, I own you creepy but weird psychic dream creepy. This book would have definitely gotten more stars from me if it was one short story instead of four shorter stories.
I really enjoyed Endless Love: Book one. It was all nice and slow in the beginning, and when Ian showed up the pace sped up. Then you get dropped off of a cliff T_T. I just love to hate books like this because it leaves you wanting more, so much more.
I liked this... Made me feel that when life looks the worst there is possibility of a silver lining... Then I got to the end and it was creepy.... I will be reading the second book tomorrow!
