The best of the bunch. Artwork was topnotch and the writing was bang on. It would have been a solid 5-star, but the ending seemed somewhat rushed after so much buildup.

Overall enjoyed the series as extra content. LOVED how it bridged references between the show and the later books, including mentions of Freehold, Auberon etc.
We also finally got to see Medina illustrated (the Y Que memorial was a nice touch!)

Kinda felt really rushed near the end. The last issue ended really abruptly, wish we got to see the Roci crew one more time after the fight.

Satisfying use of lang Belta throughout.

Once again this reads like some great episodes of the series, all the voices are correct. I thought Amos was played very well, and the ending... No justice for the faithful I suppose...

**The Expanse: Dragon Tooth Vol. 3** is a triumphant conclusion to Andy Diggle and Francesco Pisa’s captivating storyline, delivering everything a fan could hope for in a series finale and more. With its pulse-pounding action sequences and intricate narrative, this volume stays faithful to the high-stakes intensity of *The Expanse* television series, solidifying its position as a must-read for fans of the franchise.

### Strengths
The plot, centered on Dhillon’s sprawling covert network and the simmering tensions within the Transport Union, is gripping from start to finish. Andy Diggle masterfully intertwines political intrigue, explosive battles, and deeply personal stakes, making for an adrenaline-charged read. Pisa’s artistry, meanwhile, adds another layer of brilliance. His detailed panels vividly depict the chaos of Medina Station and the grand battles near the alien Ring Gates, pulling readers into the heart of the conflict.

The return of the Rocinante crew provides a nostalgic and emotional anchor, reminding readers why these characters have remained beloved staples of *The Expanse*. Their resilience, camaraderie, and wit shine brightly as they face overwhelming odds, offering moments of both levity and inspiration amidst the chaos.

### Themes and Resonance
What sets *Dragon Tooth Vol. 3* apart is its thematic richness. The volume explores the cost of ambition, loyalty in the face of corruption, and the sacrifices necessary to uphold justice. Dhillon’s character arc, in particular, stands out—a tragic blend of determination and hubris that leaves readers pondering whether his sacrifices were ever truly worth it.

### Verdict
In every sense, *Dragon Tooth Vol. 3* is a spectacular finale that encapsulates the essence of *The Expanse*—a series defined by its ability to weave intricate character dynamics and thrilling space opera elements seamlessly. It’s the kind of conclusion that leaves readers both satisfied and hungry for more.

Happy reading 🚀📚

'The Expanse: Dragon Tooth, Vol. 3' collects issues 9-12 of the comic series and completes the story.

Well, it doesn't just complete the story. It sticks the landing.

It's been ten years since the events of Vol. 2, which was set ten years since those of Vol. 1. Our heroes are grayer, thicker, wrinklier. But they're still our heroes, still muddling through, still trying to do the right thing. Writer Andy Diggle has a good ear for these characters, their cadences and relationships. I felt as if I were reading an organic Expanse adventure, not a media extension of existing IP.

The story? Well, it's still an interstitial - set in the 30-year time jump between Novels 6 and 7. Plans set in motion back in Vol. 1 are coming to fruition. Without giving anything away, I'll reveal only that they do so in appropriately nail-biting fashion. In other words, I raced through this book, swept up in the narrative as my imagination brought the words and images of the comic to life. This is the good stuff.

That said, the 'Dragon Tooth' series is not for those who are new to the franchise. If you're read enough of my Expanse-related ravings to pique your imagination, begin with the Amazon Prime series or the first novel. You'll get to 'Dragon Tooth' soon enough.

I enjoyed this comic a lot. Listening to the show OST in the background really helped the atmosphere too.
The art style is amazing, the story is very interesting and I am now sad to see it end.

The ending was a tad rushed in my opinion and we could definitely have used another issue or two to improve the pacing, but it is what it is.

I wonder if this will be the last thing that we get from The Expanse franchise or will they surprise us with something more in the future.

A competent finish for an interesting interlude story. Lots of solid payoff in this conclusion but the story misses the chance for some deeper lessons. Feels like a 3-episode miniseries within the television universe. For various reasons, this trilogy was tied more to the television series than to the book series. But it's still enjoyable for fans of either.

Ten years after the end of the events in the television series, the Laconians are still trying to destroy the alliance between Earth, Mars and the Belt, not to mention the thousands of colony planets beyond the Sol Ring. The Rocinante and crew - all much older and worn down by war - have to uncover the plot and stop it. Good stuff.

It's a fun ending, the characterization over the series is generally good (though the Amos moments sometimes felt a little forced). I'm not really sure why the Rocinante is involved at the end other than to increase the personal stakes for the characters, but that's ok.

Covert provocateurs. I wish that they would expand on the Ring more. It's all down to timing.

Forever love this world. Nice conclusion. Love how they handled Amos. Would've been a fun arc. And now a sequel? I'm ready.

This series had some interesting ideas but the ending felt like it went off the rails--specifically felt like the main villain became a caricature in order to wrap up the story in time.

The best chapters of this storyline. Feels like another limited series after season 6. I just wish the ending wasn't as rushed as it was.
