Beautifully illustrated & I LOVED the "mirror" concept. My nephew & I read it together. He giggled & smiled when he saw his reflection. He said, "Stars in my eyes, too, Tante."✨️

2 stars (It was okay)

Board books aren't really my thing and I'm not sure I knew this was a board book when I put it on hold at the library (I regularly go through the new books at the library and put things on hold). I think the illustrations are a bit busy and the text is too lyrical for a board book. I don't think it will hold the attention of really little kids.

Illustrations felt too digitized, and the poetic text may be a bit abstract for some.

Unusual that the mirror wasn't the last page, but otherwise this didn't surprise me much.
