Gobble, Gobble. Look out, guys. It's old Scarface! A thunderous sound echoes through the stormy Nebraska countryside. The hair on the backs of their necks stood up. But it wasn't lightning. For twin Kent and Kyle Morris, there was only one creature who could make such a loud noise--it was Scarface! When the set out on an adventure to discover the secrets of the huge thunder chicken and finally bag him, another surprising opportunity arose that could change the fortune of their family forever.
I like this book a lot because. I can relate to it. and it is instances because it is an old legend of the town that everybody has been trying to get. and two young boys get it.
Good series of books! my library class and fourth grade class (boys and girls) are really enjoying these books. This one is set in Nebraska. They are looking for a mysterious lost fort and a prize turkey.
This is a great series for young readers or readers who struggle with reading. I have used it with students grades 4-9. Each story brings together an activity that young students love, but also a touch of mystery.
This is a fantastic story about trying to get this elusive turkey and is a great story if you like hunting and the outdoors because the whole is based on that kind of stuff.
I liked this book. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes hunting and treasure hunting. It is also about family. Also it talks about a little bit of history. Also how people change.
Dislike: name choice. Uncle Tom this and Uncle Tom that. I know — I KNOW — that it’s just meant to be a name, but that’s also a racial slur, so that made it REALLY awkward to read.
