By the end of Book Three, the series sticks the landing—and then some. I had my doubts after Book Two, where things felt like a sideways shift rather than forward momentum. But in hindsight, that was all part of the setup for the final arc, and it paid off.
Jed MacKay masterfully stirs together elements from the entire run: the looming threats from Book One, the ensemble cast from Book Two, and a few compelling new faces introduced here. It all bubbles together in a satisfying magical brew that delivers.
The artwork has been consistently solid throughout, with vibrant colours and dynamic action, but the final issue? They truly pulled out all the stops. I won’t spoil a thing, but—wow.
