About the author

Hannah Shaw is a kitten rescuer, humane educator, author, and unwavering animal advocate who has dedicated her life to finding innovative ways to protect animals. Her project, Kitten Lady, strives to create global change in the way we perceive and treat the tiniest and most vulnerable felines: orphan kittens.

Firstly, the illustrations in this book are *adorable*! Secondly, I remember when Hannah and Andrew first got Ferguson and ChouChou — they really helped them grow up so big and strong, and all the photos and videos they shared (and still share since their adoptions) were (and are) so precious. I was so excited when they both got adopted, and seeing their posts is always a bright spot in my day. It was so fun seeing their story told from the kittens' eyes, and seeing the other fosters as well, including Phoebe the goat! I was so excited for this book to come out as I love following Fergie and ChouChou's lives with Hannah and Andrew (who I have so much respect for). I loved reading this and not only does it give the reader a fictionalized version of a true story, but it has a summary of the real story as well. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a cute, fun read, loves kittens, or follows the Kitten Lady. While I haven't yet read the rest of series, I do want to and plan on purchasing them when able. I hope we get a Birdie book next!

I really enjoyed this fictionalisation of how Fergie and Chouchou found their forever home. Seeing their stories play out 'in real time' on the Kitten Lady's social media has endeared them to me, along with all the other cuties featured in this series, and I am happy that she chose to write these books to introduce children not only to her foster animals, but to principles of love, courage, and kindness!

This is a children's book (178pgs), but I followed the Social Media of Kitten Lady (Hannah Shaw) and remember when both cats came to her. Both are very special cats, and it is amazing that Hannah has the network to help them both. I think the entire internet jumped for joy when she and Andrew adopted these special boys. The story is well written and teaches kindness and patience as well as friendship. It's a very sweet read. I was smiling the whole time!

Heartwarming Story!

Of all the wonderful stories of Fosterland, this is my favorite. Fergie and Chouchou have touched all of our hearts. These two friends and champions have been through so much through the years. Their journey hasn’t been an easy one, but through it all, they have known the most important thing - LOVE.

Another sweet Foster land story. Ferguson and ChouChou are among the hundreds of baby animals who have begun their lives under the care of the humans and other animals of Foster land. So many happy stories!

Another wonderful book in this series. I've followed Kitten Lady and her work for quite a while now, and recognized the names of some of the furry friends featured in the book. I actually got teary-eyed in a few parts (I'm 39). That foster oath will get you!!

Fergie is a tabby kitten who isn't growing properly because of his kidneys. Chouchou is a fluffy Siberian who has a cleft palate. They both get better and find their foreverland -- at forsterland! They love taking care of baby kitties.
