And they were room mates - the most wholesome shit I ever did read.
And then they went on holidays together.
And they fucked in a bath (which is the worst place to fuck imo)
And they kissed at new years count down and it was disgustingly wholesome, the way seiji shows the fuck up for his man 🤭

And they did it again.
Someone needs to study how this author manages to write a story full of fluff without it coming across as bland, it's truly magical. I think it's all in the substance of the story and how the characters seem so real, human, and well-rounded: I could read about Seiji and Shin doing the most mundane things and I wouldn't get tired of it.
They're so domestic in this one, the wholesomeness is off the charts and they're so funny. It's so good to see them communicate and talk about their feelings, this volume feels so romantic and much more smutty than the last one.
5/5, when will it be my turn.

Going back, why is this so damn sexy?!!! Smut is really not my thing, but THIS IS SO FREAKING CUTE I'M HYPERVENTILATING! AUGH, TOO CUTE TOO CUTE FOR ME. And I love the art so much. It felt refreshing because it's not the usual style that I see mangakas use. And they are so hawt like really hawt.
Niyama works big-age gap formula like magic. I don't really like it, but there's just something in Niyama's work that pastes a smile on my lips. What is the art style? The plot? The smitten young gays? The innocent-smiling, clueless old gays? I love how mature and adorable the relationships became and I love how they tug at my cold heart, becoming warm even for a moment.

I've reread this many times. It gives me calm comfort - the humour is top-notch. The gentleness and the communication between the two characters is what drives me to keep coming back to these two. The third important character is their housecat - almost in every scene too and as a cat mom myself, I totally love how they made it necessary for the plot.

Volume 2 is more of the same as the first volume. Essentially, it is a thin excuse of a plot to show the relationship between an older and younger man. Characterization is thin but there is a cute cat and lots of spice. It’s OK but hardly remarkable.

Nachdem Leser:innen in Band 1 Shin und Seiji mitsamt ihren Vergangenheiten kennenlernen durften, befasst sich der 2. mit derem Zusammenleben als Paar.
Die beiden begegnen vielen Alltäglichkeiten, durchleben ihren ersten Kurztrip und lernen sich immer besser kennen.
Hierbei bleibt die Story vorwiegend wunderbar unaufgeregt. Es bereitet mir viel Freude die beiden Charaktere zu begleiten. Vor allem Seiji der ungefiltert heraus posaunt, was er denkt - und dabei gern auch unangemessen ist - zaubert mir oft einen Lacher aufs Gesicht.
In Kombination mit dem ernsthaften Shin, der auf mich immer ein bisschen jugendlich wirkt, bilden die beiden ein wirklich niedliches Couple.
Zudem immer mit im Rampenlicht - Katze Chico, die von Seiji gefühlt überall mit hingeschleppt wird und von der ich denke, dass sie in Band 3 noch ein bisschen mehr im Fokus der Handlung stehen dürfte. 😏
Wer sollte diese Reihe starten? Alle die Lust haben eine schöne, unaufgeregte und sich stetig entwickelnde Geschichte zu lesen, die ihre kleinen Höhepunkte hat und einem nicht nur das Herz erwärmt, sondern ebenso häufig schmunzeln lässt.
Meiner Meinung nach ist das durch und durch eine Wohlfühlreihe.

I love the way Seiji and Shin treat each other. They got nothing but love for their partner and Seiji always makes me laugh out loud with his dumb personality. The old man has a heart of gold and I’m drowned to him just as much as Shin is.
We have lots of cute scenes between them, for example, when they go to their small vacation, and how they enjoy Shin’s b-day. Also new year’s eve celebration and even when Seiji tells Shin they can’t have sex since he’s gonna get a colonoscopy, lol.

This is just slice of life goodness. They are just so sweet, so domestic, so fucking in love.. and horny. Shin more than Seiji but Seiji is slowly catching up in that department. Also Seiji's comments regarding Shin's 🍆 size and enthusiasm...🤣🤣🤣🤣. The supernova comment after the hot spring vacation had me laughing so hard I choked
Side note: I must say, 1 thing I wish is that there were more older couple/mature BLs out there. I don't get to read (or watch) a lot of them - mostly because I dont think they exist like that -but whenever I do, they just hit a little different.

Still as endearing and wholesome as the first volume. My only complaint would be that the chapters read too much like slice of life snippets. I'd love to read a longer plot about those two.

This is quickly becoming a new favourite series, I'm very sad that there's only three volumes. I think I could read volume after volume of these two falling more and more in love.
I love the dynamic of these two and how well they work together and can read each other. I think it's extra sweet that they started as friends, so they know each other more than if they were strangers to start with and that alone makes their romance feel all that more special. Their romance is so sweet (especially how they care for each other and how they consider the other's feelings). This series is also incredibly spicy. There's definitely a lot of sexual chemistry there.
I also like that there is a bit of a short thriller storyline thrown into the volumes because one of the characters is a patrolman. It makes the stories feel a bit more exciting and gives the patrolman a chance to be his boyfriend's hero.
Finally, something else I liked about this volume is their friends and how prominent they were in this one! Especially that one specific scene that had me laughing my ass off.

Immer noch mega süß :3, ich liebe es, dass der Ältere auch ein wenig unsportlicher ist und ein Bäuchlein hat :D das sieht man in BLs eigentlich nie, das macht das alles noch sympathischer. Es ist immer noch sehr ruhig, es gibt kein Drama (kein BL-Trope-Drama, aber ein wenig Actiondrama). Und.. ach, es ist einfach schön <3

This was such a cute continuation! Thanks to Edelweiss and SubLime for the DRC!
I’m glad we got to see them cohabitating and settling into a routine of being together. It’s cute that they’re both hyper considerate and communicative with one another. It honestly takes away the stress of long winded miscommunication tropes which would suck in such a short form novel.
It’s so fun to see a couple just existing without the outside pressures being the point of the story. They’re together and while some people don’t get that they aren’t joking, them being gay isn’t the point of the story. With both of their families kind of not in the picture, we can just focus on them developing feelings and not having outside forces mess with it.
Can’t wait to see what shenanigans they’ll be up to in volume 3! Also, tysm to the mangaka for being so open and willing to write more about them.

Auch Band 2 der Reihe hat mir wieder sehr gefallen, obwohl ich Band 1 doch einen Tuck besser fand.
Shin und Seiji sind nun zusammengezogen und erleben, wie es sich das anfühlt. Genau wie in Band 1 gefiel mir auch hier wieder, dass man auch mal zeigt, das nicht alles so natürlich abläuft. Vor allem mit Seiji, der viele Dinge überdenkt, kann ich mich identifizieren. Schön war es auch wie man wieder merkt, dass beide versuchen die Wünsche des anderen zu erfüllen. Seiji wird hier krank und Shin kümmert sich ganz süß um ihn und Seiji findet eine Lösung Shin auszuheitern, als dieser an Silvester beim Bereitschaftsdienst ausrücken muss.
Die erotischen Szenen gefielen mir vor allem wieder weil sie sehr abwechslungsreich waren und beide eben so sehr auf den anderen achten.
Der Zeichenstil war wieder einsame Klasse und ich hoffe bald auch Band 3 lesen zu können.

Así me gustan mis BLs, caray: con buen dibujo, buena trama y buen humor.
La dinámica entre Shin y Seiji me encanta, ahora que viven juntos su vida doméstica es más chistosa. Amo también que Chico sea mencionado varias veces y lo dibuje haciendo cosas de gato, se nota que la autora tiene gatos y los ama.
Qué bonito momento fue el de año nuevo con su promesa de estar juntos año con año. Muy bello. Igual que su salida a las aguas termales porque fue un viaje compartido.

This was another enjoyable volume. It feels like it is 75% their sexual relationship and only 25% their romantic relationship, yet it works. Probably because the sex isn’t just uncomplicated smut for smut’s sake. They each have their own insecurities, but THEY COMMUNICATE THEM. God bless stories with adults who actually talk to each other instead of wallowing in teenage angst. The smut is still fire, though.

Ein super süßer und romantische zweiter Teil. Ich finde es toll wie beide sich im Laufe der Geschichte weiter entwickeln aber auch wie die Sorgen und Unsicherheiten von beiden angesprochen und aus der Welt geschafft werden.

Co prawda ten tom był nieco gorszy niż pierwszy, ale nie zmienia to faktu, że był mega uroczy.
Shin i Seiji uczą się tutaj życia razem pod jednym dachem wiec to właśnie w głównej mierze na tym opiera się fabuła tego tomu.
Było mega uroczo i zabawnie, czym zupełnie nie byłam zaskoczona ponieważ ta historia od samego początku zdobyła moje serce.
