I never feel particularly guilty or whatever about my habit (inherited from my mother) of always checking the ending first, but sometimes I do feel particularly SMART about always checking the ending first. Also, grateful. This would be one of those times.

If you're going to pull a rabbit like that out of the hat, Author, the audience at least needs to know they're at a magic show.

Because 1) some people don't like magic shows and would rather be spending their time and money on something else; and

2) people who DO like magic shows will then know that there is entertainment happening that is relevant to their interests.

That's what you'd call a win-win.

I didn't look at the ratings and/or reviews anywhere before I read this. I found the story on Amazon and downloaded it without reading anything about it first. I don't normally do that, but I'm glad I did this time. I might've passed up an entertaining read.

I'll say this... I enjoyed the hell out of this little story. There's not much to it, really. It's only 10 Kindle pages or so.

A bartender keeps getting notes from a secret admirer. At first, they are flattering, but they quickly turn a bit creepy. Who is sending him the love notes? A former boyfriend? One of the many guys who flirted with him at the bar where he works? A friend?

Granted, this is a bit out there, but come on. It's fiction and I was highly entertained by it. I enjoyed the author's writing and I will definitely be checking out more.

What the hell kind of stunt is this title? Seriously? What are we supposed to call it? I know eBook piracy is a really big problem...is this title an effort to prevent pirates from searching for this work illegally? When I want to talk to a friend about this book what do I say...dot dot dot dot dot? Ugh.

This book was utter shite. I think that was the original working title but the editor insisted on censoring it.

SERIOUSLY!!!! WTF! I was totally fooled into thinking this was something it was not. I have to say I really would have liked this more had it been longer, it would have truly pulled me in. Great writing, just give me more!!!
