D.L. King knows how to write a story. Twenty one of them to be exact. My toes were curling into the carpet by the first one and I'm still trying to pry them off. A good sign. Fem Dom is one of my guilty pleasures. There is nothing more erotic than bending down to whisper in a man's ear and demand that he be the instrument of your pleasure. (Or a woman for that matter.) To be the woman in the leather skirt, holding the whip or crop apologetically...that is where the defining moment rests. In this collection by D. L. King, there are many moments where I wanted to go inside a leather bubble and just stay there reading and never come out again.

D.L. King’s newly released anthology of femdom stories, Her Wish is Your Command, is a treat for aficionados of that genre. All twenty-one stories are fun, imaginative, and sexy in a decidedly naughty way – yet not so hard core as to scare off adventuresome newbies and BDSM-curious readers.
Most of these stories don’t involve mistresses and submissives heavy into the lifestyle. Indeed, a common thread features a vanilla male encountering a dominant woman who orchestrates events such that their latent submissive nature is revealed and they are encouraged to embrace what they have discovered about themselves.
None of the dommes are of the ominous spider woman variety. They are for the most part portrayed simply as self-possessed women with a penchant for being in charge, sexually and otherwise. In many of the stories there is a playful quality to the women as they interact with their submissive prey.
Perhaps my favorite vignette is A different Kind of Reality Show. A young exhibitionist guy lands a gig in which he is to be naked on live camera for a week and subject to following the voice commands of an exclusive audience of women. He did not anticipate that he would be required to masturbate at their whim – and stop unfulfilled at their direction; nor was inserting a large butt plug in his ass (and liking it) something that he imagined happening when he signed the contract.
This anthology is highly recommended to anyone with an affinity for well-written femdom literature, and for readers curious about the genre that are looking for a representation of the best it has to offer.

A well written diverse collection of FemDom fabulousness. DL has done it again and I'm thrilled to have this book in my growing library of her work. In this title she has written all the pieces which was a rare treat as I'm used to reading the collections she edits with only 1 or 2 pieces of her own included. My favorite stories were "If You Try Sometime", "Perhaps a Worthy Offering", and most definitely "In Training".
Deliciously hot women and willing men grace this book from cover to cover and will leave you panting, crying out, "More! Please, Ma'am!"

This was my first read from D.L. King and very first ever FemDom story collection and I have to admit I LOVED IT!! It gave me the inside look at what a Dominate might be feeling or how they are thinking. I will be adding D.L. King to my list of authors to stalk.

The book overall was great and I couldn't help but be surprised how diverse the range of subtopics were. When I saw this book I was expecting an anthology of similar stories and maybe some recurring plots but instead I was treated to a range of subjects. Everything from foot fetishes to intense bondage and beyond is here.
Although the brass tax of the stories is sexual and explicit, the book itself isn't hugely vulgar and is definitely beginner friendly. I recommend this book to anyone whose interest is piqued by the title but doesn't have much personal experience in femdom.
