Single, twenty-six year old Emily is on her way to spend four days with her friend Annabelle, whose getting married. Staying at her friend’s house, she comes face to face with her first love, Jackson. After throwing herself at Jackson almost ten years ago and being turned down, she has given up and moved on. This book made me laugh out loud so much. Emily is me 🤣 I was dying at her inner monolog. And her clumsiness had me shaking with laughter. I swear it's like someone followed me around and wrote down everything I did. Emily was awkward, clumsy, and with a fiery temper when she gets jealous or upset. I absolutely adored her and enjoyed watching her try to figure out her feelings for Jackson. And whew Jackson is everything a man should be 🥵🥵 he is everything a girl needs in a romance novel because wow!! I love how he had always wanted Emily but she was too young. And he hated how she had just stopped talking him. So glad they ended up working it all out because they are absolutely adorable!!!

Everyone had that first love and where you start off as friends but you want so much more to happen between you both. I know I have.
Emily has fallen hard for one of her friends Jackson. She builds up the courage to tell him to only be shot down.
After 10yrs of being heart broken and still trying to get over him, she finds herself facing him at her best friends wedding.
Can 10yrs really make a difference?
Can she work past her love for him?
Will it work out between them?
Or does a crash in the night end it all?
From start to finished you are glued to the book, I found it really difficult to put the kindle down.
The ending for me was a little rushed I could see another book to continue their story.
However don't get me wrong I loved it and just wanted more. I don't want to let Jax go quite yet.
I laughed throughout the book especially when you think yes there finally going to get down and dirty together to then only be interrupted.
I recommend this book as a good read it gives you everything from romance, sex, laughter and I believe you may Blush as Emily blushes.

I was gifted this copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. I love to take a chance on a new author's debut and so I was excited for the chance to read My Forever.
This story was about a second chance love between two friends Emily and Jax and they run into each other 10 years later for their friends wedding. Emily of course is still single and 26 now and she has always loved Jax but he never returned the feelings when she practically threw herself at him years ago.
When they meet again, her mission is to avoid him at all cost but Jackson seems to want her in his life this time so it seems to complicate her original plans.
Jax realizes he cannot lose her this time so he tries to pursue her. Will their feelings fight for one another this time and will Jax be able to win her heart again?
This book was very humorous and a sweet read. I wish it did have more angst in the book but overall was a very good read.

I love the book, it has sex, romance, comedy, well everything for a good read.

A great read, had to do it on a sit, it was simply brilliant. Characters are well built, story line well plotted, humor at it's best for you to enjoy the ride.

Emily has been head over heels for her friend Jackson for as long as she can remember. After not seeing each other for several years, they are thrown together by mutual friends. Are the feelings still there and are they returned after all this time?
Everyone has that first love you never quite get over. It was fun to read a love story that had a nice back story to go with it. The characters are great. There are different personalities for every reader to enjoy.
This book is a nice read. It keeps your attention and moves along quite nicely.

Good book. I was hesitant since it is a standalone by someone unfamiliar. I was pleased in the end. It seemed personal to the author, but isnt that how most books turn out to be. The more they put into it, the better it is. This proved to be true.
The book is about a previous love who comes back into the picture. What i loved about this book was how it made me laugh out loud. The things that happen to Emily, i would want to die! What i disliked was that like all the books you read, it ends how you expect it to...happily ever after.
Overall a great read. very entertaining and worthwhile.

It was sweet, but not much story here. Gorgeous awkward girl gets a second chance at her unfulfilled high school crush during her best friend's 4-day wedding weekend. After 11 years of pining for this guy who shot her down cold at 17, we find out he liked her-liked her all along, and if she'd only waited a few months for her 18th birthday, he would have been all up in that. Why she hasn't beaten him senseless at this point can only be because this story has to fulfill the author's girlish fantasy.

Good book. Very impressed for this new upcoming author. As usual you see a few errors but nothing i havent noticed in some authors who put out their 4th or 5th book. What i loved about this book was how realistic it was. Not to mention it made me laugh out loud at different parts. The things that happened to her in this book, I would have been mortified. What i would love to see is his version. To know what he was thinking throughout the book. Thats why i gave it four stars.

This book is AMAZING! I definitely dont have the words to describe this and give it justice at the same time. I felt swept up and involved in the story from the very beginning. The author did a excellent job of keeping the chemistry alive throughout the whole book. It is tastefully and brilliantly put together. The chemistry and interaction between Emily and Jackson is HOT!

Good book. I gave it 4 stars because besides being a cute book that reminded me of A wedding date the movie, i would of loved to see more in depth on the character Jackson. His job, what he does etc. When i found out that this was a fresh or virgin author, i was impressed.

Cute story overall. Emily is 26 years old, but talks and thinks like she's in high school or early college. Jackson was a good male character but there's not much revealed about him. The romance was sweet in a youthful way.

Once I started this, i couldnt put it down. There was spots that i laughed out loud so hard. The book was funny and entertaining not to mention HOT! Hope the author does a male version

This book is HOT! Once you start, I warn you. It is hard to put down. What I loved the most was I could actually see this happening. Where some books are too off the wall.
