One of my all-time favorites from my early youth that is fun and easy to look at--especially since most of these so-called "things that go" have familiar and recognizable manufactures and brands like the red sports car pictured on the front cover is a Porsche 911 and the fire chief's car is a seventh-generation Chevrolet Suburban.

The 2 1/2 year old boy I watch 3 days a week LOVES this book. We read it every day he's here. He has his favorite "zoom zooms" & "voom vooms". And we must go page by page. If you have a youngster who loves trucks & such this is the book for them.

Reading it for my son and I'm ended up having more knowledge about Things That Go despite it being published on 1994. I'm more aware of things around me now but I'm looking for more recent version of this.

We went out for dinner 2 nights ago to Anita's.
Emerson was getting restless but I had a secret surprise in my bag: THINGS THAT GO. A mega-oversized book filled with trucks, trains, emergency vehicles, boats, motorcycles and more! He saw it and let out a yell....like this...."Woaahhhh!!!!"

Almost all the pictures are side on, which gets a bit old. Some of the pictures aren't really representative of the cars we see everyday.
