E.V.I.L. stands for Extremely Violent Intelligent Lifeform. There is one being studied at a secret research lab. It escapes and promptly starts killing everything in its path. It is heading for a small town. Will the military save the people or use them for bait?
First off, this is by no means great literature. What it is, is a monster bashing story. It is a fun, fast paced romp. Don't stop and think about it too much or you will start going wait a minute, that doesn't make sense. But if you just go with it, than you will have a lot of fun.
What it really reminds me of is a SYFY (I still hate that name change) original movie. It is cheesy and over the top. In fact, this would make a perfect SYFY movie if a little language was cleaned up and just a few more scenes were added since this was just a short story. One scene could be the stranger's story which I was expecting.
I gave this 4 stars not because it is one of the best things that I have ever read but because it fulfills the purpose for which it was written. It is entertaning and a lot of fun to read. I found it as a free download.
