Nostalgic find from childhood. Favorite story revolves around the Fountain of Youth. (Fellow divers- next time you're passing through Ponce de Leon, Florida, be sure to bring your own pop!)

The copy I read contained 8, rather than 9, supernatural tales, some of which involved time travel, ghosts, and other strange happenings. The first three-quarters of almost all the stories were fairly engrossing but the endings with a twist were far less than satisfying. Good premises were ruined by lame resolutions. I was looking for some good read-aloud stories for kids in grades 6-8. None of the stories contained within McDonald's book quite suffices.
