Newly remarried, Matthew and Samantha Young face old threats and discover new ones along the way. Not even the most dedicated of friendships are sacred and nobody can be trusted. When it seems like the entire world is conspiring against them, the only thing Matthew and Samantha can trust is one another and their love. But will that be enough to save them when everything they thought to be truth turns out to be wrong?
Writing has always been my "thing". It's a necessity for me and no matter my mood, it has the power to take me away from reality. Whether it be fantasy, horror, mystery, or a love story, I'm into all of it and only now am I starting to get into my stride and I'm eager to see just how much further this little hobby of mine will take me.
This is the 3rd book and the end of the series. I was both excited for this book and sad, because I knew I wouldn't get any more of Sam and Matt.
The first sentence hooked me. Again. just like the first book in the series.
I was kept on the edge of my seat from the first word. I didn't know who to trust! One chapter I knew in my heart one thing, then by the next chapter I was doubting myself. Other times, I wanted to go back and re-read the first book for minor details I may have missed. Minor things that didn't seem important at the time. Oh, how important those little things are.
This couple definitely gets put through the wringer and I'm not sure if I would be strong enough to withstand some of these tests. Their connection to each other and love for each other is strong.
All I know is I started off reading a love story, and ended up reading a love story with a intrigue, suspense, backstabbing, and murder.
What an emotional roller coaster. I felt like I was living this with them. Right there with them. Even though they were going thru some serious stuff, I felt strongly their love for one another was going to pull them thru. I just love this couple. I love how Matt really grew thru this series and so did Samantha.
Great read. Strong emotional connection between the two lead characters. Made me laugh and cry. Made me cry because I was laughing.
The characters were so well developed, the plot-lines were so multi-layered. Back stories very inter-weaved.
One of the best series I've read. It contains love and romance, heartbreak and deception, suspense and mystery. There is something new at every turn. I definitely recommend this series.
