Meg Allen traveled to London to learn new skills for her brother’s security firm and try and bury her feelings for a certain sexy co-worker, Liam. A summer away in London hasn’t cooled the flames of passion. Equipped with a defiant attitude and a new hairdo, she has to face the man she’s pined after while also dealing with an unknown enemy targeting her home.

Liam Grant is still coming to terms with his deepened and shocking connections to the Irish mob. He has to make a choice of either his blood family or the Allen family and his career at their security firm. With Meg threatened, he pushes aside his own concerns to focus on the investigation. Though he tells himself that his family connections are just another danger to Meg, his passion risks burning away his objectivity and could blind him to the truth of who is actually targeting the woman he desires.

Madison currently lives with her husband and two children in the Valley of the Sun. Phoenix, Arizona. After leaving the frozen tundra of the north, Madison was more surprised than anyone with how much she has enjoyed living in the desert. Seeing as she had stated on more than one occasion how much she hated the heat, it was an odd move. But it seemed her hatred for sub-zero temps and ice, or really the things that ice could do, won out in the end.
When she’s not writing, she’s enjoying time with her family. Madison and her family frequent festivals in the area, as well as local cultural events, and spend time with family in the area. In the summer she is most likely to be found in the pool with the family and in the winter by the fireplace. Since both her children are autistic, days can be a little chaotic but with her husband beside her, there’s nothing she can’t handle. Luckily he is also an author and able to share in all the activities (and chores) special needs kids require.
Madison has a full schedule of releases planned for 2014 listed and updated on her blog:

Great story, Liam was always pulling away while meg was trying her best to keep him. Liam is now second to his brother who is in the mob and the reason for not being with meg is to protect her from the danger the is lurking but it still follows. Meg just got back from London, she went to learn more on computer science but really was to get away from liam since he was pushing her away. When she is attacked in her home he realizes that she is better off with him than on her own, they were cute together because he was the older guy who thought that meg this young beautiful girl wouldn't want him. can't wait to read more of this series.

Same as the other two, good characters, good story, stupid males fighting true love then bam HEA. Continued characters, fast wrap up no epilogue. Fyi if readers invest in the characters they not only want to read the struggles to become a couple but some HEA time as well. Easy reads just not a fulfilling feeling at the end. Last book I'll read in this series, it had the potential to be so much more :(

Yo Liam! Wake the f*@$ up! Talk about taking someone for granted! I thought Meg was a total pushover and Liam was not my idea of a Hero.

Like all the other books in the series I loved it. I wish there was more action but the romance and suspense in it makes it great. Would have hitting Liam over the head but he's to cute. Lol

Cute

Cute and entertaining. Meg deserves so much for hanging on go liam. I was ready to choke him. And poor Harley! Bless his heart. Such a good dog. I still for some reason am drawn to Finn. I can't wait to get his story.

I liked the majority of it up until Liam reverted right back to his old ways of running away from Meg for her own good. It's like they made progress and as soon as she did something he didn't like, he used that as an excuse to push her away again. It got repetitive and old that by the time he finally decided to man up for good, it was already too late. I was annoyed by him not being able to make up his mind on what he wanted and I was irritated with her being stupid and taking him back every time, teaching him nothing except that she was a weak pushover who would let him get away with anything. The both of them were completely wrong for each other and needed someone the opposite of what their counterpart was in order for them to work because the way I see it, Meg has no self-respect for herself and Liam needs someone to put him in his place where he won't take her for granted. To top it all off, her brothers even tried to play matchmaker knowing they both liked each other for years. I understand that not all older brother's are protective, that's not my point, I'm saying that they've watched her chase after him for years and him always keeping her at a distance. You'd figure that they'd get tired of seeing their friend push their sister away, hurting her time after time, and never giving her a chance when she's already at risk of being hurt by working for her brother, something she chose. It'd be a different story if she kept chasing him and he just wasn't interested in her, but he's shown it to her and them that he wanted to be with her but keeps stringing her along and giving her hope that one day he might say ok I wanna be with you. Keep in mind this has been four years they've known each other and Meg has never even attempted to have a relationship with someone else after being rejected by him every single time.

It took a long time for her to finally get him on the same page as her and then when he was, he got mad at her for trying to give her opinion on things that had to do with his mom. At that point if she'd been smart, she would have dumped him on his a*s for good and moved the f*ck on. He didn't want her involved in a part of his life and she understandingly took offense to it and got upset. He wasn't worth fighting for, all that time wasted and hurting over not being with him wasn't worth it. He deserved to end up alone. It was pathetic, she clearly told him that she wasn't leaving and that she'd be there for him when he finally figured it out. I endured most of the book and even liked it when we started seeing him slowly accept her into his life and not worrying so much about the risk. I had assumed since we'd seen him pull and push her away the entire book that by the end it would be him finally going after her for once after she'd given up on him for the last time, but no. In the end, technically it was still her chasing after him. Yeah sure he followed her to the airport, very original might I add, but only after he found out the dirty little secret his mother had that he quickly forgave her for, and realized that he might very well lose her for good even though in reality she still had made no progress in developing a backbone and wasn't going to the airport to leave but rather pick up her friends. It was completely pathetic and I was almost embarrassed for her but then thought hey, she's had four years to be embarrassed after making a fool out of herself by chasing him all that time so it's not worth getting upset on her behalf when she doesn't care either way. She got what she wanted years later at the cost of putting her life on hold when she could have done better. Her family seems to think he's the best match for her even though he's lead her on all this time. In truth, I've just realized, they're all a family of idiots who encourage stupidity and punishing one's self. I have no desire to read this story ever again and am even contemplating if I still am brave enough to risk ruining my image of Alyssa and Irene since they're the only ones I like at this point.

Haha poor Liam well not really... He's in love with Meg (she is Reed and Kace little sister and the only girl in the family) .. Meg has been in love with him oh for just about forever.. She went to London to learn more computer skills to help her brother security buisness... While she is gone a lot of stuff changes ... Liam gets a whammy laid on him at the end of Finns story so he's dealing with that plus he feels torn about friendships and like he's stuck between a rock and hard place... And apparently he's been mopey (serves him right) .. Meg comes back for the wedding and that's when crap goes bad... someone is after her but nobody is sure if it's her they are after or she is just a target in the bigger picture. .. but either way Liam steps up and finally tells her (back to stupid stubborn men) then he makes me mad and does something stupid lol... Liam finally realizes everything after it almost being too late but things work out... Thank God Meg is just as stubborn as her brothers lol

Engaging, and not a read that I had to put a lot of thought into, I could just let go and enjoy. Don't start this series if you are looking for intricate plot lines and character dynamics that wrap up neatly at the end. These are gritty HEA's and that's how they should be approached.

Oh my!! You go Meg!!!

Liam didn't know what he him with Meg! I love that she is headstrong and doesn't put up with his machoness. She is strong and knows how to push her man to be stronger and a better man! I am loving this series!!!

Hateful. The sex scenes have always been bad (with supposedly not very experienced heroines acting like porn stars), but the author crossed the line to terrible in this one. Did not finish and wish I could get my money back.
