If you like short, sharp shocks to the system - read this book! It gives you a perspective to what life must have been like for some of the soldiers during the Vietnam conflict - a viewpoint you won't find (thankfully?) in any history text or film. The gory twist at the end is terrifying and wonderful all at once. It will make your skin crawl but you'll love it. I did!
