Secrets.

There are many different reasons for having secrets. Sometimes we choose to keep those secrets to protect people, while other times, they are kept out of deceit and shame. Regardless of their purpose, secrets have the power to hurt us, like nothing else. When we risk losing someone we love, we will stop at nothing, to prevent the truth from ever being known. But sometimes, secrets find their way out onto the open, revealing themselves even against our desperate attempts to keep them hidden. My secret had almost destroyed us, but through the miracle of three little words, “I forgive you,” Skylar had finally set me free from my years of torment.

Part of her died the night she lost her parents. No matter what I do, I can never get that part of her back again. Through the tragedy of that night, our lives are forever scarred, yet through our powerful love, I see her once again returning back to life, just like a perfect rose in bloom.

Now that she knows my secret, there is nothing that can ever tear us apart again…or so, I had thought.

Mia Michelle fell in love with the world of books the very first time she stepped inside of her small hometown library. Growing up, she loved to spend time losing herself in the world of make believe by creating her own imaginative stories. The gift of a leather journal for her eighth birthday inspired her dream of one day becoming a writer. Though she kept most of her writing private over the years, a childhood best friend read the first draft of Rose of Thorne and encouraged her to take the leap of faith to bring her dream to life.
Mia fully admits to having a hopeless infatuation with her Kindle, and suffers from a one-click book addiction. (No intervention required). When she isn’t shuttling her two kids between cheerleading and football practice, or folding a massive pile of laundry, she can be found curled up in her favorite cozy chair with a pen in one hand and an adult beverage in the other.
Mia currently resides in a quaint little southern town in Tennessee with her husband, two children, and fur baby.

What an intense and beautiful book! Just like the rest of this series it is phenomenal and will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Are you ready to experience a variety of emotions..Ups, down, twists and turns? What Skylar and Lucas share are SO intense.

Skylar finds herself parked by Sebastian's side after an accident. She can no longer hide her feelings. Fate always intervenes no matter how hard you try to avoid it. Will forgiveness come? They have been through so much. Through all of this Lucas is left broken, however, is not ready to let go.

This book is filled with so many trials and tribulations. It does not end here. Skylar's attacker is also not ready to let her go... Can Lucas and Sebastian set their differences aside?

Do NOT miss this book or Series... Mia Michelle has created wonderful characters and story that keep you hooked from beginning to end.

I've been addicted to Sebastian Thorne since reading Book 1.

As with all serial books, I was excited and apprehensive as to which way the author was going to write the love triangle, and the author did not disappoint.

This was a beautiful third book that made me want a lot more, which we're going to get with the other characters getting a book of their own!!

Love triangles are difficult to write to satisfy everyone, but with the way Mia has written this I think everyone will be happy with it. I certainly haven't read this ending before so well done.

If you haven't read this series then I recommend you start as Sebastian Thorne is one hot Alpha!!!

A part of myself is sad that Skylar's story has come to an end, although I bet she'll be putting in an appearance in the future books (I hope).

Exquisite Bloom of Love

I did not think this story would surpass the first 2 in this series, but Mia proved me wrong. The measure of love Sebastian and Skylar have for each other is profound and intense. My heart wrenched for Lucas his never ending love for Skylar was heartbreaking to read.

I was anticipating for this story to reach it's conclusion and I was not disappointed. There were many twists and turns along the way, but in the end true love prevailed.

** review for BareNakedWords **

~Please do not read if you have not yet read ‘Rose of Thorne’ or ‘Thorneless’, could contain spoilers~

“She holds both the power to heal me and destroy me. I surrender to her. She owns every part of me. She is my lifeline...she is my soul. Skylar Rose is my everything, my forever.”

What a perfect ending to Sebastian and Skylar’s story. After being taken on such a rollercoaster ride of trials, tribulations and emotions, it’s so nice to see the HEA ending they both deserve.

Again, Rose in Bloom starts off as Thorneless finished. After being in an accident, Sebastian is left fighting for his life in hospital with a guilt ridden and distraught Skylar by his side; praying he pulls through. But also realising that she can’t ignore the feelings she has for Sebastian any longer.

“Almost losing Sebastian had been my fate. It had been the one thing I needed to open my eyes and see what I tried so hard to ignore. He completes me. He is truly the other half of my soul. Forgiveness isn’t easy, but when you truly love someone, you come to realize that there is nothing you can’t forgive him for.”

Leaving a broken hearted and rejected Lucas to try and move forward. However he doesn’t let go so easily; vowing to get his angel back by any means necessary.

“No matter the cost, I won’t allow her to be destroyed by him again. This time I will save her even if she thinks she doesn’t need saving.”

But that’s not the only thing Skylar and Sebastian have to worry about.
Skylar’s attacker, Brandon is back and ready to get her back.

"Skylar belongs to me. She just needs a little reminding of that once I get out of here. No one says no to Brandon Larson. No one.”

And when Skylar goes missing, Sebastian and Lucas must put aside the hate they feel towards each other in order to find her and save her. They may hate each other but with the love they have for Skylar make their working together and dedication to get her back commendable. And I loved seeing that,

Skylar really has grown in to such a strong and confident young woman throughout the whole series, but it shows even more in this book despite all the happenings and drama that surround her. She’s more determined to make things work with Sebastian and a lot more content. She has life back in her eyes and she is finally happy. It was good to see it shine through after everything she had been through.

I loved how Mia concentrated on the male POV’s in this book. It worked and felt right. Yes, you get to see Skylar’s POV as well, but this was the guys’ story to tell, and it was perfect.

I’m sad to see Sebastian and Skylar’s story come to an end but at the same time I am really looking forward to both Sophie and Lucas’s story.

Mia, you have delivered a brilliant and gripping series.I loved each one of the books and can’t wait for more books from you in the future.

Your writing captures the attention of the reader and keeps them hooked until the very last word.

Thank you for these wonderful characters and their story.

Rose in Bloom is the third book and final novel in the Rose of Thorne Trilogy. If you have not read books 1 & 2, please stop reading this review! Spoilers ahead!

Rose in Bloom begins where Thorneless left off. Sebastian is in the hospital from the accident while Skylar stays by his side. Lucas is licking his wounds from being rejected by Skylar. He is determined to get Skylar back - by any means possible. Also, don't forget about Brandon, Skylar's attacker, since he sure hasn't forgotten her.

"If she thinks I am running like last time, she is very much mistaken. I'm not leaving her, not until she sees that she is making a mistake." ~Lucas

"Skylar belongs to me. She just needs a little reminding of that once I get out of here. No one says no to Brandon Larson. No one."

~Brandon

Rose in Bloom definitely has a more masculine feel than its predecessors. Itfocuses mostly on the men of the story. We get a lot of POVs from Sebastian, Lucas, and (gasp) Brandon. We get a few POVs from Skylar but I feel as though this is the guys' story to tell. And boy do the men deliver. Their love and dedication to Skylar is remarkable.

"You are the fire that rages in my soul. Because of you, I finally know what it feels like to be alive, to be truly loved."

~ Sebastian

It was nice to see Skylar so content in this book. Even with all of the action and the drama, we see that she has developed into a confident and glowing young woman. Her journey comes full circle and her life is complete.

"I want you to be my forever and always. Love is forever, my forever is with you."

 ~Skylar

This is one bumpy ride! Secrets are revealed. Lives are in danger. Plus a wedding and a baby, oh my! Mia Michelle gives us sweet romance, action, and suspense all rolled into one fast-paced book! There is a tiny cliffhanger - but it is not with regards to Skylar so don't worry! She does get her happily ever after (finally - she deserves it) but

although Skylar's story has reached its end, there will be spinoffs for the voices left to be heard.

4 Stars for Rose in Bloom! Pick it up today!

From pretty much the beginning of this series, I was Team Lucas. Sure Sebastian was hot, and he and Skylar had an undeniable and powerful connection – but I thought she would be so much better off with Lucas. Like Sebastian, he was gorgeous, rich, and successful - but he loved Skylar so much, and would have given her the best life. There was no deep dark secret in his past that could destroy her. Skylar even tried for a little while, but Lucas had one big drawback that prevented her from falling in love with him, he wasn’t Sebastian. He even accepted being second best (which both broke my heart for him and annoyed me at the same time) and at the end of Thorneless, Lucas was devastated.

In Rose in Bloom, I have to say that I defected. Sebastian and Skylar don’t work without each other. I was happy to see them finally together, all the secrets out, seeing each other at face value and knowing without a doubt they found who they were supposed to be with. The bliss they found together made for some beautiful, and scorching hot, moments. Yes, I am now Team Sebastian.

My Lucas, however, planted his feet firmly in denial and stayed there for a good amount of the time in this book. I wanted to scream at him, “Honey if you’re dead, lay down.” He still kept going, digging into things he shouldn’t have been believing the lie that if he could just rid of Sebastian she’d be all his someday. Lucas knew Skylar would never be in love with him. While I loved his selflessness I cringed at his grasp on reality.

In poking his nose where it shouldn’t belong, it caused a whole chain of events that may make Skylar lose more than Sebastian. Mia Michelle takes us on a lot of twists and turns, and I spent a lot of the second half of the book with my heart in my throat wondering what was going to happen next. The suspense and violence in this love story was not something I expected.

Nik and Kylie were definite scene stealers and I can’t wait for their story, as well as Lucas’. Not ready to let anyone go yet!

Mia Michelle really blew me away with the ending to this series!! As much as I loved to get more of Sebastian and Skylar's story, I really hated to see it end!! I fell hard for Sebastian in book one and now I love him even more!!

Skylar finds herself in danger and Sebastian and Lucas actually have to work together to save her. I love seeing them hate each other but yet work as a team to try and save her!! I enjoyed the different pov's of all of the characters as well. I fell for Lucas in book two and was certainly wanting him to get his happy ending so I was quite shocked at how it all played out in the end but it really worked and will blow you away!!

If you want an action packed story with plenty of heat between Sebastian and Skylar, you have to pick up this series and fall in love with Sebastian. Skylar really blossoms from book one to the end of book three and I loved seeing how much their love changed them both!!

I must say, I think this one might be the best yet. wow. i was pulled in several different directions. i cried, i laughed, i shook my head. just. wow. this book has made me want to buy all 3 books in paperback and re-read them. a great continuance in this series.

my heart broke for Lucas, and i had hoped he would be able to move on, but with the twist that Mia wrote for him, i think it will work, and i am intrigued to see how it all plays out, if it ever changes, or if he will get his happily ever after.

the love that is shown between skylar and sebastian, i have no words. they have overcome so much, and are each a better person because of it. this is a different take on a tragic love story of sorts, and i was pleasantly surprised, as i was getting tired of reading the same thing in so many books.

i was looking for something new and different with depth to it and i found it with this series. can't wait for more!!! now, how do i get these in paperback??

Mia Michelle continues Skylar and Sebastian’s love story in Rose in Bloom (Book 3). Rose in Bloom has action, romance, secluded islands, friendship, and a stalker. Yep. It includes all that and more. The characters in this book are Skylar, Sebastian, Lucas, and Brandon. We also get multiple POVs – they all have a voice in this one.

All of Mia Michelle’s books in this series have a touch of suspense and Rose in Bloom is no exception. I actually felt there was more suspense and angst in this book as compared to the others, but I can tell you that our couple does get their happily ever after. Thank goodness, right?!?

If you’ve read the first two books in this series you don’t want to miss this conclusion. There’s even a great segue for the next stories about some of the supporting characters. Yay! So, hold onto your seat, grab Rose in Bloom by Mia Michelle and get to reading.

I'm not sure any review I write could possibly do this series justice!! It has easily became one of my favorites. This book has made me cry, laugh, & melt. We all know from book 2 that Skylar & Sebastian have traveled a rocky road to get to where they finally are, & then someone from past comes in to rip their worlds apart. Let's not forget Lucas either. I liked him & he deserves to be happy just not with Skylar, ( I'm a Sebastian fan in case you hadn't noticed) lol. I look forward to Nik & Kylie's book along with Lucas's book I'm curious to see how his story will go, I think he remembers Skylar, but doesn't want to admit it. Lol oh well we will see, won't we? So Het to writing us some book Mia.

MY REVIEW
Man this book, there are so many twist and turns the plot takes it has you captivated and pulled into the characters lives. I've been addicted to Sebastian Thorne since reading Book 1, i have always been team Sebastian and i think i love him even more right now, this man will go to the ends of the earth for his woman and that's so very sexy to me.
Lucas, man i really did not like him in parts of this book, like soul deep hate for the man, but he did redeem himself in my eyes towards the end. I loved that we get multiple POVs from each character so we get the inner thoughts from each of them.
Rose in bloom is crammed with suspense and angst, romance, sex and love, the epilogue was very beautiful and finished this series off very well.

Love , love , loved the whole series ! What a great story throughout all 3 books . Couldn't stop reading , had to force myself to stop and get some sleep !
Mia Michelle is an excellent author and I look forward to reading more from her , can't wait for the next book .
The only ( blemish ) I will call it ! for me , was what outcome she chose for Lucas , I really thought he was strong enough to move on after everything that happened and that just seemed like an easy solution to ease a broken heart . I'm sure I'm in the minority on that conclusion .
I only came upon the first book by accident and I'm super glad I did !
I recommend that everyone read theses books !

I waited a while for this book, and i enjoyed it, while it isnt as good as the first 2, it still is an enjoyable read. Its well written, nice clear storyline with great characters. What i really like is that this author didnt drag the story out over more books, this book is the finale, and you get a lovely clear happy ending to what has been a rollercoaster of a relationship! This book like th others had a real array of situations and emotions, and yet they arent over done, the writer got them just right. I will read more from this author.

I am so glad I read this series, all the drama, secrets and dual POV's was amazing. I loved Skylar, Sebastian and Lucas, I must admit I I was really sad for Lucas for most of the book but I am so happy that Skylar and Sebastian got their HEA, I was sad about what happened to Lucas at the end but now I am very excited to read his story. Mia Michelle you have written a very heart worming and amazing story.

Well, I was not expecting the little situation with Lucas at the end, but I actually enjoyed the story for what it was: a little soap opera were ALL the guys want the same gorgeous girl and really bad shit keeps happening to her. Unbelievably bad shit. Anywho, it got pretty racy with the pregnancy hormones. I just hated that everybody was so thankful towards Lucas for "saving the day" when it was him who fucked it all up in the first place. And the scene with the handcuffs? Please!!!

Thank God!!! Sebastian and Skyler are finally back together! I didn't think my heart could take anymore back and forth. In this third installment, we see Sebastian as a new man, embracing fatherhood! But it wouldn't be a Mia Michelle book without lots of drama! :) Things are NEVER easy for her characters.
I seriously loved this book! Thank you Mia for giving me wonderful stiries to read.
