This was another fast read. I am really enjoying these novellas. Not sure why she did not just write one full length book but who cares what I think!!


Mac and Matt try to keep it strictly business but the attraction between them is too much. We find out a little bit more about Matt in this book…. He still does not do relationships and we sort of find out the reason why.

This series is getting better and better!!!! But Sawyer I have to admit that I have a love/hate relationship with you. I love the amazing characters you're created (mmmm, especially my Matt) but I hate the fact that I have to wait 14 more days!!!!!! Just kidding!!!! Lol.

It seems that our Mac wants more than just sex from our favorite attorney. But even when she has a man like Cal that could distract her, nothing can get Matt off her mind. Even learning part of his secret isn't enough.

I would normally find a character like Mac mildly annoying. The yo-you effect and all. But I love the battle she wages. The desire and attraction she faces while knowing that he isn't giving her what she wants. Sawyer does a great job describing the nature of her feelings without making you roll your eyes at the MC, but rather you find that you can ultimately relate to her struggle.

This series just gets better and better!

4 ACCEPTING STARS

This picks up with Mac and Matt keeping their relationship strictly professional although Mac can't shake the Matt Connover blues. The only thing she has to look forward to is a date with Cal Carson and even with that, she wishes it were Matt.



Of course, Matt is at the Gala and when he sees Mac with Cal, he makes his play in the only way an smart Alpha male would. Mac and Matt fall back into bed and Mac learns a few more things about Matt's past. With this revelation, she slowly seems to come to terms with the fact that all she shares with Matt is this sizzling hot chemistry.

This novella ends with Mac receiving a devastatingly personal blow.

4 Sad Stars

Not only does Matt make it clear that she's the "woman he's fucking," but she finds out that Cal used to be his best friend, and the reason they are no longer best friends is because Cal, in a drunken haze, slept with Matt's then wife.

Mac learns a lot more about Matt through Cal and more things come up as they go on that hurt her. But she can't stop her addiction to sleeping with her boss.

But that's not the only thing that hurts her. She gets devastating news which makes her all alone in the world.

Violation picks up where Stipulation left off and there is oh so much going on in this part. Mac has had enough of Matt when he refuses to tell her why he is taking Lorraine out for dinner so she cuts him loose, no more sex! They will be strictly business only. With that in mind Mac decides to accept Cals invitation to be his date at an event that Matt will be at.
Mac receives some devastating news at the end of this installment and we are left with a bit of a cliffy so I'm off to read Mitigation.

Matt stands in the door way with his arm open to her....she can't believe that he is really there for her in her time of need but he is...is Matt changing his mind about there situation of there relationship just being about SEX....if you ask me I think he is having a change of heart !!

This installment of Legal Affairs is full laughter, tears, manipulation, truth, betrayal and of course shaking the apartment off its foundation....hot sex !!

Macy tries to tell Mac to let go for once and enjoy the ride as long as it goes for, but can she keep her heart out of the situation with Matt. Can Matt ever change his mind about his rules of just sex no relationship after what Cal and his Ex Wife put him through ? Just a few suspenseful words, Chelsea....Son.... .??

Then we have Lorraine....was it a date with Matt or was it business ? Has her employment just taken a turn for the worst because of her harsh attitude and the way she treats people ?

I was given this ARC book for my honest opinion and I have to say with every page you can't wait to go to the next to find out what is going to happen next...the suspense is a killer !! Keep them coming Sawyer I LOVE THEM !!

This series is so good and each installment picks up where the last leaves off. This one is quite emotional with McKayla losing her mother but Matt shows up and his vulnerable side shows up. Mac accepts a date to the gala with Cal and Matt shows up with a pretty blonde on his arm and, again, his possessiveness comes out to play. There is so much back and forth, will they or won't they...

REVIEW: LEGAL AFFAIRS: Violation is the third instalment in Sawyer Bennett's contemporary, adult, erotic serial series focusing on McKayla Dawson and Matt Connover. McKayla is an attorney who works for Matt's firm and sleeping with the boss is becoming more complicated as the days and weeks go by.

Violation finds McKayla reluctant to continue her sexual relationship with Matt. He is a man unwilling to get involved with a woman beyond the bed and McKayla wants more. Walking away is difficult but believing Matt has bounced immediately into another woman's arm is betrayal and it hurts. Hoping to forget Matt, McKayla accepts an offer from Cal Carson who has a history with Matt and one that McKayla hopes to uncover.

VIOLATION will tug at the heart when you realize that our heroine is willing to be used as nothing more than her boss's play thing. It was difficult at times to accept that McKayla willingly places her heart in the hands of a man who is unable to love or promise anything beyond the immediate goal.

Sawyer Bennett pulls the reader into a sensual and seductive story about two people who are physically and sexually attracted to one another but for one there is no promise of a happily ever after.

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for my honest review, so here it is. WOW, this is getting better and better. Mac is trying her best to keep her mind off Matt and she does a good job for about 10 days. While at a ball for lawyers, with Cal she sees Matt walk in with a blonde on his arm. When Matt ask her to dance, while Cal is on the phone, he wants them to leave right them. Does she go with him and leave Cal alone? Can she be with Matt and keep her heart safe? Will Matt realize how he feels about her? And I love what happens with Lorraine but will she come back and try to hurt Mac? Another great addition to this series.

I'm totally lovin' it!

I love that the bitch is out! hopefully not forever!! coz I want her to...ya know, do something really stupid against Matt & Mac, why? coz I want more problems thrown against them!!! How exciting would that be?

I loved it when Matt introduced Melody to Mac, and of course, I looooooove what happened after that! I can see that Matt started to soften his barriers and he's friggin' sweet!!!! oh god, please don't end this series yet, well, series? I mean, there's like 60 pages in each novellas so to call it a series is quite laughable. Anyways, I hope the story ends with them married and with kids!!!!

Starting to feel a little like an indecisive school girl. Matt has redeemed himself a little in Book 3, but there's still something about Cal. I think he's just a good guy, and Matt's still the playa I counting on breaking Mac's heart. It's going to be a loooong two weeks waiting for "Mitigation."
