Just finished this book today. This is an awesome book from a master story teller like Doug Romig. The plot of the story is quite simple really in that an angel was killed in Spiritscape - a place for spirits - by an unknown creature, causing a flurry of activities to find the culprit. The strength of the story however lies in how plausible was the description of Spiritscape in relation to the body of knowledge that we have now based perhaps on religious texts. It does give the impression that the author could have experienced paranormal activities himself to come up with such a detailed imaginative work though. The other strength of the story was on the mastery of Romig to employ word plays and banters to keep me occupied throughout, with plenty of "LOL" moments in each and every sentence. Definitely a read for those who love fantasy the likes of Tolkien and Brooks.

Excellent book. The story takes place in Spiritscape, the quite different and well described world of angels and demons in their struggle with good and evil. The angels are joined by a humorous human who has the unique ability to travel between worlds, and his name is Tone. The angels and Tone adventure towards solving the mystery of a murdered angel. There are surprising twists and turns, and while thus story can be read fir escape, the reader can glimpse deeper meaning in the relationships between the angels and Tone. Highly recommend

Angelcide something is killing both angels and demons with no care to which side they are. Enters a human entity Tone who brings laughter and something else to the Angels. This story shows the beginning of the genius that Doug Romig has buried within him. I anxiously await the next installment in this series. You won't be able to put it down.
