It was my intent when I started reading this to see if it would rekindle my faith. I am not sure that it did. Perhaps the spark will be ignited by going back and reading the Old Testament.

Someone gifted me a copy of this though we are both Catholics. It was the closest thing I had to a portable Bible for the longest time. Grateful for its service, but nowadays, I am of the belief that just the New Testament (okay, this one does have the Psalms and Proverbs, but still...) is not enough. I replaced this with the Oxford New American Bible - Revised Edition (NABRE) Bible Compact Edition which is a Catholic translation, has both testaments, and has a list of Mass readings for both Sundays and Weekdays.

Nice book. Pocket friendly, compact, miniature sized-attractive + portable. The only problem with this version is that there is no introduction about author, or their situation when they wrote the epistles. Other than this, this Gideon's book is good.

Filled with everything you need. 5/5 stars.
