Be and it will Be is a practical spiritual book showing readers how to originate desired changes in their lives through their state of being. The book is written in a conversation format, displaying a dialogue between Zach Sivan, a business professional and Ronny Hatchwell, a spiritual guide and a channeler. Zach is sharing his daily life experiences, and tries to find solutions for mundane challenges in business, family and career. Ronny is using channeling to introduce the state of being concept as the key for desired changes and shows Zach where his ego stands in his way to his desires. This dialogue then becomes an inspiring book where readers from all walks of life can see themselves and apply this advanced changing through being concept into their lives.
When rationality only offers us a death sentence, irrationality can become a best friend...
In order to explain channeling, it is perhaps best to define the word itself. In a physical sense, channeling is the forming of a connection between two points in order to enable a flow, for example of water or electricity, between the two. In a psychic sense, it is the connection made from the physical to the spiritual world through a channeler or medium, as they are often referred to.
The practice of channeling is supposedly allowing a person to let their body be taken over by a spirit for the purpose of communication. This has been around for millennia. There are countless stories of shaman (‘a priest or priestess who uses magic for the purpose of curing the sick, divining the hidden, and controlling events’), witch doctors, prophets and others who claim to hear voices or receive some supernatural knowledge from the spirit world. They often use what are called "spirit guides," friendly spirits who give them knowledge and wisdom to help them on their spiritual journey.
BE AND IT WILL BE by Zach Sivan, Ronny Hatchwell and SOL (aka Solika Hatchuel), the ‘spirit guide’ who apparently wrote most of this book is so steeped in New Age philosophy that I found it hard to wade through, and ultimately, out of. Let’s be honest with ourselves here. There is no real evidence that the information is truly coming from unseen spirits or some omniscient cosmic consciousness instead of the channeler. It’s worth remembering that all channeled information is subjective, mystical and completely unverifiable, often including themes of universal love, messages from God, Cosmic unity, and so on.
As psychologist James Alcock of York University notes in "The Encyclopedia of The Paranormal," "the supposed phenomenon is actually very old, for it is simply automatism — automatic behavior over which an individual denies any personal control ... Today we recognize that automatism is a form of dissociation, an altered state of consciousness, in which an individual is capable of speaking or acting without awareness of deliberately doing so."
I’d recommend the book to all New Agers. It’s not a bad book per say, as it contains messages of peace, love and joy. It aspires to a Utopian world which isn’t a bad thing either. My only concern would be as to where, why and how of it all. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Happiness and serenity are our default state of being
Israeli co-authors mentor/metafacilitator/channeler Ronny Hatchwell and technology/real estate entrepreneur Zach Sivan open windows onto the paths to finding peace though this question and answer extended conversation channeling experience, a guide through the Be and It Will Be concept.
The introduction, related by Zach, suggests the journey their book will take: ‘We are both very excited about the idea of working with her on this book to share our journey and her teachings. We first want to see what SOL has to say about writing a book. Ronny is getting into her special meditation and “calls” on SOL to communicate with us, SOL is not channeled through speech, but through writing. As the messages are received, Ronny types them up simultaneously. It looks very natural for an onlooker – a woman typing on her computer. I guess that this looks so natural to a rational person like myself that I can accept this form of communication with SOL. The idea is to write a book about our experiences of enlightenment through our sessions together. We believe that a book like this would help to remind people that they already have the ability to be enlightened, and that these sessions will help them recover this “recalled memory.”
The channel spirit, SOL, is apparently named after an historic figure, Solika Hatchuel, the victim of, and yet honored, a Muslim/Jewish conflict. Introducing SOL into the channeling manner of this narrative brings a sense of wonder to a book about insights into our responses and behaviors. The authors’ distillation of the book’s content states the invitation to the reader well: ‘Be and it will Be is a practical spiritual book showing readers how to originate desired changes in their lives through their state of being. The book is written in a conversation format, displaying a dialogue between Zach Sivan, a young entrepreneur, looking for the solutions for mundane challenges in business, family and career, and Ronny Hatchwell, a spiritual guide, channeler and the founder of "be and it will be'' method, who is helping him to achieve powerful insights and conclusions.’
Though some readers may at first respond to the content as a bit too bizarre to believe, the pages of this book contain thoughts and perception and concepts that, when practiced with meditation, can reveal new aspects of thinking and letting go of the ego to open the possibilities of expanding our concept of our role in the universe and discovering who we really are. Reading this book is a spiritual exercise, and one that, no matter the reader’s background, is accessible and mind expanding.
