STORM CELLS is a collection of sexy novelettes/storyline extras about Jack & Marissa
Who are Jack & Marissa?
MC’s in the Silver Strings Series G-String Set by Lisa Gillis: Jack Who? Weathering Jack Storm Snow Storms
What if I haven’t read the G-String Set?
The Storm Cells novelettes are meant to enhance the above series. These novellas may contain references to things that do not make sense if the novels have not been read.
Are these mini books?
They will each be at least 10,000 words. However, they are character driven and not plot driven. Think of them as extra scenes not in the books.
Are these stories erotica?
No. There are many hot scenes but no.
How many are there?
There is only one in the collection at this time. At least two more are planned. Readers asked for more of some storylines and these novellas are that.
A Difficult Date
Where on the G-Strings timeline does A Difficult Date fall? After Jack & Marissa became engaged but before they married
What is A Difficult Date about? The problems of their first Valentine’s Day falling in the middle of a tour.
Lisa Gillis resides in Texas, with her husband who is the inspiration to her fictional men, her son who is the light of her world, and a spoiled chocolate lab, Bailey.
Writing is a recent passion and she strives in her books to blend a perfect mixture of fantasy and reality.
Her love for music, bands, and concerts inspired her Silver Strings Series.
When she is not writing those little voices out of her head while listening to music, she is making her own noise on drums or guitar.
I wouldn't recommend reading the novelettes before the books like I did, but what I've read so far in Storm Cell was amazing. First of all, I love the relationship between Jack and Mariss; she wants to spend her first Valentine's Day with Jack, but she's knows that he super busy, as hard as that may be to accept.
Then there's Jack who sometimes you get so frustrated with him for forgetting about Valentines Day and picking a guitar over his soon-to-be wife, but then he surprises you by announcing his engagement to everyone on stage, risking the wrath of his manager, and jetting her off to Texas so that they can have an actual Valentine's Day dinner.
And there's also this curiosity as to why Mariss won't allow her son to be alone for longer than a minute.
The novelette was adorable and made me awe countless times.

The first in what is to be a series of novellas about the wonderful Rockstar couple Jack and Mariss, along with son Tristan.
This is the story of their first Valentine's Day, taking place in the midst of a very busy tour. You share Mariss' frustrations early on, as well as her joys and you can't help but ahhhh at the sweetness of the sometimes dense but seems to always come through in amazing ways Jack.
