I enjoyed this book. It is a very light read. Lucy is a bit too immature and giddy with love for her age, it seems to me. Actually, writing this out makes me decide really that she is just too overly dramatic about her feelings. Regardless of that small irritation, it was a lovely story about God's faithfulness and true love between a man and a woman. I suppose, really, when trying to put into words what bothered me about Lucy was just that each time she was expressing her undying love and "begging" for his, I was just sort of cringing in embarrassment for her. However, it hurt nothing since in the end she proved to be a very faithful, courageous young woman who stuck by her man.
