Herbert Becker experimented with computer technologies since the 1970s. He and his team invented by "accident" the software technology that improves the quality of Internet multimedia productions.
Herbert was born in Florida and spent several years in the video industry. In 1994 he began to research methods of streaming media on over the Internet. His breakthrough came in early 1997 when a dormant application starting to function due to hardware changes on the server. The result was the EnterVision line of broadcasting products. On going research has created a suite of applications, which have moved the Internet away from the older streaming technologies and into the new terrain of live, real time broadcasting over IP.
Herbert considers himself a self-taught computer programmer, even though he studied computer sciences as his minor through out his tenor at Roosevelt University. Herbert graduated with various business degrees, but never lost his love for computer sciences or technologies.
When personal computers came onto the scene, Herbert was quick to get started with Commodore, Apple and finally Microsoft Windows based computers.
Herbert has written several books on a variety of subjects, one becoming an international best seller, which has also been produced into an award winning series of specials. He has also written numerous articles. He is married and is a father of six, currently lives in Central Florida.
