About the author

Jody Provost is a published author and freelance writer for Yahoo! Contributor Network. She also is a custom doll clothing designer, sewing for over 20 years for several dolls, now doing business online as Jody Provost Originals. Her 374 page novel, “Hitty and Her Next Hundred Years” is published by Lulu, Inc. and highlights the 1930s, following Hitty, a little wooden doll that meets people from all walks of life and encounters many adventures.

Currently working on the second book in a planned series of at least seven that span the 20th century up to the new millennium, Jody will offer an e-book version for the Kindle and Nook, as well as publishing other books and e-books, in the near future.

Jody lives in the rural Atlanta area with her two daughters and grandchildren. When not working, Jody and husband of 26 years, Michael, both New York natives, try to raise money for dog rescue groups to help shelter animals and other charities.
