Kyle...
Kyle isn’t much different than his brother, Ethan. He’s been around the block many times and doesn’t plan on changing his mind. But when he meets Layla at the bar, he isn’t only attracted to her, but amazed by her. After Layla beats up a guy for talking to her the wrong way, Kyle is infatuated. Her strong personality and no bullshit attitude immediately suck him in. He’s never met someone who was as much of an alpha as he. He pursues her despite her rejections, knowing he has to tame her.

I was really disappointed in how this one ended. The story line was spectacular. It had highs and lows, love and hate, spice, everything you want in a book. Then the ending just went flat for me. Overall it was a good read. I only wish the ending wouldn’t have fell so flat.
I have been enjoying these books in the Alpha series, I love how the boys all connect and are fiercely protective of their ladies! The girls don't have a chance! LOL
Layla, upon meeting Kyle, keeps her guard up, although she doesn't know it yet, she is just about to meet the man of her dreams, she just didn't know it yet !
Of course we briefly met Kyle in Elisa's story, but we didn't really get much of a feel of him!
He of course, was a good guy, who was ready for a one nighter with Layla, but things don't always work out how you want them!
The unexpected interview took me by surprise too! didn't see that coming!
I thought they really connected and when her ex came back on the scene, Oh my poor Layla, but strong dependable Kyle wow he came through!
When John came back again, flipping heck how the hell can you make a decision like that! poor Layla, I was feeling her pain every step of the way!
It was nice to catch up with Ethan and Sadie, as well as Jared and Elisa, things are still going well for them!
Just downloaded Cassie and Janet's books and guess i'll be catching up with them now!
This was just not for me. The story line was ok, although predictable. This book seriously needs a good editor. The grammar and misspelled words seemed to take a lot away from the story for me. I always try and stick it out because I hate not finishing a book when I start it but I just couldn't. I felt like this was written by a high school girl. The h seemed very immature and the way she would speak and interact with the H just didn't flow well. It felt choppy and forced at times. I think this author had a good story idea and with some good editing and proper feedback she could have grown this story to be amazing!
I am giving this book 3 stars...and even that's a push. I really like the story, but all of the errors in this book just drove me nuts. The author was all over the place. I love Layla and Kyle, but this was unlike the 1st two books in this series. The writing seems rushed, I just needed more...like the 1st 2 books. I will definitely buy the next books, as I would like to know what's going to happen with Janet and then with Cassie. So, even though I enjoyed the story line with this book, I was somewhat disappointed.
yet another amazing book! love this series! I love this author. I have been going thru books like crazy lately but this book I bought and read in a day. read very fast. the story flowed and everything I thought would happen, didn't happen. was great.
I thought this series ramped up a bit with Elisa and Jared, but I lost a bit of that with Layla and Kyle. We never really got to know Kyle much and missed out on quite a bit of the stalking payoff in my opinion.
2.5 it was rushed, the editing wasn't the best and the whole x boyfriend thing drove me nuts, if he was obsessed with her and abused her before why Was he like that and gave in at the end... layla was an editor, maybe the book should of been too... very rushed
