The book is addressed to Armenians in Diaspora and to readers living in various countries who are interested in history and culture of Armenia. The book is a brief review of the history of Armenia beginning with the formation of the Armenian nation up to our days. The book also contains maps of different phases of Armenia's history.
The most concise yet comprehensive history of Armenia I've stumbled upon, all the way up to the evolving situation after the 2018 Velvet Revolution. A good place to start! N.B. The author listed on Goodreads is incorrect...the last name is Khachikyanz not Kyurkchyan.
A great overview of Armenia's history. Easy read although I must have read an earlier edition which ends around 2009-2010 timeframe. A lot has happened since then. A few grammatical and translation errors (I'm guessing) but a good springboard to more in-depth reading.
