Logan West’s life is anything but ideal.

Mindless sex, tedious business ventures, and the occasional poker game keep him occupied, but he only lives for one thing: fatherhood.

Oliver, Logan’s three-year-old son, is his entire world. Raising him alone, Logan finds his only joy in spending time giving Oliver the childhood he deserves. But every other weekend, he allows himself the chance to live as a man—a man with deeper desires. Logan knows what he likes, what he wants, and what he needs. He has no interest in dating and believes there’s no risk worth taking for romance, but his casual sexual escapes rarely leave him satisfied.

It takes an unexpected decision from his sister Julia and a road trip to the small town of Harmony with his best friend, Caleb, to open Logan’s eyes to new opportunities outside his programmed world. Its not what he expects, but Logan’s always looking to indulge.

This novella can be read as the first in the Harmony series to better understand Logan or anytime during the series. It is not a mandatory read to enjoy the series, simply a companion. This is Logan's story of how he ended up living in Harmony and right next door to the woman that would forever change his life.

**I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Indulge from the author in exchange for an honest review**

As a devoted reader of Graham's books, I anxiously awaited Logan's novella.
This was me when I found out it was going to release:

After Angela Graham gifted me a copy I was besides myself:

So? Where should I start? Logan West:

I had the pleasure of meeting Logan West in Inevitable and Irreplaceable. Needless to say I fell in love with him after some convincing from his part. This novella took my expectation of him to a whole new other level. Graham does a great job illustrating why Logan has made the decisions he has. In fact, it made me love him even more! <3

We meet the heartbroken man who endured such a painful betrayal after Natasha left. Not wanting to put himself or his son in that situation again, he builds walls around his heart...Before I go on let me just say how much I wanted to punch Natasha. Seriously !? Who does what she did?

Now that I got my frustation out, let's continue...

As we get more of Logan we experience the ardent, fiery playboy...WOW!!!

Logan has the power to get every girl in knots. Many of the scenes had my pulse rate going 100 miles an hour. Him and Caleb together were...indescribable. Hell, I was about to combust ;)

Then there's that other side of Logan. He is a responsible, caring man who loves his son and his family. In this novella we get to experience his relationship with his son Oliver, and I was smitten! Oliver is such a wonderful little boy (but I already knew that). Knowing that his mother abandoned him had me in tears and my heart breaking. I just wanted to jump into the pages and give him a hug.

Then there's also Julia, Logan sister. She is so stubbornly smart. It's because of his need to protect his little sister that he was willing to take an unexpected move to Harmony. It's this move that set his life on a roller-coaster ride in both Inevitable and Irreplaceable. Now all I await is the ultimate conclusion (hopefully a happy one) to his story.

Angela Graham dos an incredible job piecing everything together into a beautifully told story. So, I guess the only thing left to answer is: Do I recommend that everyone grab a copy? How about...

Everyone should hurry and grab all three books in the Harmony series in preparation for the finale of Logan and his sweetheart's story!

"from now on it’s just him and me"

Indulge is a short prequel to the entire Harmony series; we get to see the path that Logan took before he found himself settling in a town like Harmony. It was cool to see how some paths crossed in passing even before the other books. This story was all about how Logan indulged himself, changing his lifestyle to suit his jaded heart. I didn’t really care for this version of Logan but I am glad he got it all out of his system...(finger's crossed) Can’t wait for the next book, in the series, I really want Cassie and Logan's HEA, so I hope we don’t have to wait too much longer.

Big thanks to Angela for an ARC copy for review.

Logan West...
Fanning gif photo: fanning my vagina fanningmyvaginagif.gif

This was a great treat getting Logan West's novella. He is known as Harmony's ladies man, good looking, rich, charismatic, and can charm the panties off of any lady in sight. But this gave me a view of what life was like for him before his arrival to Harmony. Angela really shows the reader Logan's vulnerability, his anger and loneliness. I would love to send Natasha to the seventh circle of hell, just saying.

My favorite part was seeing the Logan and Oliver connection because to me there is nothing I love more than seeing a father's love for his child. There were a few things that surprised me that I didn't see coming, but everything ties together quite well.

so I did not enjoy this. I think its one of those prequels you enjoy after you read the first book...if that makes any sense

our main character is a single dad.. a whore..rich enough to have a nanny? .. business owner?..

its just him having a bunch of one night stands.. that don't involve seduction.. its just like "I have penis.. you have vagina...lets make with the sex"

and apparently this is the book where you see the two MCs build their relationship.. but I hate them both.. I think they both are rude, annoying, undeveloped

now that I wrote this review im actually changing my rating to a 1 star instead of 2 stars

I think I'm very glad I didn't read this before I read the series. I liked all the twists of getting to know Logan in the full novels. This is a glimpse of what Logan is really like. I think if I had known this stuff in the beginning of the other books I might not have been as engrossed in them. This isn't a bad read, but it will change your perception a little bit.

"Indulge" was a book that I couldn't put down, there was something about it that kept me reading. I think part of the draw was that I really enjoyed "Inevitable", Book 1 of Angela Graham's Harmony series and immediately purchased Book 2, "Irreplaceable" and this prequel, "Indulge". But, I kind of wish I hadn't.

I knew that Logan (the novella's hero) was broken in "Inevitable". So it was enlightening to see just how abruptly Natasha, left him and their son, Oliver, walking away without a word. And the steps Logan took in the first few hours, days, and weeks to get away with his son in order to figure out his next steps to protect his son and move on. It was interesting how the pieces fell into place to get Logan, Oliver, Julia (Logan's younger sister) and Caleb (Logan's friend) to the small town of Harmony.

HOWEVER, without having to "see" it I knew in Book 1, "Inevitable", that Logan was SERIOUSLY PROMISCUOUS (to put it mildly). A graphic picture was painted for me in "Indulge", that didn't really show me a man who was seriously hurt and was drowning/numbing himself with liquor and women. He came across as indulgent and entitled rather than wounded.

There was a portion of the book that I know is important because it involves how Caleb fits into "Inevitable" - Book 1 involving a poker game that Logan and Caleb play in. Logan is Caleb's wingman in the poker game but him method of distraction is the primary reason I'm giving this novella such a low rating. The scene that I disliked the most - that I felt was almost gratuitous - takes place outside of the house where the poker game was taking place, and involves Logan, Caleb and a young woman. This scene took me COMPLETELY off guard! Let me just lay my cards on the table, they were ... objectifying jerks.

For me, "Indulge", ended with both Logan and Caleb (who I liked in "Inevitable") not having very many redeemable characteristics. What saved the book for me was the love and utter devotion Logan has for his son, Oliver. And, his wanting to protect his sister, Julia, (from guys, kind of like himself) when she goes away to college.

If I had read this Prequel first, I would never had picked up and read Book 1, "Inevitable". Thank God, that I read "Inevitable" first and fell in love with Logan there or else I would have missed out on what I think is an extremely enjoyable series.

I hope that "Indulge" will serve a purpose, in the series, and not just be an indulgence. I'm going to put my faith in Angela Graham and trust she won't let me down in the end.

Mi-a placut enorm aceasta carte.

This was actually the first book I have read int his series. So, I went in blind having no idea what this series was about or what to expect. Also note that I am not a big fan of novella's. I only read them when I am asked to review them, and even then I try to drag my feet. So I start this book that happens to be a novella, that is to a series I have yet to read, and that I did not read a synopsis on......WOW!!

Logan stole my heart from the very first page with the love of his sweet son Oliver. I am such a sucker for stories with amazing fathers, and when a man steps up and takes on that responsibility on his own I melt just a bit! Logan clearly has issues dealing with commitment and getting close to anyone that is not a part of his family. He uses sex to fill a void, and only chooses to do this every other weekend when he gets some "me" time away from his son. There is clearly pain left from Oliver's mom, but without having read the rest of the series, I am unsure exactly what all the issues are. What I do know is there is so much to Logan that I have yet to explore, and I really enjoyed all of the characters and what they contributed to this story so far!

I got a brief look into who Logan is. I get the idea that he moves to a new city and will be starting his journey off in the beginning of the series. Although I am not a novella fan, I LOVED this read and feel like I am all set to jump into the other two books! Logan already has my heart and I cannot wait for the journey he will be taking me on!

I have 2 views on novellas: they can enhance a series you enjoy or they can serve as an introduction to an author/series. Since I have never read any of the books in the Harmony series by Angela Graham, Indulge was my sneak peek into her writing and into the series’ storyline. While it the book didn’t spark any real passion for me to immediately read the series, I thought that it did a good job of introducing the leading male of the series, Logan. You got a good sense of who he is and his situation. The foundation was laid out within this nicely written short story of Logan’s life before the series. Graham blended the information well with some drama and humor, not mention a little naughtiness to boot. So all in all, the book did it’s part. I got a nice intro, sort to speak, to the main series.

Love the Harmony series, can't wait for the third one, but wish I never read the prequel. Though it was good to read how he came about moving to Harmony like how much his sister wanted to go there and buying a business, I did not need to read about the threesome he was having in the house he then decided to buy after seeing it was next door to Cass. You already know he has been a great dad since Olivers mother left them and he turned into a player, so the prequel isn't that much insightful to me. I am one of those readers who doesn't like reading sex scenes that's not with the heroine. I know it was pre-Cassandra but still this book didn't come out before the others. Only got this because it was free so for that I am thankful.

If you've read Inevitable and Irreplaceable, you already know Logan West. If you haven't met him yet, be prepared to be WOWED, DAZZLED, and maybe even a little OBSESSED!

Indulge is a prequel novella in the Harmony Series by Angela Graham. Even though it's a novella, it packs the punch of a full length novel. Since I knew Logan before the novella, I loved that I got to see some of his pre-Harmony life and what led to the beginning of Inevitable. It's an absolutely stunning lead up to book 1 of the series.

Get ready to INDULGE in the awesomeness that is Logan West. :) <3

Indulge is a prequel novella in the Harmony series that gives the reader the down-low on Logan West. If you have not read the first two books in the series yet I highly recommend you read this book first. Even if you don't read this first, it will really help you understand the inner working and thoughts of Logan.

I have to say that while I was reading Inevitable and Irreplaceable, I didn't always feel like the bond between Logan and Oliver was that strong. I think I felt that way because those stories are told from Cassandra's POV and Logan is extremely guarded on who he lets get close to Oliver. But after reading Indulge I see the back story between father and son and understand now how close these two are and the lengths that Logan will go to keep Oliver safe, happy and feeling loved.

I have an issue, and I admit it is my own personal issue, with guys that have sex with a different woman almost every night. I know, I know, it makes for good reading though right? As I said, it is my hang up. Logan is one of these guys, having sex with a different girl he's picked up in a bar somewhere, most times never remembering her name. We learn through Angela's story why Logan is this way, what occurred in his past that caused this beautiful loving man to become so detached.

I am very glad that Angela wrote this novella that gives us the insight into Logan's past before he moves to Harmony. It helps to fill in bits and pieces of the storyline and also several of the characters that we learn about in Inevitable and Irreplaceable. Now that I've read Indulge I'm going to go back and reread the other two books before Indestructible is released so that I can fill in the pieces.

Another awesome book by Angela Graham! Can't wait for more of Logan, Cassandra and of course, Oliver!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Indulge from the author in exchange for an honest review.
As someone who devoured the other two books in Graham's Harmony series (and eagerly awaits the third book), I was excited by the prospect of a prequel novella from Logan's point-of-view. I loved the other two books in the Harmony series because I loved Cassie as a narrator. She was believable, and witty, and relatable. I was interested to see how Graham would write Logan's narration, as he sort of seems a larger-than-life character from Cassie's POV. I was pleasantly surprised to find Logan just as relatable here. He is a man who cares deeply for his young son and his family members. He has been hurt, and he escapes from the pain he feels by losing himself in pleasure.
I was glad to see his character has stayed consistent in this novella. Sometimes I find when an author switches into another character's POV, that character becomes something they were not in the other books. I didn't get that here.
It was lovely to get to understand the characters of Caleb and Julia from Logan's POV as well. I will reread the other two Harmony books with a new appreciation for both of them.
My biggest complaint here was the length of the novella. I would have liked to have been privy to more of Logan's relationship with Oliver's mother, as it becomes a central issue in the next two books but it paid very little attention here. I understand Logan wants to escape from his issues, but I felt cheated out of understanding the big problem.

How do I start? Oh, yes. I freakin love Logan West!!!!! He is sexy as sin. In the first chapter when he said, "Show me what that pretty mouth can do", I was gone already!! Hawt!!!!
I love that you see what his life was like before Cassie entered it.
He was so heartbroken when his relationship was not what he thought it was. Putting his son, Oliver, first has always been his top priority. That pushed him to move on with his life. He also found out that the company of a one night stand helped him move on, as well.

"You're better than all this, Logan...you're just lost right now."
"And I don't want to be found"

Refusing to listen to his brother, he continued to be the ladies man he was known to be. When his little sister, Julia, was deciding on a school to go to, she wanted to go to a school where their parents went. It was located in a town called Harmony. A very small town.

With his best friend, Caleb, in tow they went to this town. Logan couldn't believe how small this place was. He also found himself being charmed by it and not understanding why. While inside the local diner, he spotted a girl that he couldn't turn away from. There was something about this hometown girl with beautiful blonde hair. He wanted to talk to her, but all the guys told him to leave her alone. That intrigued him more.

This town might just be what he and his son need to start over.

What do you do when fate is placed right in front of you?

I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Logan and his life before he moved to the town called, Harmony.

I really enjoyed Logan`s side of the story. Actually more than Cassandra`s. I`m always a sucker for the male POV, I feel we always learn more stuff than the females. And this was just better all around. I truly hope there is more Logan POV, there is still soooo much I want to see from his eyes, hear from his lips, feel with his fingers. Angela did a great job capturing Logan`s story and side of it. I loved reading about how he seen Cassandra helping the elderly woman that owns the paper. Or sitting out back reading. I loved when he met Mark at Josh`s party, loved the interactions with Caleb and his sister and of course little Oliver, what a sweet and tender daddy he is.

We meet Logan when Natasha decides to up and leave her family. From that day on he decides it`s him and Oliver and he will be there for his son. He does everything for that little boy. A couple years go by and his sister is hell bent on moving to Harmony and making it on her own. Logan doesn`t think this is a good idea but he decides to take a trip with Caleb to see if it`s a good place for his sister or not. While there he ends up finding many more reasons than his sisters education to stay.
It was very well done and I highly enjoyed it and really hope for more Logan POV. Well done Angela, well done.

Wow, just when I thought Logan West couldn't get any hotter. Ok, ok before Cassandra maybe he wasn't very respectful when it came to his interactions with women, but who can blame him with what Oliver's mother did to him. He decided to not open himself up to anyone, so all his interactions with women were based purely on sexual need. He was pretty much the love em' and leave em type.

Then he heads back to Harmony, and runs into a beautiful woman, who pays him no attention, but she is all he can think about. A business venture is going to keep him in Harmony but she just might be another reason for him to stay.

The interaction between Oliver and Logan completely melted my heart. They were absolutely adorable together, and quite funny too. You could clearly see they were each others worlds.

This was the perfect prequel novella to the other books in the Harmony Series and can be read before of after the other books. Angela Graham wrote a perfect novella, she didn't add too much or too little, but provided just the right amount to leave you wanting more.

Indulge is a prequel novella, and usually I hate novellas. Usually the author tries to cram a full length book into a few pages, which just doesn't work. Angela Graham, though, has writing a very good novella. I loved it.You don't have to read the other two books before reading this one, but if you do you will just love Logan even more. I loved Logan and Cassandra already, and I loved seeing what happened with Logan before Cassandra met him. I loved seeing Logan's point of view.

The story starts from when Natasha walks out and goes through when Logan decides to move to Harmony and why. You see how Logan becomes completely devoted to Oliver, how much of an amazing dad he is. You also see how he tries to deal with his pain and anger of Natasha leaving, how he uses ladies and tries to just be shut off emotionally. It was fun seeing his first visit to Harmony (that he remembers) and to see more of Caleb (now I want a book just about him....). Now I am looking forward to the third book even more!

*** I was given an ARC for an honest review ***

I am so excited that we got Logan's story!! This book is the perfect prequel to the Harmony Series.

It begins with Natasha and heartache. Logan has to keep it together because he has a son. While being the best father possible, he also lets loose on the weekends.

Logan loves to be sexual, but it is strictly to get off. He never feels an emotional connection with any of the ladies he has encounters with. He is playboy and loves to flaunt it.

Caleb, Logan's best friend is HOT in this book. He is dominant and sexual and everything in between. I loved him! Some of the scenes with him will have you fanning yourself ladies!

This book is the perfect blend of storyline & sexy time. The way Angela ties it to the other books is amazing! It really makes you see why Logan acts the way he does throughout books 1 & 2.

I highly recommend that you either start the series with this book or go back and read it! Totally worth it!

A DNF for me. I don't care about Logan sleeping around, that's fine to see before he meets the one. What made me stop after chapter 2 was Jax and Julia. I get that they're only 18, but Julia has screaming fits and Jax is an entitled little brat whow has fits too. Both flew off the handle so quickly it leaves your head spinning. Are they 5 or 18? Because they act 5. What? At 18 they don't realize they can't get their way every time so let's yell, which they had to know wouldn't work on their brother. Or my favorite, Julia acting like a jealous shrew instead of a sister when arriving at her ADULT brother's house unannounced to find a woman leaving? Let's see, if you don't like her, disapproval would make sense, or making fun of your brother for his poor taste in women. And she's too stupid to know her own brother never brings women around his son so she accuses him of that too!

That is annoying. And illogical.

So this book is a Novella and is in Logan's POV and pre Cassie.

It starts out when Natasha leaves him and their son Oliver. Then a couple years later you see how he continues on through the years raising his son alone. I was anxious before reading this book because I knew it was going to show his man whore ways and I grew to love him in the other two books. I could have dealt with not reading it and would have been fine. I got to see Logan put up that wall around him so nobody can get attached and therefore you see him bedding anybody willing. I really didn't like the Logan I got to see and yes the scenes were hot but it was just blah for me.

The writing was great and it was awesome getting his POV. I would love to see his POV with book 1 and 2 and to see what he was going through as his and Cassie's relationship was growing.

I loved this book! It was such a good look into what Logan was like before meeting Cassandra. I will say that Logan comes off like an insensitive jerk but it is because he's hurt. He is trying to protect his heart and his son from another disappointing woman. What better way to do then to use em and leave em! I also enjoyed reading more about Caleb. He sounds like an interesting character who would have an interesting story to tell! hint hint :)

Whether you have never read the Harmony Series or have read them, this book is a must read at some point! I actually liked reading it after I have already read the first two because it helps assure me that Logan and Cassandra are perfect together. Logan does a lot of fighting to win Cassie's heart and reading this novella makes me feel for him. The guy in this novella would never fight for a girl not worth it and Cassie is worth it!!

This Prequel novella DOES NOT disappoint!!! I know that books 1 & 2 are out, but honestly I'm glad that Angela wrote them this way. I don't think it was ever her intention to write one, but so many of is fell in love with Logan we wanted more. Thank You Angela for giving us more!!

More of Logan is what you get in this book from the heart ache he felt when Natasha left, to the hard shelled sex god, as well as the loving father and brother. I think I fell more in love with Logan in this book!!!

Oh and let's not forget about Caleb. I always wondered how he and Logan became so close. The way Angela ties EVERYTHING together is Perfect!

I am now going to re-read the books in preparation for book 3 and I rarely do that!

Way to go Angela Graham!!! THANK YOU for letting me beta read for you!!!

Now I have to say I love a male POV but always worry about a prequel especially when he is a previous manwhore and I am very protective of Cassie lol ....yes I am well aware that this is pre Cassie but still.....
That being said Angela Graham you blew me away with this and I have a new found understanding of what made Logan the way he is/ was.
It was hot in places but never crass and I loved to see a younger Julia and Caleb as well and the first time he spotted Cassie you knew deep down it was gonna be time up for Logan.....eventually!
Natasha what a B...h...mmm some things never change and I despise her even more now and I have a feeling that's not the half of what she is capable of.

This was the insight I wanted to see - the story how Logan ended up in Harmony. This novella gave the reader a look at what happened between him and Natasha, how his sister wanting to move to Harmony to attend school, and how his friend Caleb won the diner in a poker game, got him to purchase the Tribune paper and move there himself. And how a night with two girls brought him to the house he would purchase, knowing Cassandra lives next door.

Angela Graham writes the story from Logan's POV. I love her writing style. She is detailed just enough to give you a vivid image of what is going on. And I love the characters and the dialogue. This book was just a little morsel of Logan until the third and final book comes out. Can't wait!!! :)

I was given the privilege of beta reading this book for Angela Graham.

Let me start by saying, I absolutely LOVE book 1 and 2 so I was excited to get some background info on Logan 'pre-Harmony'. This book touches on when Natasha left, what sparked Logan to move to Harmony and everything in between.
You think you know all about Logan's 'playboy' ways, but you don't know just how shocking and steamy they were. We get a glimpse into a few encounters, including a night out with Caleb (who knew Caleb could be so dominant?).

This book does an awesome job of tying together Logan's past to his life in Harmony. You won't be disappointed!

**Minor spoilers if you haven't read Inevitable and Irreplaceable**

Indulge is the prequel to Inevitable. It's the story from Logan's pov about how he ended up in Harmony and how he handled Natasha leaving. We've known all along what a great dad Logan is and how fiercely loyal he is to his family. We saw that in spades in this book. So sweet! It was also nice to see that he he was fascinated with Cassandra long before he moved in and met her while jogging. We also got more of a background of Julia, Caleb, and Jax's characters. Great novella! I'm looking forward to Indestructible and seeing Cassandra take Natasha down!

The Harmony Series is by far one of the most captivating/romantic love stories I've read in quite sometime!
Logan West is simply irresistible!!!! You wont want to put these books down! I read Inevitable and Irreplaceable first and with those two alone I was HOOKED! Indulge gives you great insight as to why he is the way he is, and shows you even more how much love he has to offer! For those who just heard about this series DEF start with this one! The power of love and it's ability to open a person's heart is touching.... Everything about this book is HOT!!
