This is a super fast pace read with some cute romance and some spice!!
Kane overhears a convo and he's so sprung by the voice that he has to get to know her, and when he finds out his little lamb is trying dating sites he's going to make sure she finds no man but him!! But he miss his moment and has to find her and make her his so he signs up and swipes until he finds her. As for Maya she has been pinning after Kane for awhile but life knocked her down and kept her busy and alittle shy to ask him out also he's a professor so double whammy. But now fate has plans and she's going after what she wants even if it's for one night.. but don't worry Kanes going to make sure it's for many many many nights and days. That's really the only conflict they have is the teacher part.. it wasn't really a huge deal or problem..

This was classic Nichole Rose fiery, insta love, sweetness.
The plot is simple with only a conflict of interest to add any sort of ‘drama’.
But it was short enough, that didn’t matter all the much.
The characters were likable and perfect together.
We get just enough information about each of them to know they’re good for each other.
The sex is steamy and hot and the dirty talk was fiery as always.
I really enjoyed this cuteness.
I can’t wait for more from this author.

Read 1: I bow down to Nicole Rose. She can do no wrong in my book. I absolutely loved this story. Everything from the non-traditional six pack hero that runs a marathon everyday to the teacher/student aspect. It was plain a good time. And yes, it was super hot. Don't miss this read. 100% the best of the series so far, I'm not sure anyone else will be able to beat it.
Read 2: i’m changing my rating slightly from five stars to 4.5 stars. I still thought this was a really fun read. However, there was a long part in the middle with a really really long sex scene that just completely dragged for me I could’ve used more plot there instead of just a continuous ongoing sex scene.
Plus, there was a tiny bit of conflict but there really wasn’t much, and I’m honestly not sure how they resolved it. Because even if she resigns from the class this semester Kane is correct and that she’ll never be able to take the class because he’s only one who teaches it. So I’m not really sure how her resigning first semester is going to help.

Plot: Maya is a teacher who is taking grad classes at the university. She has a seminar to take, and it turns out her teacher is Kane. But she already knows who he is; ever since she saw him on campus last semester, she's had a crush on him. Kane doesn't know who she is though until one night he sees her at a restaurant with her friends. He shamelessly eavesdrops and hears that she's about to sign up for a dating app. So he makes sure that he signs up to and matches with her. She agrees to a date with him, but he doesn't know that come Monday, she'll be his student.
Commentary: I've always wondered if there are different rules/expectation for grad students. I did my graduate work online so it never came up. Oh, and also I'm married! But at that point, everyone is definitely an adult. But there is still the matter of undue influence when it comes to grades, definitely, and the power imbalance due to that. I do wonder if it happens less in grad school - I mean, the aging academic, midlife crisis, sees a pretty young thing in undergraduate, that's taboo and alluring. But in grad school where the students are older? That's more like dating for marriage. This is all speculative and has very little to do with this book. Just musings.
Anyways, Maya has been crushing on Kane for a while, so I get why she wanted to take her chance. I also understand why she wanted to drop the class. I would always think that the other students would assume I earned my grades through the relationship rather than my academic effort. She made a good choice. I am glad she told him - can you imagine if she just walked into his class on Monday morning? He would have been so surprised! Them coming together was all due to coincidence and luck, but once they came together, it was sweet and dirty.
I also enjoyed the cameo from Knox and Lauren and their little girl (Hold You).

I dunno. This was a quick read with very little story. It consisted of inner monologues and sex scenes, repeating over and over. Ott insta love. This author only writes one thing, one way and it’s ok when I’m in the mood for it. This one was just blah. It promised professor/student taboo shit but really didn’t deliver. They resolved the taboo in five seconds and it was all very underwhelming. I’m in a huge slump, can’t find anything decent to read anymore. 😔

Are you ready for a short, sweet, steamy read? Kane and Maya have an instant pull but he is older and she has so much self doubt. When he overhears a private conversation between Maya and her friends he is ready to make a play for her.
Maya has admired Kane the professor from afar and has no expectations that they could ever be a couple but a gal can dream.
A dating app, anonymity, an immediate connection, dirty talk and it is on! This couple is sexy, sweet and are sizzling off pages.

I love that, even though I would prefer he were a virgin king, I would have been ok with that, especially since this book is a few years old, NR now embraces more virgin kings and queens that are each others first everything, but I braced myself that this would not be one of those, which I was ok with.

I don't like that she got on the site to begin with, (to her credit, her friends convinced her and she didn't want to because she is in love with Kane, the point is that she still joined.)He joined the dating app, because he overheard her be convinced to join so he did it to find her and make her choose him. It would be cute if her friend made a profile without her knowing or something. I did not care that she caved in and made the choice to join.
The story is short, she needs to be in his class to graduate, a class only he teaches and there is a policy of no dating between students and teachers. She wanted to know how it felt to be with him, because on Monday he teaches the class she will be in, and there is no drama or angst (which I am glad for). She keeps it from him, but then tells him and and he is ok with it, they then exchanged I love yous and that was sweet.
I will admit the signature NR sweetness, passion, breeding kink, and love is there still (it is much more intense in her recent dual virgin romances though, exponentially more passionate and the love more explosive).
I read it a while ago and I reread now, because Kane is Kenna's brother who is in the book I reread recently, "Deeply Hers", (which I recommend along with the first two books in the Carmichael series, all dual virgin romances I reread and plan to reread again and again). So this is an older book of NR, and I am glad that she doesn't write comments in her books like, 'this is the prettiest cunt I have ever seen' because I hate that so much! It just had me imagine the other women he fucked when he was younger. He is not a manwhore, he dated when he was younger, and I was ok with that knowing that in her earlier books, NR heroes were always experienced unfortunately. Now she gives us dual virgin goodness! I like that he doesnt understand women and gave up on dating for a long time, until we get to that long sex scene and that dreaded comment. He also said that it has been a while since his dick got that hard for anyone, yet another OW comparison, I don't want to know that his dick got hard for anyone but our heroine, so again, that contributed to the low rating.
I won't read it again, besides Nichole Rose no longer writes like that, she keeps the sweetness, the passion, the love, the intensity, the hot sex scenes, but no OW comparisons, no talk of a past, no 'this is the sweetest pussy I have ever seen' none of that are in her books lately. I am so glad!
Still won't reread this one, I forgot the story, the couple popped up in a recent book I adore, and I wanted to sate my curiosity by rereading it. Curiosity sated.

Oh my, where do I start?! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK! Kane is a growly, possessive, protective lawyer who is also a professor at the university where Maya takes classes. Kane overhears Maya and her girlfriends at a restaurant one day talking about joining a dating app to meet guys and hopefully weed out the bad ones. Kane falls for her just from listening to her talk and laugh with her girlfriends and decides to interrupt her outing to ask her out. Before he can “Ma” calls and he talks to her so long that Maya leaves so he decides he has to join the dating app to find her. Maya has been secretly in love with a professor at the school where she is taking classes and can not believe it when he messages her through the dating app she signed up for and asks her out. She agrees to go out with him and they hit it off and sparks fly! There is so much love and heat in this book you will need a fan! I LOVE how Kane loves is mom and sister and protects them even when they drive him crazy, and I can honestly hear him say Ma in my head when I read it, lol. He is the perfect person for Maya, who is sweet, caring, honest, and stronger than she thinks. Maya is so deserving of finding love after devoting so many years to her mom while she was sick. I loved these characters and could feel their love as it grew and stepped off the pages of this book. I would highly recommend this book to everyone!

Whenever I see Ms. Rose has a new book out, I get all giddy inside. I am like a kid at christmas, and I get a big huge smile on my face. This book was no difference. The fact that the MMC is already in love with the FMC just by the sound of her voice and her sassy attitude. I love that she saw him months before and had a thing for him but sadly b/c of something tragic, she needed to keep working through it just wasn't their time. But when it did become their time HOLY CANNOLI ! Ms.Rose writes some of the dirtiest mouth men , who just makes everything turn to a puddle. Kane was no different and Maya wasn't to shabby or shy either. Over all I loved it. I wish there had been just a tad more drama. I am always I sucker for a good misunderstanding. But Ms.Rose just know you made this woman cry with Kane's sweet words to Maya about her mother. From loosing my mom not that long ago it hit home with me in the best way.

Maya has been in love with Kane since she first saw him on campus. Kane has been too busy between running his family's law firm and teaching law. When he sees Maya at a dinner and overhears her talking about starting to date, he is going to stop at nothing to make sure it's only him she dates. Problem is he is going to be her professor starting soon. Someone is going to have to bend to make it work.
Super sweet, super hot over the top romance but I loved every second of it. Would definitely recommend this book!!!

Another great Nichole Rose read!
As always another great instalove story with spice and a little bit of drama from Nichole Rose. My favorite kinda of love at first site story. Maya and Kane are absolutely perfect together and I loved their story.

#learningcurve is another book in the multi author series #curvysoulmates. This one by @authornicholerose. This also happens to be my first book by this author.
Kane is intelligent, but broody as hell. He has the male equivalent of RBF and he knows it. But why change for anyone when you’re a lawyer and professor. He wasn’t there to make friends. Sitting at a restaurant one night he sees a woman who catches is full attention. While listening to her speak with her friends he hears she’s signing up for a dating app. Then he goes all caveman and decides to sign up too. Because if anyone is going to have her, it’s him.
Maya is sick of being alone. After taking care of her dying mother, she had been grieving for over a year. She needed to get back out there. All while trying to forget the guy she saw across campus. One she fell for just by seeing him. But thinking he’s unreachable, she decides to sign up for a dating app to move on. Until she gets a message from the last person she ever thought, but the one she wanted the most.
Instalove isn’t my favorite, i won’t lie. But man on man did these two take it to a new level. I can deal with an instalove but mixed with slow burn. This went from 0 to the moon in 20 pages. I wish that this book was longer to make more of a slow burn, I feel like I would have liked it a lot more. This book was ALL 🔥🔥. Holy moly did these two have explosive sexual thoughts/ wants. I’d love to try other books from this author and read a couple more in the series. Unfortunately this fell short for me.

Kane is intelligent, but broody as hell. He has the male equivalent of RBF and he knows it. But why change for anyone when you’re a lawyer and professor. He wasn’t there to make friends. While listening to her speak with her friends he hears she’s signing up for a dating app. Then he goes all caveman and decides to sign up too. Because if anyone is going to have her, it’s him.
Maya is sick of being alone. After taking care of her dying mother, she had been grieving for over a year. She needed to get back out there. All while trying to forget the guy she saw across campus. One she fell for just by seeing him. But thinking he’s unreachable, she decides to sign up for a dating app to move on. Until she gets a message from the last person she ever thought, but the one she wanted the most.
Instalove isn’t my favorite, i won’t lie. But man on man did these two take it to a new level. I can deal with an instalove but mixed with slow burn. This went from 0 to the moon in 20 pages. Kane and Maya had both fell hard and fast for each other. For Maya though, she didn't know how to approach the sexy older professor and figuring he was out of her league she decided to try to move on. So, taking her friends advice, she signed up for Curve Connection. Imagine her surprise when she is matched to Kane.
Kane overhears his lamb's conversation with her friends while they're at lunch. He falls hard and fast. Just as he gets up to approach Maya, he gets a call from his Mom and Maya slips away. But Kane knows where to find her, Curve Connection.
They both slightly deceive the other but it's all good because they were both all in from the start. I love how Kane was determined to take care of Maya since she's always been the one taking care of others. This was a fast read that packed a lot of heat and love.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story! Kane is so swoonworthy as he sweeps Maya off her feet. The story is well written, fast paced, with plenty of steam enough to burn the kindle! There's passion aplenty! The characters are likeable and relateable. Told from dual POV reveals intimately their thoughts feelings and emotions as they explore their relationship. There's an epilogue and a HEA

Such a hot story. Kane is an alpha possessive lawyer who's also a professor that teaches at the university where Maya takes classes. He hears Maya and her girlfriend talking about a dating app they are going to join. Kane is mesmerized by her voice so he decides to join the app so he can fine her. Maya has been crushing on one of the professors at school and she's thrilled when he messages her asking for a date. Right at the beginning sparks fly between Maya and Kane. This is a great story with plenty of steam with lots of heat and love. I have read three stories in this series and I can't wait to read more. I enjoyed reading the love story between Kane and Maya. They way she described seeing him the year before they actually met and how she loved him. Then how he fell in love listening to her talk to her friends and saying she was going to join the Curves app. He went home to join it too just to get them together. This book was amazing! It had me laughing so hard because Maya and Kane were both so obsessed with each other but kept trying to hide the depth of their obsession from each other. But obliviously Kane being an over the top alpha he couldn’t help himself from showing it. I just loved these 2 together. The only thing is the epilogue felt very rushed I felt like it missed a bunch of information on the couple. Did maya finish school? Is Kane still a professor? Things like that I felt the book was too short and missed wrapping up those storylines but otherwise thoroughly enjoyed!

I own and have read all of Nichole’s books, I love-adore all of them! She is an amazing instalove, steamy romance author. This book was amazing and hit me right in the feels. If you love OTT possessive, steamy, bossy alpha men then this book is for you! The heroine is well educated, wicked smart, the alpha fell for he like a ton of bricks. She is his whole world. I loved how steamy and sweet he was to her. This book was amazing. You must get it!

Omg! I will never get tired of Nichole Rose's books! I absolutly loved meeting Kane and Maya and reading their love story. As with all Nichole's awesome books it's a short, sweet, sexy and hot page turner with a garenteed HEA.
Kane is a growly, alpha who knows what he wants and he want Maya. Maya has been admiring Kane from afar for a long time but thinks he is out of her league. Kane pulls out all the stop to get his girl even if he has to sign up to a dating site. These to are too sweet for words!

The author has given us a fast paced older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Kane and Maya and does not let go. She saw him on campus and was immediately drawn to him but too afraid to make the first move. He hears her voice at a restaurant and decides then and there to have her in his life. Once they meet, neither one can ignore their connection but what happens when he finds out that she is going to be his student?

Learning Curve was a fun and classic insta romance we have come to love from Nichole Rose. Maya fell in love from a distance at first sight, and Kane fell for Maya the first time he heard her sweet voice. This book was a swoon fest and the little secret each of them thought they were keeping from each other was so pure and adorable. I fell in love with their characters and the way they loved each other so hard from start to finish. Pick this up if you are in the mood for a cut end quick read with a side of steamy romance!

There is only one word for this book: HOT!
So far, this book has been the hottest in the series. I mean right off the bat, you can’t wait for these 2 to get together. It’s nice that she knows about him and has a head start on liking him, understatement! But the fact that he wants her just from overhearing a conversation in a restaurant, that’s pretty awesome. Kane is pretty close to perfect. And he is everything Maya needs to get herself together after losing her mom. They are great together. Loved everything about this book!

This has everything I LOVE about Nichole Rose books. Strong, alpha hot hero and adorable, sweet heroine. I love the lengths Kane goes to to track down Maya after overhearing her conversation. I love that he had no idea she was talking about him! It made it that much more sweet when these two came clean. I love suspending real life and living in Nicole’s world. Such a great quick read.
