A very handy book! Nothing beats hands on experience with a horse to actually learn how to work around them, but this book has things spelled out. For instance, I always have been able to cue a canter, but I kinda just DID it. When riding a green horse, I did my usual cue, and it didn't get the best response (she cantered, but only after objecting for a while). This book not only tells what the basic cue is, but WHY, and sometimes having that "why" in mind makes all the difference.

Too vague for my purposes, and too complicated... Seems like more for an intermediate horse person.
