I tend to go for a little bit more in-depth erotica. I've read erotica as a hobby for over 30 years but I enjoy a story with a little bit of something extra - it can be romance, conflict, or whatever to ramp up the passion, because without passion, all you have is Tab A being pulled by Hand B, or Tab B inserting into Slot B. Passion, and please don't mistake passion for love, needs to be there in erotica to get some depth to the story. That said, this was ok. It was a 6 on the hot scale of 1-10, but the story lacked in the telling. I've read some other reviews of her books, and know that Kiki writes short, hot little stories, but I think my palate as far as erotica goes wants more sophistication, more passion, and less juvenile sex.

I thought this book would have been a little more interesting.

It didn't really live up to my expectations, and being the first in the series, it doesn't exactly encourage me to want to read the rest.

This was steamy, cute. Claire acted professionally. The one time she decides to be a bit adventurous she gets caught BUT her boss isn’t angry. Evidently he liked her technique and wants a session with her 😂

Well written, but I found it too short for comfort so it ended up feeling flat in the end. It basically just jumped straight into Clair and her two brief sexual encounters and before I could blink it was over leaving me feeling extremely dissatisfied and slightly bewildered (and thinking what the fuck was that supposed to be???). Well worth reading once but definitely not a second time. It was mediocre at the best of times, and boringly predicable at the worst. But if it’s a quickie of hot read you are looking for then I highly recommend this book to you because ultimately you can hit it and quit it without a single feeling of regret afterward.

This was one steamy, quick, read by Kiki! In this story, as in her other books that I have read, she packs so much actual story into so few pages, and really makes every word count. Oh, and SMOKING HOT situations too!
This is one of the books in the Sensing Lust series, and I can't wait to read the rest!!!
