This third installment was my least favorite. Granted, the final 25 %, which were hot and emotive and included not only great smexy times but also some deep conversations, 'saved' Naughty Bits Part III for me and I did enjoy that part very much. But otherwise it didn’t have that huge emotional or intense pull that I felt with the two previous novellas. The scene at 62 % didn’t cut it for me at all. Madison’s crying jag and outpour and the reference of yet another BDSM-can-do-that-to-you-and-will-help-you-to-heal but also Logan’s response “…, make it all better. Would you like that?" were the triggers for my serious eye-roll moment. Cheesy, much? I was actually at an all-time low with this novella at that specific moment and felt kinda bummed. All the more, considering Logan just stuck his dick in Madison's pussy for the first time and I expected so much more than that. But wait a sec, it did pick up again for me and, of course, I don’t have any qualms whatsoever to blame Logan. That man simply made this novella for me and I’m happy to say that I’m still swooning over Logan and his sexy-as-sin voice, his gentle yet firm hands, his commanding presence, and his smart and perceptive mind. You get the gist. I’m still under his irresistible spell. He's simply to die for!
I mentioned in my review of Naughty Bits Part II: The Training Session that I don’t see Logan and I’m more than a little bit relieved that my wish will come true in the final installment Naughty Bits Part IV The Highest Bid: Logan is a In consequence, I’m looking forward to the last part of this series and the Logan was talking about.

I enjoyed the last part more than this but we finally got here a more emotional development!!
Madison has come so far from the repressed, uncertain woman we met in book one. She’s finally accepted her sister Alice’s passing and is ready to embrace the submissive identity she’s denied for years. But being Madison, she needs to be absolutely sure, so she decides to try being a Domme first.
Yes, you read that right. With the help of Logan, Troy and Mistress Slade, she explores the other side of the power dynamic and let me tell you, it’s a revelation. Not just for her, but for the reader too. This book beautifully underscores the heart of BDSM: choice, consent and trust.
And Logan? SWOON AGAIN!! This man is the definition of patience and devotion. He never pressures Madison, never rushes her. Instead, he gives her the space, support and safety to explore, even when it means watching her try to dominate someone else. He knows she was meant for him but he lets her find her own way there.
What I loved most was how this volume contrasts healthy, consensual power exchange with a relationship devoid of it. It’s a powerful lesson, one that empowers Madison and the reader. We also get more of Troy and Shay and their dynamic adds even more depth to Madison’s understanding of submission.
Madison’s growth is incredible to witness. She’s owning her desires, running Naughty Bits with growing confidence and finally realizing that submission isn’t about weakness, it’s about strength, trust and mutual respect.

They still have lots of navigating but it's becoming easier as Logan is patient and ever direct with Madison. Their talks together as they begin their journey are heartfelt, sincere and real. Can they have a D/s relationship as well as a normal relationship?
"Put your hands on my arms, Madison. Hold on to me. Look in my face and know it's about way the hell more than restraints or commands.
He'd been helping her explore her submission fantasies all along, but with every step along the way, he's also somehow kept the focus on the reality of their relationship as well."

Part II of Naughty Bits gave an idea what the third part would be about: it promised this time some pain would be mixed with pleasure in Bound to Please, and it delivered. Madison enjoyed it more than she expected, and I enjoyed reading about it, but that was no surprise at all. ;) Those scenes are amongst those I look forward to most in this author's books, because she writes them so well, so well I find myself disappointed when the Dom/Domme in question doesn't have a sadistic side. Logan seems to have one; I just wish he'd unleash it more often. But I understand that would not be the right way with Madison, with all her issues and all. However, she did discover she's more of a masochist than she imagined in that session that pulled unexpected reactions out of her.
All in all, I liked that part, but there was just one thing that didn't go as well as I had hoped. Sex. To be clear, it wasn't that the sex was bad. Far from it. It was more that after so much build-up, I expected more than what I read. It was kind of anticlimactic. However, the second time was much, much, much better. That entire last scene was amazing--sweet, emotional, hot--all in one. It also gave a glimpse of what is to come in the fourth, last part: enacting Madison's auction fantasy. It should be good.
But before all that happened, there were two more significant parts in the story.
First was when Madison came face to face to Veronica, a woman in an abusive relationship with a violent asshole posing as a "Master". It's easy to forget the harsh reality has those people lurking around when I'm reading about these incredible male specimens that are the heroes in Ms. Hill's books. In that situation Logan once again proved his worth, underscoring once again to Madison what a good man he is.
The second was Madison trying out the Mistress role with Troy. A hot teacher disciplining a misbehaving student--fun times. But as fun as it was, it was not not enough. Madison realized who and what she was, so it was well worth it. Plus, it gave a glimpse in the relationship between Troy and Shale.
Now, time for the finale!

I'm enjoying this serialised novel so much more now that I waited until all the parts were available so I could read them all quite close together. This story is getting hotter and hotter and I'm desperate for Madison to give in to her desire to let Logan claim her!
Madison has come such a long way since the first book, she is growing in confidence daily and it's clear that her sister really did know what was best for her all along. I loved Logan from the beginning and I've enjoyed seeing him introduce Madison to the BDSM lifestyle. It's something that has intrigued her for such a long time but because of a few disastrous experiences with previous boyfriends she became afraid of her desires and felt that there was something wrong with her. Logan is giving her the information she needs to make an informed decision about what she wants, she gets to see the truth of the lifestyle not just from him but also from Troy and Shay (another couple I adore and would love to spend more time with!) and has started to understand that even though subs give up control they still have a lot of power in their relationships.
I love that Logan encourages Madison to explore her sexuality. He makes it quite clear what he hopes they will become to each other but he knows that she needs to take things slowly and he's willing to wait as long as it takes. He has a lot more patience than I do because I'm desperate to see her finally make the decision to put her trust completely in Logan!

An emotional & sensual journey of a woman who thought she lost everything.
Joey W. Hill has recently become my favorite BDSM writer. I am thoroughly enjoying this series.
It will be bittersweet for me when the last book comes out in July. Ms. Hill, in book one started us on a journey with Madison when she leaves the life she had in the big city to come run her sisters erotic store "Naughty Bits" after her sister passes away from an illness that Madison didn't even know she was suffering from until days before her death.
When I first decided to read this series I thought it was going to be a campy fun sort of read. But I was mistaken from the first page of book one I was emotionally invested in these characters. Having sisters of my own I cried every time Madison spoke of her childhood with her sister and of the time she lost being angry with Alice for "butting into her life too much". Madison meets Logan the owner of the hardware store next door, and a sexual dominate. Alice "gave Madison" to Logan according to him and a letter that Alice left her sister. It seems Alice knew her sister would need Logan and he has discovered in book three that he needs her as well.
The way these two characters are growing together through friendship and BDSM scene play is just beautiful to read. Every time I read Ms. Hill's BDSM stories I feel like I am learning more and more about the lifestyle. I am not in it but the idea of it intrigues me, how most people on the outside would think its "abuse" or "degrading to women" when in fact its the exact opposite. Well done Joey W. Hill you have portrayed a controversial lifestyle in a very informative and classy way.
This series has kept me holding my breath waiting for the next one part. I can't wait to see how she ends this wonderful tale of Dominance/submission and love.

Part III, Bound to Please, is the continuation of Madison's exploration as a submissive with Logan guiding her through her journey. And what a wonderful, exciting and well Hot journey it is. Madison explores the BDSM world and her submissiveness and also her growth as a Lingerie Shop owner. Being able to connect and guide her customers has helped her grow and accept her own true identity. Logan is the perfect Dom both as trainer and more personally as a lover. Ms. Hill has a unique gift of combining the psychological and the emotional with eroticism for an amazing unique journey of her characters lives. (the little bit of preview for part IV at the promises a highly charged ending to Madison and Logan's story)

The tantalizing scorching heat of the next novella in Naughty Bits III: Bound to Please by Joey W. Hill was not a disappointment. Ms. Hill third book in the novella is hot, sexy, and leaves nothing out. Her ability to suck you into her characters is a blessing. Naughty Bits III, leaves off in a perfect timing of the highest. Leaving you needy and wanting.

Logan continues to open Madison up more and more with respect to her emtions and palpable feelings. She has her setbacks and is not ready to go all in but she is beginning to understand why she's had so many relationship failures. A major turning point is when she finally agrees to a pain/pleasure session with her Master. It follows her foray into being a Domme. While she initially enjoys the session using Troy as her sub she realizes she truly is a submissive. Her cathartic response to Logan's discipline cracks open her soul allowing her to release her long buried pain.

3.5 I LOVE LOGAN Stars!!!!

In this installment we continue with Madison's journey to accepting her inner submissive through the help of the new love of my life Logan.
As Madison fights this process it starts to drag on a bit for me. I know she has issues as everyone does but her wall of resistance was getting a bit old for me.
What makes this series fabulous hands down is Logan!!!! He coaxes Madison's truth and emotions out of her with his domineering and loving ways.
Logan has just as much baggage as Madison does, but he uses it to empower himself instead of letting it weigh him down like Madison is doing. But one spanking at a time and Logan is freeing Madison's true inner self. So, this way she can let go and be free and learn to truly love and accept love in return.
The journey between Logan and Madison is a slow erotic journey where the heart blossoms and the steam rises. I love the way Joey W. Hill writes and by far she is becoming one of my favorite erotica writers. I can't wait to read the next installment where I think Logan is going to blow away my heart and loins. The installment may have not been my favorite of the bunch but what makes this part enjoyable is .... Logan.

Madison’s journey continues:
Through open, honest conversation with Logan, combined with a couple of life experiences with customers, Madison is learning to parse through the white noise in her life and get to the substance that is in her heart; to trust it, to trust Logan and to trust herself.
Part of Logan’s therapeutic approach if you will, was to let Madison explore all of her sides, her curiosities about herself, so that she could finally see for herself the true nature of her character, and of her very being. Through a staged exploration of her control-side with Troy as her sub and Logan and Shale as her mentors, she discovered her thoughts and her very being were strongly associated with being Troy, with being in his place at that moment and all moments, and under the command and protection of her Master.
…“You wanted to try the other side, and you enjoyed it.” A rueful look crossed his face. “I won’t say it was enjoyable for me to watch you touch another man, though I did enjoy watching how you had fun with it, the revelations you made. But at a certain point, you crossed the line between fun and something deeper. I saw the click. You not only picked up on the deeper layer of what this means to Troy, but what it means to you. If it was all just fun and games, just a sexual adventure, you could have seen it through to a different end, but you sensed there was something more. And wouldn’t life be all peaches and cream if self-actualization were that easy? Bippity, boppity , boo and you not only are, you like what you are. While a reader can certainly enjoy Logan’s powers of persuasion, they can also identify with Madison’s tenacious, intrinsic self-doubt and the vagaries of finding insight.
As always, Ms. Hill’s characters, their lives and their hardships ring true. There is a core association, a visceral attachment to the feelings and fears that allow a reader to know that behind the fiction, there is also something tangible to take with them.
I’m looking forward to the magic and the conclusion in Part IV.

Through open, honest conversation with Logan, combined with a couple of life experiences with customers, Madison is learning to parse through the white noise in her life and get to the substance that is in her heart; to trust it, to trust Logan and to trust herself.
Part of Logan’s therapeutic approach if you will, was to let Madison explore all of her sides, her curiosities about herself, so that she could finally see for herself the true nature of her character, and of her very being. Through a staged exploration of her control-side with Troy as her sub and Logan and Shale as her mentors, she discovered her thoughts and her very being were strongly associated with being Troy, with being in his place at that moment and all moments, and under the command and protection of her Master.
…“You wanted to try the other side, and you enjoyed it.” A rueful look crossed his face. “I won’t say it was enjoyable for me to watch you touch another man, though I did enjoy watching how you had fun with it, the revelations you made. But at a certain point, you crossed the line between fun and something deeper. I saw the click. You not only picked up on the deeper layer of what this means to Troy, but what it means to you. If it was all just fun and games, just a sexual adventure, you could have seen it through to a different end, but you sensed there was something more. And wouldn’t life be all peaches and cream if self-actualization were that easy? Bippity, boppity , boo and you not only are, you like what you are. While a reader can certainly enjoy Logan’s powers of persuasion, they can also identify with Madison’s tenacious, intrinsic self-doubt and the vagaries of finding insight.
As always, Ms. Hill’s characters, their lives and their hardships ring true. There is a core association, a visceral attachment to the feelings and fears that allow a reader to know that behind the fiction, there is also something tangible to take with them.
I’m looking forward to the magic and the conclusion in Part IV.

So much happened in this penultimate installment of NAUGHTY BITS that it’s hard to know what to cover in this review. Madison has become more comfortable working in the shop and being around Logan, yet there’s still the nagging feeling that she’s not quite ready to submit completely to either one. Now that the reality that her sister Alice isn’t ever coming back has finally sunk in, Madison is ready to move past all her previous failed relationships toward a new life where she embraces the submissive self she’s denied for all these years. But first, she needs to try just one last thing, one more variation that will require the full cooperation of Troy, Mistress Slade, and Logan himself. Because how can Madison be entirely sure she should be Logan’s submissive if she hasn’t tried being a Domme first?
Logan must be the most patient man that ever lived, for he never hesitates to do everything Madison needs to give her the confidence to choose him as he has already chosen her, as she was already chosen for him by Alice. That’s really what BOUND TO PLEASE is all about: showing the reader the value of choice and full consent, both by demonstrating it in its full flower, and also by proving its innate value when we see another relationship entirely absent of consent. It’s an essential lesson for both Madison and the reader, and provides the sense of security required for both Madison and Logan to take another step closer to the happy ending waiting for them in the final installment. Their HEA may be inevitable, but it won’t be a sure thing until it finally arrives. And after these first three fantastic chapters of NAUGHTY BITS, Part IV is sure to be just as amazing.

this book blows all the charts there is and leaves you crazy with wanting more and repeating the same thing all over !!! it's a book beautifully written about the road to self-discovery and what it means to find all the layers that make you - YOU and doing it with someone how loves and supports everything and every layer there is to you ... and who also gives you what you need.
Logan and MadGirl <-- love this !, are continuing their journey into themselves and Madison is trying to find out what is it that makes her tick and how far can she go !! one thing that is great is that Joey writes so beautifully about the things that you want to know about this kink - what it feels like to be top/bottom and what goes through once head and what does he/she feels ... you just don't read about it, you are part of it in the best way possible. and I love how it's all about the woman being strong (being top or bottom) and the men always allow themselves to show their soft side and admit to fears. --> “As for me, even when you’re not on your knees to me, I want more.” Logan <---
you have to give kudos to Logan's patience cause I was at the point to shake and strangle Madison but even at he's best Joey gives him the sneaky skill of making her admit to herself and doing what he wants ... hints the book 2, 3 and I believe 4 :)

Naughty Bits Part III: Bound to Please 4.5 Stars
This is a part 3 of the new novella series by the wonderfully talented Joey W Hill being released monthly. I have to be honest, if I see her name, then it is an automatic purchase. I am never disappointed. After her sister Alice passes away, leaving Madison her Lingerie shop Naughty Bits, Madison's life changes in so many ways. In this book, Logan encourages Madison to open not only her mind but her heart to him and the BDSM lifestyle she so obviously craves. Their journey is spine tingling. Madison is so scared to open herself to the possibility of a relationship and Logan, in true Alpha form demands she do no less. What transpires is an exciting and sexy path to fulfillment both emotionally and sexually for both Madison and Logan. The sex is scorchingly hot in this book, as one expects from Joey W HIll. Logan even encourages Madison to experiment by dominationg Troy under his supervision along with Troy's Mistress. What transpires becomes a life altering moment in Madisons mind and heart. She truly realises the depths of her need to submit to her Master, Logan. Whilst Logan, in turn realises just how important Madison is to his life. I can hardly wait until July to read the conclusion to this wonderful adventure, waiting to see where Ms.Hill takes us as the story builds to it's conclusion. Well done Joey W Hill another excellent read......

This was such a disappointment, especially since the other 2 books got 5 stars. Madison is coming to the point to where she thinks she is falling in love with Logan. She is becoming so open.She tells him so much that he can have total power over her, even though he wouldn't take advantage of her. Throughout this book that broad was effing around. Logan is serious about having a relationship with her and she keeps doing the bus stop on this brother. Make up your darn mind Madison!!!! I can't just put it all on her. For some reason he falls for that foolishness she puts out there.
Why is she so scared when they are on the same page? In her mind she had claimed him as her master but when he states that when she keeled in front of him everything in him screamed "mine" then she wants to scurry away. Why she scared? Logan is willing to help her through all her insecurities.
The conversation about whether Madison choose her men in the past relationships our did they choose her was deep. They both seem like they don't just want to be an option or style for each other. That man really wants her. He stated that he would do anything for her to choose him. That's a freaking man that wants a woman. However, she is still having a problem fully trusting him.
This book was not what I expected. I went downhill for me. Hope the next and final book gets so much better.

They've messed around a bit as Madison explores the submissive side of herself. Logan has promised Madison a session to explore the pain/pleasure connection, she just has to tell him when.
Madison has a history of failed relationships. Ones where she has invested herself 150% but her partner never even got close to 100%. She's determined to protect her heart by avoiding relationships altogether. Every step that Logan makes toward a relationship made me cheer while every resistance from Madison left me utterly frustrated.
My biggest complaint about this one (and the series) is that it's being released in a serial format. Which I hate. I'm not a patient person. But I've hung with this series this long. I can't wait to read the 4th installment!

I love this story. I have enjoyed Logan so much and the man he is. I love reading his insight and the way he understands what he is but is willing to let Madison discover what she is. Yes the sex in the story is hot but the connection between them is so much hotter. While a Dom he has a softness about him that melts the heart.
The only problem is that I keep having to wait for the next installment. This is a new trend that is really not one of my favorites. But for this story I will keep waiting as long as I need to.

Yeay! The first book for the year! The story continues with Madison exploring her BDSM side and trying out her hand in being a Mistress with the help of Logan, Troy and his Mistress Shale. Lots of hot spanking action.
I love the development between Madison and Logan. Madison is almost convinced that she has found what she has been yearning for in her life: to be loved and owned by a Master such as Logan. But she's still not fully convinced. What will it take for her to realize she is in love with Logan and is brave enough to trust him fully? What is it about sexy librarian outfits that makes a man salivate?
Playing out her ultimate fantasy as a sex slave might just do the trick. But that's for the next book.

This has been my favorite installment so far! Troy's training is completed but the buildup in the first two short stories was not concluded in this third part. Instead it was expanded further and we spent some time with Troy's better half! A hot Domme and we got to see a bit of her style in the flesh! At the same time we saw Logan and Madison take steps into building a relationship beyond just the Dom/sub elements we've seen so far.
I look forward to the fourth and final installment! I hope that Logan gets to take the kid gloves off and that Madison can overcome her trepidation and fully accept what's being laid before her.

We're finally getting deeper into Logan and Madison's relationship in this third installment in the Naughty Bits serial. This was the strongest segment yet, and I really enjoyed it overall.
I continue to adore the characters - and I loved the addition of a player mentioned previously in the story, Shale, Troy's mistress. She was an interesting addition and I loved seeing the other couple, in addition to just Logan and Madison.
The plot is starting to heat up even more! I am quite antsy to see how things continue and see the overall arc of how Logan and Madison's relationship will pan out.
I definitely need to check out some of Joey W Hill's other books as this!

I think I’ve found what may be an upside to reading a serial (but I think it may only apply with an author of Joey W. Hill’s caliber). Having time between each installment allows you time to think and reflect on the characters and what they are going through. I find it has enhanced this story and given me more time to reflect and sympathize with Madison. I am enjoying watching Madison & Logan each growing in a very real way. This installment allows each of them to step outside their comfort zone and learn from it. I cannot wait for the conclusion.

I felt that the third installment was just as sexy as the first two, but I also felt there was a backing off from the Sub/Dom part of the relationship and a more forward progression into an emotionally intimate one. The less rash, less rough but no less sexy Joey is an explosively talented writer of many a fans love scenes. (They are steamy!) I finally feel a connection more than just the sex building for Madison and Logan into something that may be all together more emotionally fulfilling in the end.

This third instalment shows the relationship that continues to grow between Logan and Madison.
Logan continues his careful yet firm teaching of showing Madison what she needs, him as her master. There are a good few in depth discussions between the two where Logan really shows his maturity and understanding that Madison is struggling still to accept the new world that she is entering.
