This book is quiet a good introduction to using Matlab for the modelling of electrical machinery (my main focus is induction motors). The analysis is relatively simple and does not include a full model of a motor drive (PWM / DC link / etc.). If you are starting out modelling induction motors it is worth reading as an introduction.
