This book is FASCINATING, STUNNING and STEAMY from beginning to end. As the 5th book in this series I have to say it’s a favourite.
Kraven and Penny’s story consumed me.
I couldn’t put this book down because I was so captivated with them.

These characters are so engaging, interesting and very enticing and their story is intense, alluring and REMARKABLE.
The undeniable chemistry between Kraven and Penny is off the charts HOT!!!
Kraven’s bonding with his brother was also touching.

Kraven is swoon worthy, very dominant, protective and dirty!!!
Penny is wonderful sassy, tenacious and endearing. I really liked her and her love for her pup is so special and cute.

Get lost in this dark mafia romance that is filled with action, suspense and a whole lotta passion and feels.

A definite MUST read!!!!!

Part of the Lords of Corruption series each can be read as a standalone but you might want to hang on and you might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way! Kraven sexy as all get out Pakhan a job he didn’t want he isn’t a man you want on your radar everyone knows steal or betray the family where you are headed, he is dangerous, ruthless, on a good day, deadly every day wears it like a clock he isn’t surprised often or caught off guard but that is what happens when a young women saves him and that put her on his radar in a unique kind of way makes him want to know more about her. Penny is sweet with a touch of spice extremely down on her luck losing her job, put out of her home, low on money but she refuses to let her Remington her baby starve so she tries to pull an eat then dash but it is in her to do things like that so it doesn’t go as planned but in a round about way she saves the hottest guy she has ever met and she knows nothing about the Bratva until she is on his radar. They meet the attraction is there but with no home why would a man like him be interested in her but we all know dogs can tell good from bad especially when it comes to people but throw in family for him it is his brothers, a hit put out on him, trust issues for both of them, a past that just won’t stop, will they be willing to take the chance on each other, a chance on being honest about their past so they can move forward, and where are they headed maybe a little happiness?

Simply wonderful read that I enjoyed reading immensely, cheat characters and scenario
This was a simply wonderful read and I guarantee that like myself you will be drawn in by these two wonderful characters and I know that you will be unable to put this book down until you know the outcome of this book.
Penny Valentine has lost everything her job and her home and now the only thing she has that means the world to her is her puppy Remmington Steele and even though she is starving and cannot stand it anymore so decides to go in to a bar and eat and then skip out on the tab.
Unfortunately, she had been caught by the owner, broke away and then had stopped a gunman from shooting Kraven Sokolov a Russian business man that is well known in Las Vegas, he knows that her life is now in danger a decides that he has to keep her safe and so decides to take her to his home and keep her there along with her puppy.
As time passed the couple realise that they are actually very much attracted to each other and Kraven is unused to having someone actually giving him a piece of her mind when she thinks he is wrong, she also tells him when he makes her happy and knows that he will punish her if she puts herself at risk.
This is a simply wonderful read and you will love all of the ups and down I guarantee this to you.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

This is Kraven and Penny's story and the 5th Book in the Lords of Corruption Series. Penny Valentine is a dancer and she has moved to Las Vegas to start over. It is just Penny and her dog Remington. Penny was working at a club, but lost her job and apartment. Penny and Remington are now living in her car. Penny has little money and tries to get herself and Remington something to eat, but things go wrong. This is how Penny meets Kraven Sokolov the Pakhan of the Las Vegas Bratva. Penny jumps in and saves Kraven from being shot. Kraven takes Penny and Remington to his home, where they will be safe. He is very attracted to Penny and wants to know more about her. This is an exciting read with suspense, action, danger, desire and steamy scenes.

I love this series! Kraven is the Pakhan and can be brutal when necessary. He does not trust easily and has lots of enemies. Penny is just a girl who is trying to survive. She’s been fired from her job and thrown out of her apartment along with her dog Remington. Living out of her car, she is so hungry she decides that she will “dine and dash”. Kraven is at a meeting in the little restaurant that Penny decides to eat at. When they lock eyes, there is some sort of spark. When Penny goes to leave, there is a commotion, and she ends up saving Kraven from being killed.

With Kraven being the Pakhan, he now knows that Penny is in danger and will become a target for his enemies. He takes her in, but has a hard time trusting her – is she really who she says she is? How did she happen to be there? Does he have a traitor in his organization? When things start happening, will Kraven lose out on the only thing that has made him happy, and will he act before he thinks things through? Penny has everything that Kraven needs – she is feisty, sassy and does not fear him like everyone else. Who is the traitor and will the Brotherhood step in and help him out?

Kraven Sokolov was not a good man. He didn’t tolerate being betrayed and stolen from. He certainly didn’t want the title of Pakhan. When he is saved by a woman with red hair, he is stunned. There is something about her that draws him to her. Penny is down and out. Just has no home, job, and low on money. She needs a break. She certainly isn’t about to let her baby Remington starve. When she tries to eat and dash, it doesn’t go well. Even worse, she saves a very important, hot and sexy Bratva. Now what’s a girl to do?

You have to love this one. Kraven is a strong leader but he is having serious problems with his brothers and someone wanting him dead. We learn a lot about his rise as well as past. Penny has a past too. I love her dog’s name Remington Steele. I just laughed when I read that. I loved the show. Her pup is a sweetie and we all know dogs can tell when someone is bad. Breaking through trust is an issue with both. Their passion is hot. Vissarian is misunderstood. Kraven is a great addition to the Brotherhood. The Death Squad is becoming more bold.

As she is being interrogated she realises that a man has arrived with a gun about to shoot her interrogator, so she saves his life. Kraven Sokolov is unsure about whether he can trust Penny, but knows she now has a target on her back and wants to protect her, especially as he is attracted to her. She is different and not afraid to stand up to him. As more attempts are made Kraven becomes more suspicious of those around him and with The Death Squad also lurking in the background, Kraven will have to make some difficult decisions, as will Penny. Jam-packed with drama, intrigue and suspense, this hot and steamy read will literally have you on the edge of your seat as you read it. Be prepared to read this in one sitting as you won't be able to put it down.

Lord of Vice is Book 5 in the Lords of Corruption series and follows Kraven Sokolov and Penny Valentine. While it's a standalone the series is interconnected with other characters so I highly recommend you read them all to get the overall picture.
Wow just wow this series keeps getting better and better and I didn't think that was possible.
Kraven and Penny meet under unusual circumstances when she's in the wrong place at the wrong time or maybe the right time considering what happened. Now life as she knows it is going to change. Danger is coming!
You'll see a side of Kraven that very few see and you'll love Penny she's a wildfire willing to scorch whoever gets in her way plus that wicked tongue that's like a knife ready to put everyone in their place.
Their story will take you on a wild ride of vengeance, danger, murder, betrayal, secrecy and suspense mixed in with sizzling hot chemistry, unwavering loyalty, determination and an adorable dog named Remington.

The "Lords of Corruption" series by Piper Stone gets better and better with each book. Each is a page-turner that grabs the reader from beginning to end, only to leave you excited for the next book's publication. This book is about Kraven Sokolov, the Pakhan of Las Vegas, Penny Valentine, a hopeful dancer with horrible luck, and her furry best friend, Remington Steele. When Penny tries to get a free meal in a restaurant, she's caught but ends up saving Kraven's life from an attempted assassination. Besides being grateful, he is attracted to her, and concerned for her safety, so he keeps her for her protection. But there is so much else going on. The storyline is fast-paced, well well-developed, with compelling characters, sizzle, steam, action, drama, and more. Another great addition to this great series.

excellent read

Really enjoyed this story. Penny and her pup are done on there luck and a series of unfortunate events for penny means she ends up sat in a restaurant shovelling food into her tummy and then trying to skip out on the bill. On her way out the door reflect takes over and she saves the life of Kraven. From then on its a whirlwind of steamy hot sex with rounds of dominating discipline and a man who thought he could near have a family learning that red penny was all he needed to shift his thoughts to one of love and laughter. It brings the brotherhood into the mix and gunfire and drama all the way through. I did find this one a bit overly descriptive with a lot of repetitive thoughts and feeling between the main characters. But a part from that it was a excellent storyline and the added extra of little Remington the pup playing a large role in their story was a nice little touch. Worth a read and enjoying this series a lots

A masterful whodunit loaded with an intense rounds of steam!
I fell in love with Penny as she struggles to make a living for her and her puppy away from her abusive ex back in Virginia. Without a job and kicked out of her apartment, she finds herself living in her car in Vegas under a shade tree on the streets when she smells the most delicious food. Going against everything she believes, she does the unthinkable and finds herself foiling an attempt to kill Kraven. Kraven knows that the strong-willed and beautiful Penny will now be in the enemy’s crosshairs, so forces her to stay with him for her safety. The magnetism between the two is through the roof while the danger gets to hair-raising levels! Add in a visit from the Santos brothers of The Brotherhood to shed a light on the danger Kraven is in and there is no way to put the book down until you turn the last page!

Penny has only been in Sin City for a few months and things have not been going well for her. After being threatened of being trafficked, she makes a run for it and is living out of her car with her dog. She is down to her last few dollars and hungry. She goes into a restaurant with no money to pay. She ends up saving the guy that was stealing food from.

Kraven Sokolov is the head of the Las Vegas Bratva. When the woman saves him from being shot, he does not know if she is part of it. He decides to keep her close as now there is a threat on her head.

The more time he spends with her, the more he wants to claim her. Can he keep her safe when threat keeps coming closer? There intense sexual scenes and past abuse.

She arrived back at her shared flat to find her property being thrown out the door. Broke and hungry she reluctantly decided to eat and run at a diner, but that gets complicated as well. She is caught by Kraven Sokolov but then she spots someone about to shoot him. Instead of running she saves Kraven's life. He realises that she now has a target on her back and that he needs to keep her safe. He also finds that he wants her. More attacks leave Penny thinking she needs to get away. Will she survive this relationship?

This is part of a series but it reads fine as a standalone.

The Lords Of Corruption series brings us Lord Of Vice this time and is Kraven and Penny's story. It's very intense, emotional and raw. Penny had no idea what she was getting into when she stopped at a little out of the way diner and Kraven had no idea that his future had just stepped through the door. The chemistry is instantaneous and completely explosive between them. It doesn't take Penny long to realize that what Kraven wants, he gets and he's determined that this fierce, smart mouthed redhead is going to be his.

"I make the rules. You’re going to follow them.”

Lord Of Vice is a great addition to this series and will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. It's a great age gap read that pulls you in and carries it's readers along for the journey.

Another great story!

Kraven was a tough nut,like every mafia guy,until he set eyes on Penny and her dog Remington! She save him once but twice.He keeps getting attack and he's not sure who is behind it,he doesn't trust Penny at first but she proves him wrong but he keeps coming under fire.It's keeps getting worst,is someone out to get him ,Penny and his family! Kraven comes under fire badly and it effects his family.Kraven has clean house and things finally are looking up for him but without Penny and Remington! Something promising does happen to Kraken and things are looking up.This story has alot of thrills and it never dull.Piper Stone didn't let me down again!Read and enjoy,I did.

I struggled a lot with this book.
This has been a good series and I have really enjoyed the previous books. Many of her stories have a theme - A bad guy with a an iffy moral yet dominant compass and a strong female character. This book seemed to be the exception and I struggled with it. It has all the hallmarks of a Piper Stone Mafia book when it comes to danger, mystery, suspense and intrigue. And while the male character was what I expected to read about, the female character was not. She seemed very immature. Her character like to state over and over again a variation of "I'm a good girl and raised with morals and values" That really started to bug me. Her past and present actions did not jive with being a "good girl". Instead she came across as a child trying to pretend she was an adult. I could not connect with her character at all. In fact she grated on my nerves. I often will go back and re-read books I enjoy and while this book did have a happy ever after, I highly doubt I will ever read it again as I could not connect with her character. I am just being honest on my thoughts of this book.

Down on her luck Penny, she's just been fired, has no money and is starving. She decides, reluctantly, to steal food by not paying for it in an out of way little restaurant, not just for her, but for her dog, Remington Steele. That was her first mistake. The second was saving the life of Kraven, a very bad man.

Why, and what leads up to it is the basis of this story, another in the Lords of Corruption series where we find out a little more about The Brotherhood and the Death Squad.

The usual ingredients of mistrust, secrets, instant attraction and heat make this another good read from one of my favourite authors in this genre.

Quick and easy read

Our fmc saves the mmc life and as a result he decides to keep her.

It is insta lust and love. He is very over bearing and invading her personal space.

All the action takes over 4 days where they are meant to fall for each other.

Fmc is sassy and spice scenes were hot.

The book was short in my opinion and not a lot depth to plot or story. I think if the author could have invested more into the plot and character it would have been mode solid story that i would read again.

I already forgot the characters name. There needs to be more subsance.

The villian was just there cause he wantsd to take over his legitimate business? And mmc keeps going on bout someone betrayed him. Spoiler alert noone does or did. She was dropping hints for nothing.

You would think by now that I would be sick of Mafia-themed books, but it's the
opposite. I can't get enough, and I look forward to each new book released by
Ms. Piper with glee. This new book was beyond steamy, and the disciplinary scenes
made my heart race. Throw in suspense, danger, revenge, brutality, and romance;
and you have a winner.

I loved Penny’s quirky sense of humor. Her tenacity in the face of the unknown. I
loved how she pushed Kraven's buttons and challenged him constantly, but she was
a little too mouthy and feisty, given the circumstances she found herself in. The only
thing in her life that brought her joy was her precious dog, Remington.

Kraven was a dangerous man. King of Las Vegas. His violence was legendary. He was
just another Mafia man used to being in control, but he hid behind a wall of pain. He
was brutal and saw it as his right to rid the world of those who deserved it. I was taken off guard by his reaction to Penny. She may have been his captive, but it shows that good deeds are rewarded and evil deeds are punished. I loved how well Kraven
treated Remington. It showed an unexpected tenderness.

This couple's pasts set the tone for their future together. They both had trust issues to overcome so that they could move forward together. This story was a breath of fresh air.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a revin absolute treat, deliciously alluring, family firings, lies and secrets, betrayal and deceit, enemies and lovers, dark forbidden Kraven Sokolov he has been brought up in the Bratva, as a Pakhan he is ruthless, cruel, and fiercely protective of his family mainly his sister, he never has trouble finding women he was out when he noticed an alluring female at the bar, it was like he was hypnotised by her beauty her presence her confidence. Penny Valentine is beautiful in every way except when someone tries to take them out, while Penny is trying to get information over the business but to no avail. With this series wasfa; excellent the romance was definitely a page turner.

Amazing dual narration from Thomas Locklear and Scarlet Love, who bring the character, angst, heat and drama to your ears


Penny Valentine is at rock bottom having lost her job and her home. The only good thing and only thing she has is her is her puppy Remmington Steele. Penny is decides to go in to a bar and eat and then skip out before the paying.
But not all goes to plan she had gets caught by the owner Kraven Sokolov who is a Russian business man that is well known in Las Vegas. Kraven knows that Penny is in danger. He decides that he has to keep her and Remmington safe. He takes them home.
This book is full heat, chemistry, action, drama and great characters.

Lord of Vice (Book 5 of Lords of Corruption) by Piper Stone is a mafia romance series. Piper Stone definitely knows how to write mafia men and how they like to find their women. This book was delicious as all the other ones and I read it in one sitting.
I enjoyed getting to know Kraven the Pakhan in this story. He is a very strong leader and knows what he wants but of course so does Penny. These two have great chemistry and have a lot to get through together.
I really like this series and can not wait for more!

Kraven, "Red" Penny and the fabulous Remington Steele are the latest characters in the Lords of Corruption series about members of the Brotherhood and their fight against the Death Squad. I love that the "meet cute" story with Kraven and Penny was when this homeless, innocent, beautiful woman was so hungry that she only had enough money to leave a tip and was trying to skip out on paying her bill but ends up saving Kraven's life. There are many great sub characters in this story and the adorable fur baby Remington almost steals the limelight in every scene he is in.

Kraven wants to believe that Penny appeared out of nowhere and saved his life. Unfortunately, in his world, coincidences rarely happen. Their romance if fraught with distrust and danger as well their hot and steamy passion that knows no bounds. Kraven's lack of trust threatens their future. Loved the storyline and the character development as well as the world building. It's a fast paced and an entertaining read!.

This is DEFINITELY a 10/10 book I would recommend to you. This book has some of the best SPICINESS to it to make a chef do his kiss to PERFECTION. This DARK Mafia romance book had me on the edge of the couch and pacing back and forth due to the Suspense it delivers as well as some HOT Romance. I will say that if rough sex and spankings bother you then this book might not be up your alley, however I have read lots of books by Piper and she can write some of the ABSOLUTE BEST and INTENSE reads ever and you are missing out on some of the BEST books ever if you don't read them.

I have read a few of Piper Stones' books and loved them including this one. Lord of Vice, Kraven and Penny along with her dog, Remington meet in an unexpected way that leads to a marriag of convenience. Piper Stone tells a detailed story of two people who needed each other more than they realized and how they develop into more than they expected. Kudos to Piper Stone and can't wait to read the next one.

The story is fast paced, full of action and danger, and very entertaining. It captured my attention and kept it to the end. The writing is excellent and very descriptive about the activities unfolding in front of me. I loved Kraven and Penny and was glad to see their HEA. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and would highly recommend it as a great read along with the other books in this series.

This is the 5th book in the Lord of Corruption series, but it can be read as a standalone. Penny has been living in her car and is starving. She goes to a bar and plans to dine and dash but gets caught and in the process saves Kraven’s life. Kraven knows she will now be in danger and plans to keep her for himself. What a great story We follow Leah and Kraven who is the boss of the Bratva. When one day she loses everything and just when she thinks things can't get any worse at the restaurant where she wanted to eat something, she saves Kraven who owns the restaurant from an assassination attempt. Together they have to flee and Kraven takes her along to keep her safe as they are both now on the hit list. An exciting story with drama, action, danger, betrayal and many steamy moments. Highly recommended and a page turner!
